Perfect place to stay
Perfect place to stay
This is a gem. I had, like many others before me, pondered why this condo was rated so highly amongst the others. I took the plunge to find out myself and I was pleasantly surprised. It has exceeded all my expectations. It has a very personal feel to it. You feel that you are very much a privileged guest here when you arrive. Paula has gone to a lot of trouble to make sure every little detail is covered. From the very well stocked kitchen, to the vast array of snacks and little goodies left here for us to enjoy. I have been to plenty of hotels and motels in my time, but none compare to the personal touch that has gone into this one. It has truly made my stay in Whistler memorable. There is nothing like that warm hearted feeling that I felt while staying here. I won't go into all the little details about the place, but trust me you have to stay here!! Paula, you have an outstanding condo, and I'll definitely remember this one for when I come back!

Owner response: Thank you for your wonderful review of our Whistler condo. After reading some of the guest reviews on our vrbo.com site, we are pleased that you decided to send us an inquiry about a reservation. It can be difficult for guests to decide which condo to rent when they haven't been to Whistler before and see all the choices available to them. We are happy that you had good weather for your days spent sightseeing and that our vacation home did meet your expectations. Please let us know when you are planning another trip to Canada. We would glad to have the three of you reserve our home again. Paula

Great Stay at Sunpath #11 Condo
Just wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed our time at your vacation home. I can't believe how well this place is stocked....you have more gadgets here than I have in my own kitchen at home. I really appreciated all the condiments and extra pantry items that you supplied. I have told my friend who lives in Whistler what an amazing place you have to rent and she is going to refer any friends she knows coming to town to your condo. Your place is five star! We hope to come back next summer.

The location is not only perfect for a quick walk to the village or the market but the condo itself is so well equipped that in most cases it's better than home. No stairs to climb with or without luggage. The owner is very helpful with your needs even before you get there. It is our new home away from home.

Favorite vacation rental EVER!
Favorite vacation rental EVER!
If you rent this condo, you will be more than impressed! Paula has thought of every tiny detail and this is what has made our vacation SO relaxing! All you need to bring is a small suitcase! The spice cupboard is full, the condiments in the fridge, all the dishes you could possibly need and more! It is beautifully decorated with mood lighting that totally sets the ambience. It is exactly as it appears in the photos! Paula has labelled things clearly so there is no confusion as to which light switch is for what, tv remotes, laundry machine instructions, etc. She has made it easy enough that you can turn your brain off for the week because she has taken care of everything. The condo is spotless and very well organized, living rooms sofas and the beds are VERY comfortable, the condo is in the PERFECT Location: close enough to the village that our 2 year old could walk back and forth with us several times a day. The pool and hot tub are right out the front door, and we didnt hear a peep from any neighbors. It felt like we were the only ones in the entire complex! Paula was more than lovely to deal with and always answered all my emails/phone calls right away. She has been nothing short of amazing and has gone WAY beyond the call of duty, even leaving a gift basket of goodies for us and our kids. She really has thought of EVERYTHING! I have never stayed anywhere like this, the attention to detail is absolutely astounding! We loved this experience so much that we extended our stay as long as we could and will be booking our trip for next year right away! Paula, I cant thank you enough for this relaxing vacation!!! You're the BEST!!!

My family of four (kids 6 & 4) stayed for a week. It was just perfect. Immaculately clean, wonderfully equipped, private parking, perfect location, and just plain easy. The owner is really nice and helped ensure we had a successful trip. We will stay here again (if it is available) the next time we visit Whistler.

Whistler Sunpath #11 Condo--Out of this World
We wholeheartedly recommend this Whistler village condo and we can't wait to come back again! I wish our stay was longer! The condo is located in the main Whistler village in a Primo location (lower Whistler village) with easy access to everything: the village restaurants, the IGA grocery store, the paved biking trails that go everywhere, the Peak to Peak gondola, etc. My husband and I have traveled all over the world, having lived in the Middle East and him being from Holland, and I have seen a lot of hotels and vacation resorts. Based on our travel experience, we can say this place is truly awesome. And we would stay again in a heartbeat! The Greens have the condo organized to a "T" and there is everything you need in the condo to have a relaxing stay. Not one detail is overlooked. We cooked every night in the kitchen and were able to make meals we would also make at home. There are high-end appliances and equipment throughout the entire condo. I can say we felt right at home. Traveling tips: If you are not into mountain biking, still bring some street bikes because there are miles and miles of paved trails. There is a great place in the underground parking to securely park your street bikes. I would avoid the ancient Cedars trail at Cougar Mountain--we got eaten alive by mosquitos. Or bring some serious bug spray. The Joffre Lakes hike is amazing as well as Nairn Falls. There are tons of amazing trails in the summer.

Total Comfort at Sunpath's Best Equipped Condo
We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Stoney Creek Sunpath #11 condo during our two couples' getaway, for a ten day ski trip at Whistler Blackcomb. The condo exceeded our high expectations for amenities and location to the village and gondolas. The owners treated us like family and made sure our stay was perfect. Great living area and kitchen equipped with everything. It made such a difference finding a place with two super comfortable queen beds. We had the pleasure of sleeping on a brand new mattress in the master bedroom, which was brought in at the beginning of our stay. Nine nights of sweet dreams and sound sleep rounded off our ski vacation. Many thanks, Rita

We loved the property, which is spacious and nicely furnished . Its location is optimal. The landlord was very accommodating and she welcomed us with a variety of food items, snacks etc.It was very well maintained and we would recommend this property to anyone. We are definitely interested in returning here. The only relative weakness were the mattresses ,which were a bit soft.

Owner response: Thank you for reserving our home and writing such a nice guest reviews. Last summer you started planning your stay for February and I enjoyed the emails we have keeping in contact and planning for your arrival. We appreciated you letting us know about the mattress. After you checked out, a new firmer queen mattress was put in the masterbedroom. Good mattresses are important for a vacation home. The guests renting our home right now are going to let us know what they think of this new mattress and if they think it is firm enough. We hope that this newest mattress will make our guests happier and have great nights' sleep after those days on the slopes. Thank you again for choosing our home for your week's stay. Thanks, Paula

About the owner: As our family grows, we all love being in Whistler and some of us stay at our Whistler vacation home every month of the year.
Why the Owner Chose Stoney Creek Sunpath:
We chose our condo for its location in the village and wanted a second home that we could make as comfortable as our full-time home. Not having to drive to grocery stores or restaurants is wonderful and convenient. Everything is just steps away. It's a great reason to go for a walk and stop off at the big IGA store there to pick from their large selection of fresh desserts, fresh rolls, or their nice selection of fresh produce. Their deli even has complete meals. There are so many good restaurants to choose from that we enjoy trying different places when we are there. Stopping by some of the restaurants that have outdoor patio areas to have a bite to eat is a great time for relaxing and people watching. The village is always alive with tourists and visitors walking their dogs there. Our Sunpath complex is small compared to the other Stoney Creek condos on Northlands Blvd. so it is often very quiet there as compared to the village hotels.
The Unique Benefits at this Townhome:
We enjoy our location and the fact that we can park our car and be able to stroll around the village or walk over to the Blackcomb area so quickly and easily. If we are not hiking, skiing, or shopping at Whistler's Function Junction area, we won't need our car again until we head back home. We know how important it is for guests to walk into a home and see that it is as nice as it has been described on our listing. Staying at a wonderful rental can set the tone for a great vacation. We have furnished our home with many little extra touches so that it's very comfortable for long or short vacations. Come for a stay and see for yourself how cozy and comfortable it is. We provide many extras and our guests notice the great lengths we go to so that our guests feel spoiled staying there.
