Palmetto Dunes offers some of the best in Hilton Head vacationing. Three miles of beach, three world renowned golf courses, tennis, general store, canoeing and kayaking, and bike and pedestrian paths make this an excellent choice for your stay on the island. Fairly central to the Island along Highway 278, Palmetto Dunes also is located across the way from Shelter Cove, a significant harbor, shopping center, and mall. Queens Grant is located off of the central corridor of Palmetto Dunes and gives great access to all the amenities PD has to offer.
Our villa is ideally located on the east end of the condo complex closest to the beach, general store, Alexander’s restaurant, bike and canoe rental office, and the club house of the Robert Trent Jones golf course. One of the five pools in the community is steps from the rear entrance. The beach is roughly a 10 minute walk.
The large open layout of this villa features a vaulted-ceiling great room with a sofa and two love seats providing plenty of seating for watching the large flat screen TV. A sliding door, big window and skylight provide lots of light. The kitchen area is fully equipped with all the pots, pans and utensils you will need should you decide that eating in is your preference. The kitchen includes modern appliances including a stack washer and dryer. Located between the kitchen and great room is a dining area with large table and chairs. Out the back sliding doors is a patio/garden area with table and chairs. A gas grill is available for your use.
The Master Bedroom and first guest bedroom, each with a separate bathroom, complete the rooms on the ground floor. The master has a king size bed along with a sliding door opening to the back patio. The two downstairs bathrooms have recently been updated with new tub/shower units. The downstairs guest bedroom has a full size and a twin size beds. The guest bedroom upstairs also has a full size and a twin size beds. The upstairs bedroom has its own full bathroom. All bedrooms have cable TV.
For those needing to stay in touch with the office or desire to surf the web, high speed wireless internet is available. A DVD player is available for the TV in the great room.
Discounts on golf and tennis are available and a free shuttle is part of the Palmetto Dunes offerings.

The Unique Benefits at this Villa
Our villa feels like a home away from home. We enjoy the secluded patio, the open layout, and bedrooms that can provide privacy if desired. We enjoy bike riding throughout the resort and try to catch at least one round of golf at one of the PD courses during each visit.

Our family has vacationed in HHI since the early 90s. We all still look forward to our time together here especially as the kids have moved out and started families of their own.
