My son and I had a wonderful stay at this condo. It was spacious for a one bedroom condo. Cozy and warm setting made for a very pleasant stay. Steam mist shower hit the spot after some long days on the slopes. Location is ideal, not only walking across the street to the chair lifts, but to also catch the bus for the other resorts or to go to the Historical District for shopping and dining. I would strongly recommend this condo and certainly plan to come back once the snow flies again.

Rene's condo. is the ideal home away from home. When we first relocated to the Salt Lake City area, we lived there for a month. It has since become a favorite getaway. Nestled in the heart of Park City, it is within walking distance to Main Street, the ski slopes, and numerous trailheads. The condo. is fully stocked with all amenities one could ask for...a steam room, deep bathtub, cozy king-sized bed and an awesome dining room table with comfy window seats. We often prepared our meals in since the kitchen is fully equipped (plus a grill on the deck) and always enjoyed gathering around the large game table/dinner table. We highly recommend this Park City getaway any time of year!

This was an awesome condo! Perfect location....literally across the parking lot from the Payday lift. We stored our skis and boots at the base of the mountain so we just walked over everyday and picked up our equipment. Park City Sports will store your skis overnight for free and you can rent lockers for $1 a day for the boots. As for the condo itself, it was in great condition. The condo has nice appliances, big screen tv, and a nice bath tub. This was perfect for my husband and I but it would also be great for a small family. The couch folds out into a bed. There is also a garage to park in if you have a car. We had a rental. There were always plenty of spaces to park and we were there during President's Week. We will definitely be back to Park City and to Rene's condo!

My girlfriend and I have stayed in Rene's condo 3 times in the last 3 years. This year when we arrived my girlfriend said, "It sort of feels like the place is ours now." For many years we'd stay in a different apartment each time we'd return to Park City. Each one had a problem that caused us to move on - some were badly built, some far too expensive for what was offered, some were in inconvenient locations. But Rene's condo has it all, which is why we keep coming back. It's extremely well-maintained, clean and well-appointed. The location is great - it's directly across from the Park City Resort, and not far from Main Street. And Rene is a friendly and accommodating owner. You can't go wrong.

My husband and I enjoyed a weeks stay at Renes condo over Xmas. We are not skiers but just wanted to be in the snow. Renes condo was WONDERFUL. It was sooo open and made it feel very big even though it is only a one bedroom. The location could not be better for skiers and non skiers We were able to step outside and basically get the free bus anywhere. We did not rent a car. It is an easy one mile walk into town . Rene was so helpful with everything for us. The condo is completely equipped for all your needs, WE will definitely return again THANK YOU RENE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Our stay at Rene's Empire House condo was delightful. Since we were there for one month in the summer I can't speak for its winter suitability but for our purpose the location was ideal - walkable to the grocery store as well as downtown. We can't overstate what a wonderful place Park City is in the summer with so much to do and see. For a one bedroom unit the condo is spacious and very well furnished. The only thing we could think of that wasn't provided was a non-skid mat for the floor of the tub/shower. If we had mentioned this to Rene, which we didn't, she probably would have told us to go buy one and she would reimburse us. the king size bed was extremely comfortable. The kitchen was especially well equipped and we were particularly pleased by the quality of the cookware. Rene was an attentive landlady, easy to reach and willing to work with us. We will return to Park City next summer and the only reason we won't book Rene's condo again is because we're planning on family and other guests staying with us which requires multiple bedrooms and baths.

Recommended for:Pet owners, sightseeing.

My wife and I stayed at Rene's condo for our annual spring ski trip. We appreciated the convenience of the location with many restaurants, shops, and resorts near by. Being able to park downstairs in the garage and out of the weather was a plus especially during a spring snow storm. We would recommend this condo to any couple looking for a home away from home while visiting Park City.

Our family of 4 had a great time using the condo mid March, thank you Rene! It was so convenient for the Park City resort (the lifts and ski school) and also close to the bus stop for a short ride to the Canyons and Deer Valley (we skied them all). The condo was a good size for spending time in the evenings with a lovely circular dining area. Really well equipped with plenty of gear for cooking and other nice touches like the iPod sound dock and internet access. We would love to return at some point!

