Nice well kept apartment. Has everything you need. Much better than renting a motel! Great to have access to washer/dryer , especially longer stays. Close to local shops for everything you may need. Less than 10 minute walk to Muni station. Really enjoyed our stay and would rent again if we come back! Only negative would be that the cable and internet were down for our entire 10 day stay. A bit inconvient, but managed to access a computer at the tourist infomation downtown and other places. Had a Great time!!
Owner response:We had a major rain and wind storm that pulled the comcast cable from the house, disabling wifi and cable tv. Comcast was slow to come out to repair, taking 3 days. It was really inconvenient, but the repairman gave me a tip that I will pass on. He said that when something like that happens, the owner should say it's an emergency with the cable posing a threat to the safety of people. Then Comcast sends an emergency repairman. :-)

This little apartment was very convenient to the bustling Castro strip, but felt very quiet though only a block from the action. The accommodation had plenty of room for our family to gather for a dinner, and the bedroom was especially commodious. I would stay there again.
Owner response:Our flat is very convenient to public transportation, shops and restaurants. We are so encouraged by the enjoyment of our guests.

I stayed for over two weeks in this apartment over the summer, and it exceeded my expectations. I was familiar with San Francisco and the Castro district before booking, and arrived to find an apartment that was more spacious than I had anticipated. Visitors not familiar with the San Francisco housing market need to be aware that apartments and hotel rooms here tend to be smaller than in many other parts of the country. I found this unit to be fairly roomy for a SF studio, not all of which have separate living and sleeping areas like this "junior 1 bedroom" style unit. The owner, Elaine, was very prompt and professional in responding to my e-mails; when I arrived, everything was exactly as depicted. The bed and the living room seating are very comfortable, and the apartment has good interior lighting. The kitchen is compact but well equipped, with a large selection of appliances, pots, pans, and utensils. A very nice local supermarket is a two-block walk away, and the Castro has a summer farmer's market (@ Market & Noe) that takes place every Wednesday in the afternoon and early evening. The apartment is quiet (noise from a schoolyard down the street does not carry into the unit) while also being right around the corner from shops, restaurants, and bars. I was really happy with this apartment and wouldn't be surprised to find myself booking it again!
Owner response:I enjoyed this review because it reflects how I feel about the flat and the wonderful neighborhood!

My wife and I stayed here with our 1 1/2 year old and our 3-1/2 year old. The location was convenient and easy for public transport to Moscone center for the convention. Just a block down the street is a nice playground and indoor Parks and Recreation facility for the kids. The underground MUNI is just a couple of blocks away making it easy to shuttle the kids downtown. Not being too familiar with the city, we did keep a car for a couple of days, the owner supplied us with a parking pass, parking did not seem to be an issue. We did not spend alot of time at the apartment, it was perfect for what we needed--a good place to stay in a good neighborhood that was convenient for multiple forms of transportation.
Owner response:Our studio is surprisingly accommodating for a small family and an easy commute to many attractions. Thank you for your fine words.

Real nice place ,first time to San Francisco . I would recommend this place very nice area , friendly people and lots of eatery within few blocks. Make sure to bring good walking shoes because SF is the type of city you want to use public transportation to see alot of sites. My wife and I will come back and stay here again. This place was small but very idea for two people! Nice and clean and felt safe.....John & Rosie Gomez -Texas
Owner response:We are glad that our tenants enjoy the flat. It is a large studio, but still is a studio. It is very nicely furnished and an ideal place for one or two people.

Thank you Elaine, Michelle, and Lance, for making my stay in your cosy flat so enjoyable. I will definitely recommend your apartment for single or couple who seeks ideal location in San Francisco. Despite the lively Castro street just one block away, I did appreciate the quiet and friendly neighbourhood. Besides, thanks to convenient transportation (bus lines 33 and 24, or Castro station) all quite near, if one plan to move around the Bay, no need to drive a car in the City since parking can be problematic. Yours truly. Jean-Pierre Brzechwa from France.
Owner response:Jean-Pierre was a delightful guest. It was a pleasure to meet him.

I just spent a week at the unit, it has a perfect location, 3 blocks from transportation terminals, 2 blocks from supermarket, you can be in downtown in 8 minutes by Metro and the area is an upscale neighborhood, quiet and safe. The kitchen is fully furnished, hi speed wi fi, cable and it is the cleaniest and tidiest unit I've been. The attention to small details is amazing, definitely 5 STARS!! Owners has the BEST customer service, complete follow up, clear instructions, I fully recommend it, enjoy SF!!!
