Where do you start to describe a perfect holiday in a super VRBO home rental with the best host you could find anywhere ??! ! It's difficult but we'll try. After a number of visits to the Phoenix area, we decided this year to include some family members, including 3 granddaughters (twins aged 7 & their younger sister aged 5). We found Nancy's home in Mesa & booked it for 3 weeks. Upon our arrival, it was like meeting an old friend in Nancy as we'd emailed & chatted on the phone during the booking process. This warm welcome was followed by an in-depth tour of the spotless home & all the facilities - coming from Canada, we're not used to heating pools & spas so Nancy's time & expertise were very much appreciated. The house fit our group of 6 adults & 3 children very well & we all enjoyed the very comfortable beds in every bedroom. We couldn't stump Nancy in the kitchen as the cupboards were stocked with every appliance you could ever need! It was a bonus that the fridge contained ketchup, mustard, jam etc. & the spice selection was better then mine at home. Add to that the drawer full of foil, saran wrap, serviettes, baggies, etc. - always useful items when cooking at home. We were encouraged to use whatever we needed and we replaced anything that we finished. So nice not to have to start with bare cupboards and buy absolutely everything. Also, the laundry area was much appreciated and fully stocked with detergent & fabric softner. The supply of more than ample towels, wash clothes and, in particular, a dozen or more large pool towels, was icing on the cake. Now out to the backyard . . . pure heaven! The pool and spa were sparkling clean, heated and very inviting with the waterfall trickling down into the pool. Needless to say, our little girls "lived" in the pool as the temperatures were higher than normal and just what we needed for spring break from Canada! The outdoor BBQ area, including a small fridge, was the scene of many great meals & happy times. My sister has already booked Nancy's home for a month in the fall to enjoy with some girlfriends to celebrate all their 65th birthdays this year! My 86-year-old mom said it was one of the most relaxing vacations she'd ever enjoyed! During our stay, we babysat the girls while our daughter & son-in-law flew to Las Vegas for a short break - from the Mesa Gateway airport which was 10 minutes away - perfect! Our family can't thank Nancy enough for EVERYTHING - we'll never forget this wonderful holiday!

Perfect for families with children

My husband and I decided to take a trip with our 10 month old son. Among the hundreds of vacation rentals, I found this listing. This house was the perfect fit for what we were looking for. The house was easily accessible to/from the main highway systems, it looked to be spacious and beautifully decorated (modern, stainless steel, granite etc), it had a private heated pool and spa, AND it was fully equipped to handle a baby! This would cut back on what we would have to bring along with us. This house had a crib (our son sleeps terrible in a play pen), a high chair, all stuff for feeding, stroller, play pen, toys, pool toys and a pool safety gate. Perfect! The home owner, Nancy, was a pleasure to deal with and made planning our vacation to Arizona so easy. She was quick with email replies and no question seemed to be a bother! Upon our arrival, she met us at the house to show us around and go over the "rules". She was respectful it had been a long day and didn't stay long. Nancy was available for questions through our vacation and even dropped off a few toys for our son she had found in her travels. What extraordinary service. Nothing bad can be said about the house, property and area. The house was clean (I'm fussy when it comes to clean), well maintained and completely equipped. There was nothing that we needed that we couldn't find in one of the cupboards or drawers. The ONLY thing was the kitchen faucet dripped if it wasn't turned off just right but that should be fixed for the next renter. Whew! The area was quiet and there were several parks within walking distance. The house was close to shopping as well (walmart and safeway just around the corner). Nancy and this rental house made our first trip with our son easy and convenient! We can't wait to travel again with him and hope that we can find another place elsewhere with another Nancy! Regardless, we will be going back to Arizona at some point and with no doubt, will be staying in this rental house. What a wonderful week's stay!

