Absolutely magnificent! As described, this home was a joy to experience. My family and I, in an effort to get away from the hectic lifestyles we all lead in NYC, and do some skiing at the same time, decided to stay in this wonderful home. It was a large, yet cozy atmosphere, where everyone had their own space to get away. As soon as you entered the home you feel welcomed. Skiing was a short drive away, the snow, the mountains and the stars were priceless. It was as if you had died and gone to heaven. I can only imagine what the home is like in the summer, with the surrounding areas of peace and tranquility. The home is a must see, and better yet, a must stay. Highly recommended! Enjoy your stay!
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, adventure seekers, families with young children, sightseeing, age 55+.

We're a family of 4 with preteens & a small dog from NYC and stayed in this house for one gorgeous fall weekend. The house is located in such a pretty road across from stream/swimming hole, and yet only 5 min to downtown Woodstock. The house was clean, neatly organized and all the bedding and towels were almost new! Our kids & dog enjoyed playing football in the backyard and walking in the woods behind the house. Kitchen was fully stocked and the outdoor grilling was fun (we almost never get to do in Manhattan!). We'll definitely go back again, in fact we're thinking of booking for our ski weekend!
Recommended for:Tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, sightseeing, pet owners, age 55+, girls getaway.
