Beech also has Tubing and Ice Skating. You are also 15 minutes from Banner Elk and 20 minutes from Sugar mountain (more skiing).
In the summer Golf at the Beech Mountain Country Club(additional fee) or one of the other nearby mountain courses.
The hardest part will be leaving to come back home.
