  We stayed at the Grand Champions 17 years ago, and we can honestly say that the complex looks exactly the same. Great care has been taken to keep the Grand Champions looking new and inviting! As far as the unit itself, this was a different unit for us, but it was wonderful. Very spacious, clean, and had everything we needed. Pat was so accomodating and gracious. We appreciated the extra touches such as beach towels, beach chairs and umbrellas and two coolers. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!

  This was our third visit to Maui, and each time our family continues to grow. This trip we came with our three children (ages 3, 7 and 9) in addition to my mother-in-law. The condo was in a good location, and very nicely equipped! it was very roomy, the kitchen had all of the food prep items we needed, and also beach towels, boogie boards, beach chairs, umbrellas, etc. WiFi was a nice plus as well. Can't wait to come back and would have no hesitation staying here again. Mahalo, Pat!

  We stayed in this condo in May of 2011. It is very spacious and nice to have a full kitchen. It is in a very quiet place which made it easy to relax. It is very clean and quaint. It's at a perfect location. Minutes from the beach. We loved it here and hope to go back again.

  My family of four including a teenage daughter and 22 year old son had an excellent time in Maui. The condo was well furnished and equipped with snorkel gear, boogie boards, beach chairs and more. The air temps got got into the low 80s each day and comfortable enough at night to never need the air conditioner. Several beautiful public beaches were located within a 5 minute drive. It all passed too quickly...

  Owner response: I am so pleased that these guests had a wonderful time and found our condo comfortable, well furnished and well equipped. As a clarification, all the beaches on Maui are public and some can be found even closer than a five minute drive. Wailea Beach is located within a five-seven minute walk which translates to just a 2-3 minute drive. All of the hotels in Wailea and a couple of condo complexes front the beaches. Beach access with parking or access by foot can be found between many of these hotels and condos. Just look for signs. :)

  Pat, "Thank you so much..." for allowing our family to stay in your lovely furnished condo at The Grand Champions in Wailea Maui. The condo is beautiful, clean, spacious, well maintained, nicely organized and ready for vacationers to enjoy. We greatly appreciated ALL the amenities you offer (beach chairs, coolers, beach towels, WiFi, ipod station, washer & dryer, etc.) We enjoyed breakfast out on the lanai daily...it was tranquil. We continue to share our vacation at VRBO #216877 with all our family and friends. Our family had a WONDERFUL time at the Grand Champions in Wailea and can't wait to return soon!   This was our second year in a row to return to this beautiful unit in Wailea. Hotel rooms (small ones) in this area easily run $500 and up a night. The unit is wonderfully equipped with every amenity you need to relax, stay cool, swim, lay out, read, cook, etc..... It is BIG: two bedrooms and two full bathrooms. There is plenty of space for your personal belongings. It was nice to have the the washer/dryer right there. The kitchen is connected to the living room with stools. If someone is cooking (which I like to do), they are not separated from the living room. The location is outstanding. It is a two minute drive to two beautiful beaches. One is right in front of The Four Seasons and The Grand Wailea. The other is next to The Marriott. Makena Beach is about 6 minutes away if you want some bigger waves. It's a one minute drive to The Shops at Wailea that has awesome stores and affordable restaurants. Tennis is a one minute walk and the gorgeous Wailea golf courses are three minutes away (I recommend the Emerald or Gold courses). I jogged every morning along the beach between The Four Seasons and The Marriott. PERFECT! The price is right! You can burn through a ton of cash in Maui. We loved having the option of cooking right at home or eating out. The pool (20 seconds out the front door) has two stainless steel built in BBQs where I grilled burgers, steaks, and fish. There is a local Safeway that sells awesome mahi mahji and ono (local fish) at a very reasonable price. One night, my wife and I slipped away for drinks at the Fairmont to watch the sunset (a two minute drive). People think we spend a fortune in Maui, but we don't! We eat, play, and sleep really well! Our kids LOVE the place. Then owners provide boogie boards, beach towels, and wireless internet. The owners are wonderful people that are gracious and fair. We have nothing but great things to say about them. Email responses are prompt and courteous. Deposits are returned quickly. We are already trying to figure out how we can go back next year!

  We had the privilege of staying in your beautiful condo June 2 - 10 and thoroughly enjoyed it! Your condo is so well equipped with dishes, linens, hair dryers, tvs, and fun water toys. Everything was extremely clean and the floor plan has a wonderful flow with the open kitchen, living, and dining area. We enjoyed many meals on the lanai listening to all of the birds as well as a few meals cooked on the BBQ s next to the pools. The grounds are beautifully maintained and the management staff was very friendly and helpful. We hope to have the chance to return again in the future.

  This was the perfect place for our family vacation. There were four adults and two children in our party and we had plenty of room for everyone to move around comfortably. The bedrooms are very spacious, the beds comfortable and the condo well supplied with everything you could need. Thank you, Pat, for the great communication and accommodating our needs. We had a GREAT time!

  My family and I enjoyed your stay at your wonderful condo. It had everything that we needed. The kitchen was fully equipped. We were five in total and there was lots of room for all of us. The bedrooms were spacious. I really enjoyed the Lanai and the gardens. It is a private place and in a great location. We made good use of the beach equipment that you provide such as boogie boards, beach chairs and beach towels. When we return to Maui, we would rent this condo again.

  Your condo was a perfect fit for us. The condo was spacious, clean, and came equipped with more than we could have ever wanted for our stay on Maui. The hostess was gracious and prompt with any and all questions. The garden lanai was wonderful, we had the huge sliding glass doors open almost constantly. The location in the complex was great, just across the driveway from the pool and jacuzzi and just inside the entrance, so it was a quick in and out. Really good shopping and food of all types within walking distance. The beach was a little farther than we would have liked, but there were at least three or more beautiful beaches less than ten minutes drive away. A perfect place for our vacation, we would definitely stay here again. Thanks for everything.
