We recently returned from our trip to Colorado and I have to say that this was one of the best trips and best places we have stayed at. THE HOME HAD EVERYTHING TO OFFER...and as one family member stated, "It's so cozy!" Not because it was small but because it was like home away from home. The description listing and photo's could not have been more accurate. Plenty of room for everyone!!! Shelli was quite helpful with recommendations, assistance, advice and help. We would definitely recommend it to anyone. The location was great..you felt like you were removed but yet so close to everything.

We just returned from our 3 night stay at this cozy property. We are a group of 4 families with children ranging from 8 to 15 years old. Everyone gave our stay a thumbs up! The listing info and pictures are accurate and the owners answered our correspondences quickly. There was plenty of space to spread out or hang together. We enjoyed the nearby skiing, sledding hills, sleigh ride and "always hot" hot tub. Our evening around the fire pit roasting hot dogs and marshmallows was a highlight ... a little like camping in the winter :) We all agreed that we would enjoy staying here again in the future.

We recently stayed at the Mango Lodge with our 3 kids (7, 5, 2) and my father and brother. We loved it! Plenty of space for everyone. Toys/board games/sleds for the kids. My husband and boys loved the fire pit. Cooking was a breeze - they have everything kitchen tool you would need. They even have a pack and play and a booster seat for the table! Tony and Shelli have a beautiful home on with gorgeous views and we highly recommend staying there again to anyone skiiing at Winter Park.

Three families spent Christmas at the Mango house in Tabernash. The house was decorated with tree and lights, ready for us when we arrived (Thanks Mrs. Mango!) .We made full use of the always-hot hot-tub, the huge fire pit, and the surrounding sledding areas. The house was nice, lots of space for the 7 adults and 8 kids to be comfortable. The kitchen was fully stocked, and we enjoyed time playing games, and watching movies. Tony was very responsive to my multiple questions via text/email. I would definitely stay here again!

Wow, what a beautiful home in a perfect setting. My family had the pleasure of staying at Mango Lodge for our fathers 85th birthday. When we arrived, we found the home fully stocked with everything we would need. The extra frig/freezer in the garage was wonderful, because this family knows how to eat. My parents were able to stay on the main floor which was best suited for them. The bunk beds were great for the kids, and the rec room was great for the big kids. We sat on the deck and listened to my nephew play the guitar and sing. The fire pit was the perfect place to share stories of past travles, including the story of the yette, in Nepal. When it came time to leave, we all agreed that we would return. With my family scattered all over the country, Mango was the perfect setting for a family get together.

We would like to thank the Mango Family for the use of their home for our vacation. Everything was wonderful! The location of the house was convenient to everything we wanted to do, but also gave the impression you are the only ones there. When we were at the house, the kids had plenty to keep them busy with the firepit, climbing trees and just walking around looking for deer and {?} bears(?)!! We went thru the Rocky Mountain National Park to Estes Park and back, hiked to the YMCA waterfall, rented a pontoon and took the kids fishing. The guys went fishing every morning and usually got their limit of trout. Also, went to Winter Park Resort and did all the things there: alpine slide, bungee jumping, rock climbing, mini golf, and, of course, shopping! As you can see, we kept busy so relaxing in the evenings in the hot tub and cooking hot dogs and s'mores in the firepit were just what we needed before going to bed. As far as space went, we had 3 families and a total of 13. Each family had their own floor with bathroom and everybody had a bed to sleep in. The grandkids, 7 of them, ranged in age from 5 to almost 14. We would recommend this house to anyone who likes to have space inside and out. Thank you again!

9 of my family stayed here during my sons wedding at Snow Moutain Ranch. What a great place and very close to the ranch. We didn't have time to enjoy the home as we were busy with wedding activities! My son hosted a bon fire the night before the wedding for his grooms men and it was the only fire we had time for. We had snow while we were there and did get some great pictures!

This house is beautifully located in a quiet yet convenient area of Tabernash, giving guests an authentic mountain experience. The owners were very friendly and punctual in replying to our inquiries and providing the information we needed. In one occasion we had to cancel our stay due to an emergency, and the owners were very accommodating in finding a solution that worked for both parties. Greatly recommend!

Perfect! The house is in close proximity to any mountain activity you could want, but still maintains that remote/wilderness feel that we look for in a mountain vacation. While on-site, we spent our time taking in the great scenery, sitting around a fire in the firepit, sledding at one of many great sledding hills on-property or just goofing around in the snow. We also took in many of the activities offered at nearby towns. Since we have small kids, we spent our time skiing at Sol Vista which is only a 10-15 minute drive. Sol Vista was a great place for our kids to learn to ski and snowboard. We also went to Fraser and Winter Park to take in the tubing hill and Christmas festival which was also a short drive. Our group of 12 was very comfortable in this house with each of the 3 families taking one level of the house. All of the details were covered from cooking supplies, to firewood for the outdoor firepit. We were more than pleased with all that this house had to offer and definitely plan on coming back...maybe in the summer next time.

My wife and I were fortunate to book this cabin for a quiet anniversary getaway, and were very impressed during our stay. The cabin has an excellent combination of upscale amenities along with a cozy mountain style. The fire pit and hot tub were particularly nice features to have, and we certainly enjoyed the private mountain setting. Definitely one of the nicest properties we've stayed at, and can easily accommodate a wide range of groups.
Owner response:Thank you - join us again!

If you are trying to decide between two places, let us help you-pick this one!!! We have stayed at many many different places in this area, and this was was definitely our favorite! It is beautiful, roomy, and there is something for everyone. In our group we had all ages and everyone had a great time-from sledding, using the hot tub, to roasting marshmellows at night out by the fire pit. I hope we can go back soon! You definitely won't be disappointed!

We have had the pleasure of staying in the Mango Lodge a few times and it has fast become our favorite getaway! Whether traveling by car or air,in winter or summer, one family or three, you will not be dissappointed. We have all the comforts of home and both my kids love it so much, they never want to leave! All the local activities are a short distance away, yet you have complete privacy. The home is so roomy with lots of space to spread out. The jacuzzi/fire pit are so much fun at the end of the day! Shelli and Tony take so much pride in their home and it shows. We can't wait to go back!

We had a wonderful extended weekend in the mountains. The house was so secluded and had all the ammenities! The kids enjoyed sledding on the long driveway. We all found the hot tub perfect after a day of skiiing. We also had fun playing outside and having a fire in the firepit. The house was so beautiful and perfect for a few families. It was a great place to stay and we will be back next year!!

This home is absolutely amazing and is large enough for three families. Our kids were in paradise when they saw the forts in the trees and the sleds under the deck. The hot tub was perfect after a long day of skiing, and the family enjoyed making smores over the fire pit. The owner, Shelli, was wonderful to work with. It is exactly how it looks in the pictures – down to the Christmas decorations! We look forward to returning next year.