Thanks Rene for a wonderful vacation. Your condo is very comfortable and situated in the next best place to ski in/out- straight across the carpark. We managed to get a locker from a skihire in the resort center so we did not have to carry skis & boots and even if we were going to Deer Valley or The Canyons the bus was right outside the resort center. The bus stop on Empire Ave is even closer for shopping, etc. The only negatives were the 2 flights of stairs to the unit but we knew that beforehand. Only time it was a problem was moving in and out. The lovely dining area could do with a bit more light at night. We will definitely be booking our next ski vacation with you!

My wife and I stayed at Rene’s condo at the Empire House condominium for eight nights, from January 30, 2011 to February 7, 2011. We were very pleased with the accommodations and have already asked Rene to reserve our dates to return next year. Empire House is located right across from Park City Mountain, which made getting to the slopes very easy (just walk out the front door, cross the street, and you are there!) In addition, it is on the free bus lines to the other area mountains (Deer Valley and Canyons), with bus stops nearby (or you can catch the bus at Park City Mountain). The unit was well appointed and very comfortable. The bedroom includes a king size bed with lots of pillows; we slept very well the entire trip. There is a TV in the bedroom along with a Game Boy or similar (which we didn’t use). There is ample storage space and a good sized closet. The bathroom was recently redone with a granite counter top, high end sink and full sized mirror. In addition, there is a steam shower (part of a large, deep tub) which felt wonderful after a long day of skiing! The bathroom is well equipped with anything you may need (towels, hair dryer, etc.) The living room included a large, wall mounted, flat screen TV, a gas fireplace, and wired and wireless internet connections. While we didn’t use any of them, Rene has also provided board games for those days when it’s just too bad out to ski (are there ever any such days?) The kitchen was very well equipped and stocked with anything you may need for meal preparation and serving. A full sized washer and dryer was also appreciated, as it meant we didn’t have to pack as much for the trip. We are looking forward to returning next year.

We stayed at Rene's condo for 8 nights over the Christmas Vacation 2010. My husband, 10 year old son and I had a wonderful time. The condo is perfectly situated just minutes walk from the Park City Resort base, it couldn't have been a more perfect location. This is a bigger than average one bedroom condo, in the past we have had tiny one bedroom units but this one is unique in design and very spacious. There is everything you could possibly need in the condo, I have never stayed in one which was so well stocked. I especially loved all the the basic food items which are there for your conveinence, it means you don't have to go spend a ton of money just to get things you might only need a few times. Rene has everything labeled for convenience, she truly makes it all easy. In terms of the kitchen appliances and untensils, the condo has more than I have in my own kitchen! I have to tell you about the new bathroom, when I got there I had a wonderful surprise, the bathroom had been newly renovated with a fabulous steam shower and a soaker tub....this was much needed after a day on the slopes. The king size bed was so comfortable and my son slept well on the sofa bed. The underground parking was very welcome and you never had to get into a freezing cold car. When you consider ski rentals, if you rent from Park City directly (inside the lodge) they have complimentary storage right on the slope....no hauling ski's and also the Snowed Inn Sleigh Ride was a fabulous experience...well worth the money! I hope we will stay at this condo again, Rene's condo and Park City skiing was a recipe for a perfect vacation.

Our stay was just fabulous. The place is clean, open (lots of room for a 1 bedroom) and convenient to just about anywhere with the fabulous transit system. It's right across from the Park City Mountain Resort -- so catching a bus or a glass of wine is a snap! Rene is very personable and you feel like you are staying at a friends vs some rented place. Patio is a sweet way to enjoy the outside and even has a grill! We Recommend Extreme Excursions and Utah Pro Fly fishing!

Our family of three visited this unit the week of Feb. 21, 2010. We have three prior visits to Park City and Rene's is the best location / value we have found. The condo was clean, tasteful and bright, we could not think of anything that could improve our visit. The location was outstanding, I think it took us three minutes to walk to Payday lift, and about five minutes to get to Main Street.

My family and I had a great time. The condo was close to the lifts; a short walk across a parking lot and through the village. It's the closest I've stayed to the lifts. We returned from the slopes to the condo for lunch and a break each day. We usually left our skis at the rental store. The garage parking below the unit was quite convenient. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the clothes washer & dryer were adjacent to the kitchen. The unit sleeps 4 adults comfortably using the bedroom and one fold out couch. The bedroom was comfortable and has a very large walk-in closet. The bathroom had a steam sauna (that I used). The dining table is located (seats 4 - 6) in a large bay window between columns. We enjoyed eating there. The condo heater got ‘stuck on OFF‘ one night, but once we reset it per the instructions, it was fine the rest of the week. Rene was a great, concerned, and caring host. She took care of the financials promptly, and returned our deposit quickly. We definitely enjoyed our stay.

