Accommodations: Condo, 2 Bedrooms + Convertible bed(s), 2 Baths (Sleeps 6)
Keywords: Condominium
This non-smoking unit is in a superb beachfront location and with two living rooms as well as two bedrooms, two bathrooms and two balconies and is ideal for larger families or two families sharing and wanting their own 'space'. There are just 15 units in the building and each one is accessed via a card-operated lift that takes you directly into the lobby outside your own condo. Furnished and equipped with style, the balcony overlooking the beach and the gulf is accessed via patio doors from living room one and the master bedroom. This is the perfect place to enjoy those wonderful sunsets and just watch life on this quiet unspoiled beach go by. There are stairs from this balcony down to the pool and the beach below, so you don't even need to take the lift!
The other balcony overlooking the intercoastal waters is accessed by the second living room and is a great spot to watch the sun come up in the mornings. The second bedroom also has views from the large windows over these waters. Most days, if you close the screens and leave the patio doors open on both balconies, a beautiful cool breeze wafts through the apartment - in fact, much of the time the air-conditioning is not even needed!
As well as a large flat-screen television and DVD in the main living room, there is a second TV and DVD in the second living room, and televisions in both bedrooms. There is also an iPod dock to enjoy your favorite music, Wi-Fi and a laptop table/chair to surf in comfort. There is a selection of books and board games for when you want to get out of the sunshine, and there's a crib and baby chair as well as some pool toys for the kids.
The master en-suite bathroom has a newly fitted shower door, and a large vanity unit with cupboards under where the new hairdryer is stored. The second bathroom has a tub as well as a shower.
Outside, there is a kidney-shaped pool and plenty of sun beds on the deck. There is a gate directly on to the beach which is unspoiled and generally a quiet place to relax, walk or go shelling. Allocated parking is undercover, and a number of good restaurants - from diners to fine dining - are all within a few minutes drive/walk of the condo.
We love our place on the beach - and we're sure you will too.

Owner Description

We love to stay in the unit whenever we can, it's so very relaxing. I am a writer and this is the perfect place for me to catch up with my writing, while my husband loves to watch the seabirds and dolphins. We've seen eagles, osprey, buzzards and numerous other birds whilst just relaxing on the balcony, or walking on the quiet beach.
Why the Owner Chose West Coast Vista
We love this part of Florida and were looking for a property that took full advantage of both the intercoastal waterways and the beach. With a balcony overlooking both, we knew we had found our dream place when we stumbled on WEST COAST VISTA!
The Unique Benefits of this Condo
We like to think that our unit is perfect not only for holidays, but is furnished to suit those looking for a longer term rental that feels like home. It is well equipped if you like to cook and eat indoors, but is just minutes away from the wonderful restaurants and diners nearby.

This was our first family vacation to the Gulf, and we made a great choice. We loved the location with lots of beaches to explore and great restaurants to the north and to the south. It was very easy to find from the airport. Lots of space and all the kitchen items you need are in the unit. The description and photos are accurate, and working with the owner was a pleasure. Both the unit and the property were clean and well maintained. I would definitely recommend this property to family and friends looking for something in this area. What a relaxing week we enjoyed, watching beautiful sunsets, dolphins just off the shore, and searching for sea shells!

The listing description is very accurate, and the photos are very accurate. The two balcony, two living rooms layout is very unique and a very smart move by the developer. The beach location is great (about the middle of the beach strip of cities), and the pool very nice, also. With just 15 units, it was much quieter than large resorts tend to be. This unit, however, has been our first VRBO dissappointment. Although the pix are accurate, the detail is not available. The unit needs upgrades of all plumbing fixtures, "sliding" doors, kitchen appliances (new cabinets and granite counters would be a very nice upgrade, also), some of the main LR furniture, and the master BR furniture. There are many GREAT restaurants in the area (Keegan's, PJ's, Waltz, Sloppy Pelican, and Crabby Bill's or you can eat in the unit using the full kitchen (Crabby Bill's has a seafood shop next door). There isn't a great deal of activities in the area other than the beach and boating. For kids, the pool and beach would be great, but not much else in immediate area to entertain them. I would stay at this location again , but at another unit until this unit is upgraded.
Owner response:This is the first disappointing 'negative' we have had from a renter after two years of sharing our beautiful beach place with numerous happy vacationers. Our in-house guest book testifies to the many delighted guests who return year after year. We are very familiar with most of the other units and owners in our building and are entirely satisfied that ours compares favorably with these and other beach-front properties - we viewed many, many units before buying at West Coast Vista. Like the other owners, we reinvest constantly to improve and maintain the facilities and furnishings, sometimes having to replace items that go 'missing' too. We would never misrepresent the look or feel of our property - we not only show the maximum number of detailed photos of the unit, we ensure every potential renter is provided with a link to a virtual tour of every room and area of the condo, so I cannot see how we can possibly represent our home any more realistically than we do. The area is a tranquil one with plenty to do nearby if you want to seek it out. We tend to find whether it is families, newly-weds or seniors, the beach, pool, restaurants and general ambience are more than enough to delight visitors on a day to day basis with the added bonus of great places like Busch Gardens, zoos, parks etc all within easy driving distance. Perhaps the most honest recommendation is that we travel across from Europe to stay at our place whenever we can - with our family, friends or just the two of us. We love it!

We spent a week at West Coast Vista 2B in February 2009. The condo is perfect for two couples because not only does it have two bedrooms and two baths, it also has two living areas, two balconies, and 4 TVs. The unit was tastefully furnished and had a nice collection of games, puzzles, books, and beach toys. We especially enjoyed the books on Florida birds. We used it often as a reference to look up the birds we saw on our daily walks.
