Location is nice to stay and good to have sightseeing to Austin downtown, Travis Lake area as well. Inside of the house, everything was equipped and enough to enjoy our stay for 2 nights. Direction to there and direction about the entrance from the owner was very easy to understand. I and my family and my friends are all happy to stay here all the time. One small thing is when we arrived there, cleanness of the floor (living area and kitchen) was too dirty. So we had to clean it ourselves. Except that, we are very satisfied. Thanks!

Hi Cindy, Would just like to say we all had a great time. I would recommend to anyone this house as its perfect for everything. We loved the barbecue, games room and the fact we had a park just accross the road. I would just likje to say a big thank you for all the help you gave us.

We couldn't have been more pleased with our stay at this home! We had absolutely everything we needed and it was indeed pure comfort. Spacious, open, meticulously clean and maintained with many special extras. Loved the beautiful decor in earthtones. The beds and linens were outstanding. With 4 adults and 2 teenagers we had more than enough space. The teenagers especially enjoyed the detached gameroom for some time away from the adults. Check in and out was a non-issue. Close to the airport and the location was ideal with easy access to 183 and Mopac. Going to and from downtown and U. of Texas was a breeze. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything and although we didn't cook so we could enjoy our favorite Austin eats, we loved it's space and layout. We really loved the tasteful, uncluttered decor with many areas to read or have coffee. The home actually seems even larger than pictured which was a surprise. Can't thank you enough for the use of your wonderful home. We will definitely recommend to others and plan to return in the future. Cheers, from very happy travelers!

I want to let you know we really enjoyed our trip to Austin and a great part of that enjoyment was due to the fact that we stayed at your GREAT house. Thank you for renting to us. My in-laws, my husband, two daughters and I were very happy and comfortable. The open floor plan of the living area is great, the décor is very nice, the kitchen is well-equipped (we cooked dinner three of the five nights) and the beds….THANK YOU for providing comfortable beds and linens…and finally, being across the street from the school and playground is ideal (considering we have a 6 year old and 2 ½ year old). We had many visitors each day (the entire family was in Austin to attend a family wedding) and all of them remarked on how lovely your home is and what a great idea it was to rent a home versus stay in a hotel. Cindy, staying at your home made the trip perfect. I cannot express my gratitude enough. We’ll contact you the next time we visit Austin.

My family and I stayed in the Stanwood house over Xmas and we had a great time. The house was perfect and only a 10 minute drive to downtown Austin. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks Cindy.

We stayed at Hillhouse in September during my son's wedding week. When wedding preparations got very hectic, it was a joy to come home to this peaceful haven. The girls went to a bridal luncheon one day and my husband had the men folk over for a KC BBQ on the back patio. The day after the wedding,we invited friends over - once again to the patio - for a relaxing day of tacos and beer. Cindy was wonderful to work with and very gracious. Back home, my husband (who frequently wakes up early and can't go back to sleep) commented on how he slept through like a baby each night in Austin. What more can you say? We're renting another VRBO over Christmas in Oklahoma. My standards have been set very high so we'll see if it even compares!

We had a wonderful Labor Day weekend wedding at this house. The Grandkids loved the WII room. The house is beautiful and well furnished. We hope to come back to visit our new family in Austin and stay here when we come back. Cindy and Armin are easy to work with. We had a wonderful stay for "Bridesmaid Weekend" to pick out dresses and enjoy shopping, seeing the wedding venue and just having fun. The groom enjoyed grilling for us all one night and we cooked several meals. Everything was well stocked and convenient. We enjoyed the video games also. Recommend this wonderful house to anyone. Cindy and Armin's place was just perfect! The home exceeded our expectations and provided more than our basic necessities. We hosted a BBQ for our friends and group and it turned out so well! The BBQ patio is conveniently located right by the game room for entertainment. All the beds are very comfortable to sleep in. Cindy is a wonderful person and assisted us with whatever we needed. She took time to come and greet our group and deliver our most needed air mattresses. My favorite feature of the house is the kitchen because it is located in the central area of the house which is very convenient for hosting dinners and providing meals for large groups. The Kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. I especially like the modern design of the kitchen utensils. Overall it was a wonderful stay and I highly recommend this place to stay. We were truly lucky.

We rented the Stanwood house when we came to town for our daughter's wedding. Good neighborhood, nicely furnished, and central to everything. We entertained the in-laws for dinner, and everyone was impressed. My granddaughter especially enjoyed the game room and the playground across the street. We recommend this house, and will likely be back!

This was a wonderful experience for us. The information was readily provided and the check in was flawless. We especially enjoyed the Wii, extra room and decor. The house was very comfortable with easy access to Austin and the nearby sights. We hope to use this house again for our next trip.

Adorable House! I rented this house to host an out of town bridal shower. The layout worked perfectly! Everything was decorated beautifully and immaculately clean. The house is very open and bright. Everything we needed was already there and the beds were SO comfortable. We could not get the TV to work, and the owners were there in less than 30 minutes to help us fix the problem. I would absolutely recommend this house to anyone who wants to get away or host a party. I got tons of compliments.

I could not have asked for nicer accomodations than this adorable home. It was furnished so comfortably; our every need was thought out and provided for with exquisite care. We felt "at home" right away, and all our guests agreed. The open floor-plan gives a spacious feel to the rooms, encouraging great conversations and allowing for lots of company, which we had during our month-long stay in preparation for our daughter's wedding. Any meal was a breeze to prepare in the well-supplied kitchen. Even laundry detergent and dryer sheets were available, making washing day a snap! I personally loved all the books and plants sitting about "my" home for the month; in fact, some friends and family took the books for mine, but I couldn't claim credit! The outside deck and attractive yard added not only space but a beautiful view through the many windows, a calming effect during the high-stress pre-wedding days. The beds were super comfortabe with seemingly brand-new quality linens. Towels were also new and fluffy. And, if anything needed attention, as when the wind took a shutter off, the owners came immediately to remedy it. I loved the house. It was close to everything and very easy to get around Austin from its location. I highly recommend a stay here, and I hope I get to return someday soon.

We had a great stay in the Stanwood house, it is beautifully furnished and well equipped with everything you need - and all brand new. Very close to lots of shops and restaurants, yet everything in the kitchen to cook meals at home as well. A short drive to downtown and having the playground across the road was great for the kids. Cindy and Armin are excellent hosts and made sure everything was just right. Would definitely recommend this house.
