Egrets Herons and the Like...Who knows what you will see during your stay at The Sanctuary House in The Key West Golf Club. This is a 4 bedroom, 2.5 bath Great House located in the Key West Golf Club within the Sanctuary overlooking the nature pond sheltered from golf balls. You can lay comfortably and safely in the sun all day long by the pool or if you prefer you, float in the pool and spy the wild life!!
The second story master suite with Queen has views of the pool, nature preserve, and fairway. There is a Queen bed and also a twin bed in the sitting room off the master. The sitting room can be made private by closing the pocket doors. This is a great room for a couple traveling with a young child ( or a girls trip!). The master bath has a double sink and glass and tile shower. The master also has French doors that open to an enclosed balcony or porch with views of the pool, pond and Fairway. There are two additional Full bedrooms that adjoin with pocket doors that have access to a covered porch. These two bedrooms share a tub bath shower with a decorative band of turtle tile!
On the first floor there is the kitchen and bar area that connects to the dinning area and onto the living area. The French doors open onto the deck with views of the pool and nature preserve. The forth full bedroom is off the living room and can be made private with pocket doors.
As you approach The Sanctuary gates on Golf Club Drive you will see the prettiest little lake with Ibis nesting in the trees. Enjoy the green views but watch out for the baby ducklings and other harmless creatures! Wind around Golf Club Drive and notice the Flowering trees and Palm trees. As you arrive at The Sanctuary House you will be greeted by a large Bird of Paradise. Pull into the covered carport and begin to relax, you are here!!
The house is family friendly and great for lounging about. If things get too quiet grab the kids and head to The Community Pool and Clubhouse. The Pool is gigantic and has a fountain that any 6 year old would spend hours standing under!! There is also a meditation garden that is every gardener's dream!! In addition, The Golf Club has a bar and restaurant if you are too relaxed to drive the 4 miles to Sloppy Joe's Bar. The Sanctuary House is near Smathers Beach too...make a day of it. Rent bikes and trail it! And you can safely bike to Duval Street...it's not that far.
Across the road from the Golf course are some great Marina's for you on the water types. Hurricane Hole Marina has it all. Be on the water within minutes of walking out your door. Kayaking and Diving and boat rentals are a breeze at Hurricane Hole and they have a great outdoor bar too.

*** Summer is the premiere time to be on the water. No wet suits needed ever(don't really need them in winter either). Be sure to have the Hogfish while you are in town and if you're a diver shoot your own! The Sanctuary House can be your Gateway to all Key West has to offer, minutes to Duval and minutes to the water. You're Gonna Have a Great Time!
