Margaret&Lisa, A prefect location with all the amenities for my family history quest. The Lifesaver Derbyshire Street Atlas would have gotten lost several times without it. Also appreciate the coffee,cereals,jams ect which allowed us to settle in without rushing out to the shop- very nice touch. Enjoyed local pubs with WiFi needed to keep in touch with family. The time spent in Chesterfield was absolutely wonderful. A big part of this pleasure was due to the apartment where I stayed. The apartment was comfortable, very well kept and had everything needed.(The pictures do not do it justice). One of the nicest aspects was the ease of transportation. The bus stop was just outside the door, which had me downtown in less than 15 mins. The countryside was close and the ideal english countryside. Any problems with the apartment was quickly taken care of. Lastly, there were numerous resturants and pubs easy to access.

Recommended for:Adventure seekers, age 55+, girls getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

very cute renovated apartment, had everything we needed and we had a enjoyable stay. Good location for day trips to such areas as York,Derby,Shefield, Chatsworth etc. Chesterfield is an ancient town that was fun to explore. We appreciated the welcome basket .

The flat was ideal. We had everything we needed, the location was perfect, the area was very nice. Our stay was wonderful. We used this location as a home base and traveled all over during the day. It was a good location to get to various castles and caverns. The small town Chesterfield was so refreshing and the people were so nice. We enjoyed walking around the town. We met a few locals that were so willing to give advice on food, sights to see and what not to miss. We really enjoyed our stay and will stay here again. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet location. Thank you.

Perfect location for castle hopping

My sisters and I just returned from England. We flew into London, did some sightseeing on our trek up to Chesterfield which was a quick and direct route from London. The town was just perfect. Very friendly and helpful people. Lots of places to see in a 50 mile radius - many castles and historic buildings, Sherwood Forest, caverns, places to hike, We ran out of time long before we ran out of things to see and do. The town of Chesterfield was charming and the big open market was just perfect to browse through and get some good fresh fruit and vegetables. The flat was fully furnished and very comfortable. We could have cooked but chose to just eat breakfast there and tackle the roundabouts the rest of the day. Many fine eating places within walking distance of the flat. Our only struggle was with communication. Our cell phones did not work to call locally and working phone booths were not abundant. We found several places that had Wi-fi for internet connections. The owner did have a cell phone in the flat. we could never figure out how to buy minutes on it but we survived nonetheless. Highly recommend this property and the area of England to explore. We want to return to see more of what we missed. If you did not have a car, it would be difficult to explore as there were very limited transportation options to go sightseeing

WE LOVED STAYING HERE IN CHESTERFIELD. THE APARTMENT WAE WONDERFUL TO COME HOME TOAT THE END OF THE DAY IT WAS BEAUTIFULLY DECORATED AND HAD ALL THE AMENITIES THAT WE NEEDED. WE LOVED HOW THE KITCHEN WAS DESIGNED TO BE AN EFFICIENT USE OF SPACE. THE COUNTRYSIDE WAS BEAUTIFUL. THANKS AGAIN

We had two wonderful weeks in Chesterfield - there were two couples and we were very comfortable in the apartment, which was well furnished and had everything there that we needed. Great places to visit, lots of history, and great shopping. The Market was wonderful.

We stayed over the Christmas holdiay and had a wonderful time. The apartment was very nice and well equiped with everthing we needed to be comfortable. Bright and cheery, very clean. Owner was a dream to deal with. It was conveniently located to the bus line and within walking distance of resturants. Easy access to train station. The entire town was charming with lots of sight seeing in the surrounding area as well as in the town itself. A great location to explore this part of England from. We can whole-heartedly say we would rent this apartment again.