Thanks Rene! Your condo was perfect for our family. It is large and comfortable and is in a fabulously convenient location! PCMR, with skiing, vendors and bus stops, is just across the street. We took (very prompt) buses to Deer Valley and the Canyons to ski there also, and to Main Street and other locations to check out your much appreciated restaurant recommendations. A grocery store is an easy walk, and your kitchen is well equipped. We played hard by day, fell asleep in your comfortable beds on eastern standard time and awoke on mountain time. We had a great vacation!

We've stayed in several places in Park City over the years and I can say that this is easily one of our favorites. We'd noticed the building before, with its distinctive turrets, and when we saw that it was available for Sundance we jumped at the chance to stay there. The unit is located immediately across from the Park City Ski area, and within walking distance to Main Street, so it was very convenient for us. Rene, our host, was extremely accommodating and was always available when we called with (hopefully not too annoying) questions and requests. We would stay there again without hesitation, and we can highly recommend it.

We had a fantastic stay and Renee was a pleasure to deal with. The condo is very well appointed, clean, quiet and comfortable. The location is ideal - just steps to the Park City Mountain Resort, free bus stop and a nice walk into Old Town. The one hint is to leave the bedroom doors open if you don't want to freeze the living room area. The living room area has lots of windows and cools down significantly faster than the bedroom but the thermostat is in the bedroom. Problem was solved by leaving the bedroom doors open. I will definitely stay there again!!!

Even though we had a week of bad weather we still had a blast. The condo is a very unique-remodeled old Victorian house, very spacious, clean & comfortable. My pipe-smoking husband was delighted wih the balcony-he spent many hrs reading & smoking his pipe. When it wasn't raining, we hiked, fished, & played golf. Great location !! Note. Get the Wednesday paper "Park City Record", it has many free/discount coupons at the top restaurants. The Purple Sage was one of our favorites- free dinner with one purchase & only a $5.00 Cork fee.( You can take you own wine to any restaurant in Utah & they will open & serve it for you. Most restaruants house wine is $10 - $12.00 for ONE GLASS. ) Some restaurants have cork fees are as high as $17.00, but you're still ahead & you can take the wine with you. We wined, dined & ate at a top restaurant every night with our coupons. Got 3 great movies with a coupon at Blockbusters. Who says "you can't be frugal & go First Class." My boyfriend and I stayed at Rene's condo from March 2 through March 6, 2009. The condo is truly in a superb location to the ski resort/lifts. Literally, just a few minute walk. It was wonderful. We didn't have a car, but found that the walk to Main Street each night was pretty enjoyable (probably about 10-15 minutes). We usually took a cab home after dinner. Cabs are very easy to find once you are on Main Street in the main district. The condo, itself, was better than we expected. It was a VERY large 1 bedroom, and very clean. Rene's condo overlooks the pool/hot tub of the complex next to hers. So, there is a chance that there could be rowdy people in the hot tub. However, we did not have to deal with any of that. If there was one negative thing about Rene's condo, it would only be that the bathroom was outdated (still clean, but outdated). My understanding is that Rene would like to get that updated. Again, though, the entire place is immaculate, cozy, comfortable, conveniently located, and I would HIGHLY recommend staying here. We had a great time here!!

My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at Rene's condo Feb 21-28, 2009. We just loved the walls of windows, spacious rooms, and well-equipped kitchen. The bed was very comfortable. The linens and bath towels were top notch. We knew from the moment we walked inside (and saw the jar of chocolate kisses on the counter!) that we had found a very special place. We hope to come back next year!

Love,Love,Love the condo! It was exactly what we neededed and were able to comfortably sleep 3. Everything necessary was provided including towels, blankets/sheets,condiments in the fridge,etc. The location was ideal for walking to Main St. and Park City Mountain Resort. I loved my stay at Rene's Condo. Not fancy, but a large and spacious unit, adequately stocked, in a charming Victorian style building. The location couldn't have been better, right across the parking lot from PC Mountain Resort and close to downtown and the grocery store. We brought the kids to the condo for lunch and to warm up after a couple of hours on the slopes. The owner, Rene, was helpful, thoughtful and knowledgable. The next time we are in Park City, I know where we will stay.
