This house was perfect for large groups -- there were plenty of beds and rooms for multiple families and a lovely fireplace in the master bedroom. Nice big dining table and a brand new grill on the porch off the kitchen. We particularly enjoyed sitting by the fire in the great room after a long day on the slopes--the house was equidistant from Okemo and Killington so we had a taste of both mountains. Definitely recommend, was surprised to discover the house was much larger than the pictures online. Just note there is limited cell service in Plymouth!Did you find this review helpful? We decided not to pray for snow this Christmas and instead head to the snow and the slopes! We're a big family so the Murhpy house was PERFECT for us! The kids hung out in the game room downstairs while the adults cooked dinner and drank wine. The kitchen was fully equipped with plenty of cookware and china and plenty of space at the dinning room table for a big family dinner. The house is surrounded by woods which lent to a private and peaceful weekend. And a quick and easy drive to the slopes (okemo is our favorite)! Loved this rental house for a large group. Very cozy. We were 3 families with 2 kids each. Sleeping arrangements worked out perfectly. Kids stayed in basement playing video games much of the time. Plenty to do nearby, Hawk has swimming, skating, cross country and snow shoeing(all at a fee) and sledding (free if you have your own sled). My only complaint about the house is that some of the furniture is dangerous. bunk beds really wobbley in basement and the ladder is splintered and falling apart on upstairs bunk, and wooden kitchen chairs are falling apart. I understand they probably take alot of abuse, but they should be safe! All in all a great long weekendRecommended for: Families with young children, romantic getaway, families with teenagers.
