This bungalow is exactly as depicted and Winston and Lynn could not have been more helpful in arranging our stay. We reserved the bungalow for 3 nights, for our daughter's wedding weekend. It was a great location for us, close to the venue for the wedding. It was so nice to have a home away from home, for friends and family to stop by and say "hi" during our stay.We all were in awe at the attention to detail in decorating and the warmth of this cozy cottage. Not only would we recommend this property, we hope to soon stay there again..many thanks to Winston and Lynn.

i can only say that the bungalow was even better than its description - the attention to detail is superb and it is beautifully maintained. We had no car, but it is very easy to walk and to use public transport and the necessary amenities were less than 5 minutes away. The owners are so helpful and the emails beforehand were really friendly and communicative. The bungalow is the perfect place from which to explore Hollywood and indeed Los Angeles too. If I ever come back - and it is a little distant from the UK!- I would want to stay here again. I will be recommending it to all my family and friends.

This is the best place to see LA !!!!! You can visit the most things by foot (Walk of fame etc) and car (universal Studios) to avoid the terrible traffic of Los Angelos. This house is very nice. I cannot imaginate 1 negative point about it. Only maybee 2 little advises : From Europe you have to pay extra for the banktransfer, there must be another way I think. And free coffee will be a very nice extra service. After travelling it is nice to drink something without going to the shop first. Thanks again and Cheers from Holland !!!!!!

What a surprise! This was a cute little bungalow tucked away right off the walk of fame! Super immaculate place, very safe and secure, very private. Had everything we needed (mom and 3 kids 13,11 and 9). The owners were hospitable, considerate and helpful. Excellent value as well. HIGHLY recommended!

We stayed here over the holiday season of 2011. We loved the convenient location and the layout of this very cute property. Lynn and Winston are the nicest family and provided everything we could hope for during our visit. The home was just as pictured; spotless, charming and centrally located. Having 3 tv's was great, it rained quite a bit while we during our stay so that feature was much appreciated. Thank you Lynn and Winston, I hope we can stay again this year!

Winston and Lynn, your hospitality is outstanding and sincerely appreciated. You have created a marvelous living experience in the stunning bungalow: evocative of the Golden Age of Hollywood, brilliantly renovated and aesthetically pleasing even to the pickiest of clients, and clean and neat as a pin. The three of us had the pleasure of staying with you for ten days earlier this month, and we had a fabulous time. The location could not be better, and we especially enjoyed the off-street, gated parking. We liked the confederate jasmine so much that we came straight home and bought some plants for our own garden! We've already recommended your bungalow to friends here in North Carolina, and we also plan on returning when we're back on the West Coast. If you're searching for the perfect accommodation in Hollywood, you've found it! We stayed at the Hollywood bungalow in early January and could not say enough about the accommodation, the location and our kind hosts, Winston and Lynn. The bungalow was spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, very well-equipped and so welcoming to come home to at the end of the day. We loved staying in a neighbourhood that was quiet and safe, yet within walking distance to so many attractions! Our boys (young adults), raved about the bungalow and happily explored the area on their own. Winston and Lynn were wonderful hosts, and so kind and thoughtful too. It was the perfect family vacation spot! We hope to come back some day soon!!!

This was my second stay at the bungalow and I must say it was even better than the first. Words cannot describe the cleanliness, attention to detail and TLC that Winston & Lynn have given this lovely little home and its lush surroundings. So cozy and bright, every time I stay here it truly is like coming "home" again. From the charming, vintage decor to the abundance of towels & linens, private driveway and washer/dryer, this place has everything you would ever need (and then some) while traveling. Where do I start?! My husband and I had the most active-faboulous time in Hollywood. We had three action packed days, that included trips to Santa Monica Pier, Farmers Market, Griffith Park, Redondo Beach, a concert at the Hollywood Bowl, driving through the Hollywood Hills and of course our last afternoon was spent walking the strip. The highlight of each day was coming home to the bungalow. I couldn't wait to make snacks and sit out on the front porch amongst the tropical surroundings and reminisce about the day . The bungalow is located in a very quaint and quiet area. Yet, at the end of the street you are just across the road from the markets. Lynn and Winston made our weekend getaway very memorable by providing above and beyond hospitality and by providing the the most unique bungalow in Hollywood! It truly is beautiful. Each day we would find something in the bungalow to comment on and of course I had to take pictures to show friends when we returned home. It is Top Notch! We will be back one day!

Charming, cozy, and ideally located

We've rented several homes and cottages in the US and Europe in the last 10 years. This is the only one that's as nice as has been promised in the description. It's great -- cozy, well-appointed, and clean. It has some cute touches of Hollywood glamour. Plus, it's located just far enough from the Hollywood strip that it's peaceful, too. One more thing. While you might want to rent it because you can walk to Hollywood attractions, we found the real benefit is the easy access to downtown LA, the western areas (Beverly Hills, Santa Monica, Venice), and north (Burbank, Topanga). LA is so much more than Hollywood that you will surely be driving or taking the Metro to other areas, too.
