  We had an excellent time staying in this condo for 5 nights in early May. The condo was very large, we never felt cramped at all. The kitchen was furnished with everything we needed, tea kettle, toaster oven, cork screw, glass and plastic wine glasses, ice maker in the frig. The 9th floor balcony gave us a great view!! It was not perfect beach weather, but we still enjoyed the balcony, eating breakfast, sitting and enjoying the view. We saw a pair of dolphins playing and fishing very close to the shore from the balcony one day. The pelicans flew very close to the balcony various times during the stay. The shower is great, lots of hot water and water pressure. The beds were comfortable, no back aches after sleeping. The indoor pool was nice since it was somewhat cool outside and the Jacuzzis were great, since there are 3, we didn’t have to sit with strangers, which was nice. The location is a big + too. We walked to the Flora-Bama next door. There are lots of good restaurants and stores fairly close by also. The covered parking and lots of elevators made it very convenient. We will be returning to this condo again.

  A great first experience renting with VRBO! Condo was clean, well equipped, spacious & inviting decor. A great selection of cookware, stainless & nonstick, even a crock pot! Nice big refrigerator & icemaker kept up with our demands. A pleasant surprise to find a "starter pack" of paper towels, dish towels, dishwasher soap, TP, shampoo & conditioner, hand soap & body lotion. Hairdryers provided! Lots of fluffy towels. The beds were comfy with plenty of pillows. Plenty of hot water and great pressure. New washer & dryer worked very well. Flatscreen TV's in living room & bedrooms made it easy for football fans & golf fans to co-exist. Free wifi did seem rather slow. My husband enjoyed practice napping in the recliner. Balcony well equipped including one lounge chair & built to be private from the peering eyes of neighbors. Lobby elevators are a shorter walk to room! Carts & luggage racks were plentiful. Unassigned parking was great. A nice selection of books & games was available for our enjoyment. We watched every sunrise from the balcony & took early morning walks on the beach to find new treasures. The beach is only a short walk. Dolphins played in front of the condo daily, sometimes for hours. Watched parasailing & jet ski riders. We rented beach chairs & umbrellas for a relaxing day surf side. Renting by the week is a smart idea, WARNING this can be addicting! Both the outside pool & gulf waters were warm. Indoor pool chemical fumes were awful throughout lobby. Weather was perfect, sunny days in mid 80s-60s overnight. Slept with open balcony doors to hear the waves. Our favorite meals were from Gulf Shores Steamers (DELISH) and delivery pizza from Lillian's (EXCELLENT) after a hard day on the beach. Tried the Oyster House, pretty good. We visited Lulu's for some good music (a little disappointed with our food). Had a nice time at Tacky Jacks in the evening, fantastic views! Shopping at the Tanger Outlet Mall was great, wish I would have spent another day there! We were so relaxed we didn't take in all our pre-planned tourist destinations, but there's always next time. We were a little ashamed of ourselves for not getting out on the town Friday night, but it was just too nice and relaxing to leave the condo. . . The only thing I can think anyone might want to bring would be floaties for the pool. Florabama, Waffle House, Happy Harbor restaurant & liquor store are within walking distance.   Just got back from Alabama's Gulf Coast. Family need to recharge from life's busy, noisey everyday stress. Spent alot of hours looking for a place to stay that would be fun and enjoyable and comfortable so each one of us could have some down time. As luck would have it someone's unfortunate cancelation made it possible for us to stay at this very nice place. We opened up sliding glass doors and we could hear the waves of the Gulf breaking on the beach in every room. Spent early mornings dranking coffee on balcony watching dolphins swim down the beach headed for Florida which happen to be right next door. This place was GREAT! Both teenagers enjoyed the place. If you just got to get away and relax and slow down and clear your mind and still let the family have fun? Then this is the place you need to go. If I was there right now, I know what I would be doing early in the morning!

  My wife and I made a last minute decision to take off for Spring Break, we are both college educators, and need a break. When we found our normal place to stay was full, I started looking and found this property. I can honestly say I wish I had found it years ago! The condo had so much more room, and we had a place to work and enjoy the sounds of the surf as we did. The condo was spotless, the bed was comfortable, and was in a great location too. The balcony offered a great view and the beach chair service was also a welcome feature. The owners have a well stocked kitchen and we ate breakfast and lunch at the condo most days. The owner was very quick to respond to my questions and had everything taken care of quickly. We are not big fans of the food in the region but found Cosmo's and Kat's Kafe next to Target to be such a welcome change to the overdone crab boil seasonings so frequently featured in the area. One thing that I found to be unique about this property was the 6 elevators, there was hardly any wait when you were ready go to the pool or beach. Thank you Doug for allowing us to use your condo, we loved it.

