This beautiful home with comfortable furnishings is set up to entertain. It is located on Lake Greenwood, a 13 mile long lake in Upstate South Carolina which is fed by the Saluda and Reedy Rivers.
The 60' lake side porch is the perfect spot to sit and watch the sunset each night. With a Western facing view, you are insured a great sunset view over big water. The big open water allows for an unobstructed view across the Lake toward Greenwood State Park. Many windows give a clear view of the lake while cooking or watching TV.
In the evenings, enjoy the sounds of the lake on the screened porch that is attached to the home with french doors and also adjoins to the lakefront porch. This home was built with the focus on making the lake and outdoors part of the home.
If lake activity is for you and your family, enjoy the large dock with Adirondack chairs while the sun goes down each night. The dock features double boat lifts and two jet ski lifts that can be rented separately if desired. A boat ramp is also available on the adjoining property.

- Lakefront : Dock with double boat lifts and two jet-ski lifts. Dock space is plentiful and ready for entertaining. The stereo from the house is wired direct to the dock. Set the Sirius radio from the TV, pipe it to the dock and enjoy the day with music! The lifts can be rented for $100 per boat lift, and $50 per jet-ski lift.

Everything was just as it says it would be. The location, the amenities and there was nothing we needed. We did have warm weather so, we were able to swing over the lake and kayak everyday! The view cannot be beat, it is right on the lake! The sunsets were great and even though it was warm, we still built fires. The places to build fires are irresitible! We look forward to visiting this home again in the summer. The resident, Blue Herron was fun to watch flying into the trees and listening to the bird call others. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a 'great' value vacation at the lake.

We spent a week here in the summer of 2010. We spent 9 days in the summer of 2011. In the summer of 2012.....they may have to evict us!!!!!!!!!! This is truly a warm and welcoming home. Chip and Miki allow some very lucky people to share their family retreat and it is the farthest thing from your average rental. When we walked in the first time we were amazed.....it is modern, clean, beautifully decorated and has an amazing view. Every bedroom has a bath and the living room, kitchen and and dining room areas are open with fantastic views of the water. The best feature though is the huge back porch, complete with ceiling fans, so you can read and relax while watching the water. An outdoor kitchen area is right off the screened porch. This lake is awesome......clean, deep enough, big enough, yet not so busy that you can't ski right from the dock. We are so enamored with the place that we bought a lot just a few doors down and plan to build in the next few years!

We loved our stay at the Cooper's lake house. The house was great and the porch views were beautiful. It was nice to be close to our own home but we still felt like we were away on a nice vacation. The house was complete with all your needs. We would love to rent again! Your property description was very accurate but even better in person. The house was very clean and well maintained and you could feel at home. If we asked for anything to be different---it would be instructions (step by step) written down for the TV den and stereo system and speakers (If ya'll had cameras watching us you could have sent it to "America's funniest videos and won !!) Before i forget, the ice machine was GREAT !! Thanks for a great stay!!!!!!!!!!

This is an excellent place to relax and enjoy family time on the big water of Lake Greenwood. Boat and jet ski rentals were closeby. The accommodations were excellent and we certainly hope to return!!

This is a beautiful property and the listing and photos are exactly as it appears. The view is amazing and we kept our boat right at the dock. The back porch was a great place to have an evening fire in the firepit and share good times with our friends.The owners are great to work with and you can't beat their rates. We will be returning in the fall and have already shared the website with our friends and family. We highly recommend staying there.

We had a great time! Loved the view and spent most of our time just sitting on the porch and the dock with a book. How relaxing! It had everything we needed for our getaway. Nicely decorated, but cozy and comfortable like home. We definitely want to come back and will recommend it to our friends.
