While sitting in the lanai, you can enjoy the wildlife on the lakefront while overlooking the golf course or go for a swim in your private heated pool. The house is tastefully decorated and fully equipped with such things as a large TV in the living room and a TV in the master. Ceiling fans can be found in all bedrooms and living room.
This country club community offers an 18-hole championship golf course, pro shop, a full service clubhouse and recreation facilities including tennis and an activity center with a director.
Colonial Country Club is conveniently located off Colonial Boulevard, an east-west thoroughfare near Interstate 75. A few miles west you will find some beautiful beaches, including Fort Myers Beach, Sanibel Island and Captiva Island.

Year Purchased: 2008
My husband and I currently live in Houston, Texas. He is originally from Seattle, WA, and I am from Sydney, Nova Scotia, Canada. My husband is employed as an engineer in the oil and gas industry and I was employed in the same industry in Canada until our move to the U.S. in 2005. We enjoy visits with family and travelling and are currently brushing up on our golf skills.
Why the Owner Chose Colonial Country Club
As my husband and I were both brought up on the coast and love the warmer climate, we decided to purchase a home in Fort Myers. It is our intention to retire here in about 10 years and thought we would make the investment early. While we looked at many golfing communties in the Fort Myers area, we both were extremely impressed with what Colonial Country Club has to offer. As we love to travel and plan to do much of that in the summer, it was also important to us that Fort Myers had an International Aiport.