I rented this home for a week in August and from the first hello ! To goodbye ! Staying at this rental home will be your own little peice of paradise !. The reviews realy don't do Nancy the owner or her home justice, working with her was a breeze from deposits to payment and then deposit refund she take's care of every detail in a welcoming friendly manor responding to any question or concern you may have in a timely fashion, either by phone or email before you arrive. It's just the same when your there case in point on the first night there I could'nt work the dvd player in the bedroom even though there were instructions provided , so i called Nancy around 6.30 in the evening to explain my plight ! she was there at the front door in twenty minutes walked me through the operation of said dvd player and left again telling me not to hesitate to call her if i had anymore problem's ! Now that's what i call customer service !!! Its like staying with an old friend who's there to help if you need her ! but otherwise leaves you to do your own thing . Her property is not a rental house ! Its a home from home, clean, warm and inviting with top of the line amenities, Flat screen TV's ! dvd players and movies, great cable, computer & printer, amazing kitchen with cookware and laundry facilities, fantastic pool with waterfalls,hot tub and bbq in a beautifull private garden with high block walls for those who don't like tan lines ! but luv to skinny dipp !. I would highly recomend her home to anybody looking for a 5 star place to stay at a great price ! that has all the comforts of home !!! Cant wait to go back !!!! PS. Forgot to mention that Nancy also arranged for flowers and champagne to be waiting for my girlfriend on our arrival ! and an in home massage for her during our stay which was excellent so she didn't have to waste time driving to a spa !!, we had lots of plan's for sight seeing etc, we never left the house !! The home was absolutely wonderful with every amenity you could possibly imagine. It made packing and travelling much easier knowing that there were so many items at the house for us already! The pantry and cooking items were more than plentiful and all the baby items were GREAT! The home was very acurately described and was more than we could have asked for for our vacation! It was very clean and well maintained. We had an issue with the garage door not working when we got here but Nancy was here to meet us and got someone out on a Saturday afternoon to get it fixed right away for us! I would absolutely recommend this property to ANYONE visiting the Mesa area and we will definitely stay here again on our next AZ visit. It is close to SO many things as far as attractions, shopping and restaurants. Nancy has a great book put together with locations to many of these and we ate at 2 of the restaurants she recommended and they were YUMMY! We hate to leave after having such a wonderful and relaxing week. The kids (& us) thoroughly enjoyed the pool and spent many hours swimming! Thanks Nancy for making this such a relaxing vacation for us and having so many items here for our use! This home was very well stocked with everything we needed. It was very clean, and was just as advertised. It is in a quiet, well-kept neighborhood. The hot tub and pool were great. Nancy was very helpful, thorough, and informative when we arrived. It is very close to any shopping needed. We had a great time and would definitely recommend this property to anyone, families and couples alike.

My husband and I and three of our grown children rented the house for two weeks. Nancy was so easy to work with from the beginning including being very cautious with any credit card info, etc. There was a possibility our small grandson might come and she had the house all set up for him if he did. She is equipped for any age to stay there. The house was clean, pool immaculate and one nice thing was we weren't required to get the bed linens laundered that morning before we left bright and early (we have stayed at places that was required). Nancy was there if we needed her but gave us our privacy and time in the sun. This was the best stocked house we have rented as far as items for the kitchen, toys, baby needs, linens. Whatever you needed it was there. The neighborhood is family oriented and very quiet.

This was my 2nd stay at nancys place for my annual golf trip with the guys. This home is the best for relaxing after a day of golfing. we made great use of the bbq and pool and hot tub area. the rooms are super clean . the beds are really comfortable.also nancy is the best owner to deal with.. this place is near most of the great golf courses we play at annually. I would highly recommend this home to anyone visiting the mesa area. we hope to return again next year.

My husband, myself, 5 adult children and my grandson thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this well-equipped, comfortable and full amenity house. Close to freeways and shopping. Nancy, the owner, could not have been more accommodating. We really enjoyed the pool, hot tub and outside bar. Very private location with all the comforts of home.

Amazing home and an Amazing Lady!

My husband and I and three small children (3 years old and 1 year old twins) LOVED our two week stay at Nancy's home in Mesa. She had EVERYTHING we could ever have dreamed that we didn't have to take with us. The house was fully equiped. There was nothing that was missing and if for some reason there was like we forgot our son's life jacket in the hotel back home she found one promptly and delivered it to us. She had toys for the kids, cribs, playpens, sippy cups, pool toys, bikes, strollers. We couldn't have asked for anything more. The pool was great for the kids and the hot tub was even better for us to relax with a glass of wine once the kids went to bed. The house is in an ideal location. It is in a safe neighborhood and there were four little parks close by which we walked to each morning. There was a Costco and Walmart with in minutes from us too. Nancy was so wonderful to deal with we would highly recommend this place to anyone. The pictures do not do justice to it the home is beautiful! We hope to come back to stay again soon. Nancy is more than a great host, she has become a friend. She is extremely efficient,responsive and her site very user friendly. We had a wonderful week long visit in this home with our son, wife & 8 month old baby. The house was very well equipped, including crib, high chair and stoller for the baby. The house is very clean, roomy & comfortable and we enjoyed the use of the hot tub as well as the pool area for BBQing and visiting. Our family had a most enjoyable time together. I would look no further and choose this home if in the Phoenix area again. We recently booked this home and it has been an excellent experience.Our family has used VRBO many times and this is the most organized, professional and kind owner we have ever rented from.
