Ready for a great vacation experience, free of crowded beaches and theme parks. Then you have come to the right place. This wonderful home is sure to please all. It is a very spacious home and enables your family and friends to spread out or congregate whichever you prefer. On the main floor with french doors that open onto a large deck and overlook the lake is the kitchen, laundry room, garage, 1/2 bath, den with flat screen HDTV, dinning room, master bedroom (with french door opening onto the deck) and master bath with garden tub and separate shower. Upstairs are 3 more bedrooms, 2 bedrooms have full size beds with fantastic views of the lake, a full bath, and an additional bedroom with 4 twin beds. Downstairs is a another large den with flat screen HDTV french doors that open onto patio area(we are adding a kitchenette to this area) and another master bedroom and bath. All of these rooms also have beautiful views of the lake. The house is beautifully landscaped and sits on over an acre of land which gently terraces down to the lake where you will find a dock that is the perfect place to swim, fish, float around in the calm waters, or maybe you would enjoy watching your family and friends ski, tube, or ride on a jet ski or you might just want to sit and relax and enjoy the sounds of a warm summer day. Across the lake is a natural setting and home to egrets, ducks, owls, hawks, deer, and some have even boasted of seeing the elusive bald eagle.
Rocky Creek is a great skiing location with a long straight run of protected waters for glass smooth surface. Also a great fishing location, nice size Crappie (white perch), Large Mouth Bass, and of course Catfish.

The Home is 10 minutes from historic downtown Milledgeville, for shopping, restaurants, antiques, the governors mansion. Milledgeville was the capital of Georgia until the end of the civil war.

  • We had a great time here this last summer. The Freeman siblings, numbering 5 plus all of the spouses, got together here as a group, under one roof, for the first time in many years. Quiet nights, starlit skies, and sitting around the bonfire in the evening provided just the right atmosphere. Great antiquing, access to the antebellum trail, and other historical sites, made our visit here unique and with something for everyone in our diverse group to enjoy. Our Host was always gracious and obviously experts on the area's atractions.

  • Stayed in this home last week of October 2008. It was wonderful. The photo's do not do justice to the home, it is beautiful and the lake was awesome. Will go there again.