  My family really enjoyed staying here last week and was more than comfortable with the three adult beds for four adults and even enough room for an air mattress for two small children. Plenty of outside seating for all as well, spacious rooms and great water pressure, too (usually lacking at the beach!). Beautiful view from the ocean-front balcony and a great time of the year to visit as well without the usual crowds before Labor Day, easy to get around anywhere quickly in Orange Beach. We definitely hope to stay here again!

  Condo was all you could ask for. Great view, large rooms, all the amenities you need at the beach. Can't wait until our next trip.

  Your condo is beautiful, roomy and very comfortable. All our dreaming of having a great time came thru. The management of Phoenix 10 was excellent, so nice and helpful. I can see the expense and time you have put into this condo making it a home and it shows. We are already planning for next year! Being next to the Flori/Bama bar was great, just a short walk. Thank you for everything, see you next year! May 2011 5 nights, couples late 40's/early 50's

  We are totally in LOVE with Orange Beach and REALLY loved this condo!!! We'd live there if we could, but we will settle for just going down as often as we can!!! The condo is spacious and just lovely!!!!

  The condo was perfect. Everything is clean and spacious. The beds were comfortable and so was the furniture. As for the Oil Spill. What Oil Spill. The beaches were absolutely beautiful and we have never seen the water so clear.

  Doug, Your condo was great, very clean, spacious and the view was awesome. We didn't have to bring one thing extra from our house, which was very nice. The staff at Phoenix X were fabulous and extremely friendly and accommodating and to top it off the weather and water were perfect the entire trip. I will definitely recommend your condo to my family and friends and we look forward to going back next year.

  October 19-22 2006 What a wonderful condo!Lots of room and all the comforts of home. My husband and I along with our two sons,daughter-in-law and beautiful grand-daughter truly enjoyed watching the dolphins play in the mornings. After the Alabama game while sitting on the balcony with my 3 year old grandaughter what should start falling from the sky but parachutes. Alexis was yelling for daddy and grandad to come and look and her oh my goodness yells were so cute. Of course grandad and daddy had to be enticed by nanna saying people or parachuting and literally falling in front of our balcany. They became very interested. We counted about 25. This along with blue tide which means lots of shells made our trip complete. Thanks again Paul& Cynthia Burson Phillip & Tina Brothers Scott and Alexis Brothers

  Doug, Thank you for sharing your condo with my family. It was absolutely the best with a fantastic location and gorgorous views in all directions. The kitchen had everything you would possibly need and having lots of patio furniture to enjoy the beach views was wonderful.   Doug, We are so glad that we came upon your website for Condo #903 in Orange Beach. We just returned home today and can't wait to go back again next January to celebrate Doug's birthday again. We had a great time and ate at wonderful restaurants. The condo was so nice and comfortable, the weather was perfect, especially sitting on the balcony drinking coffee in the morning.   Just returned from staying at Phoenix X Unit 903, over the Christmas week-end. The condo was excellent. There was plenty of room for my immediate family. Expecially enjoyed the baloney. Most mornings it was warm enough to sit on the baloney drink coffee and enjoy the sunrise. The sunset was also awesome. This place was a wonderful change for the holiday. It was nice not to fight the crowds. I could see where it would be great during the summer. Check in to it if you're looking for a excellent place to stay.

  WE JUST RETURNED FROM OUR ORANGE BEACH VACATION AT PHEONIX X UNIT 903. OUR VISIT LASTED FROM OCTOBER 8-12. ALL WE CAN SAY IS "WOW"! WHAT A WONDERFUL CONDO. I MET OUR NEEDS PERFECTLY. THE VIEW WAS GREAT. WE SAW THE DOLPHINS EVERY MORNING FROM OUR BALCONY. WE ARE ALREADY WANTING TO GO BACK. THE KIDS LOVED IT, TOO. THIS WILL BE THE ONLY PLACE WE STAY WHEN VISITING ORANGE BEACH. THANK YOU, MR. FIELDS, FOR PROVIDING YOUR CONDO TO US FOR OUR MOST MEMORABLE VACATION EVER.

  I stayed in this unit during the summer of 2004 (my second visit to Phoenix X). I loved it and definately want to go back. The condition of the property, the location and the unit itself are top notch. I have been to a lot of beaches in my time, but I always want to return to Orange Beach/Gulf Shores and the Phoenix X!

  The condo was great-the 3 bedrooms spoiled us. The view was awesome and we slept with the balcony doors open at night so we could hear the waves. We got to enjoy the tennis courts, racquetball court, pools, and hot tub. Thanks for letting us stay at your condo. It was beautiful and we had a great time. I'm sure you'll be hearing from us again next year!

  We really enjoyed our stay at your condo. This was my family's first stay at a condo and at Orange Beach-it was absolutely wonderful. The weather was great; not too hot, not too cold. We will most likely be renting from you again in the future! Thanks again.
