Our unique second home, which has been lovingly maintained and decorated is available for the first time. The house was originally designed by a chef and is walled in barn board and features an indoor BBQ grill in the kitchen! The Large living room has a cozy feel and is perfect for relaxing in front of the fire or enjoying one of the many board games at the house. We have two children, so the house is kid friendly. Please note however the steep stairs to the loft area, may be unsuitable for small children. There is one king bedroom, one queen bedroom with an additional futon, and five single beds in the loft. There is also a double pullout couch in the living room.
We are located down the street from the extensive VAST snowmobile trail system, hiking and cross-country skiing. Two minute drive to Mount Snow or a short walk to catch the shuttle bus. There are a variety of excellent restaurants in the area, and there is a spa at the Grand Summit Hotel. Further information for all the amenities Mount Snow has to offer can be found on their website.
Within a one hour drive, you can also reach the other southern Vermont ski areas of Stratton, Okemo and Bromley. Extensive outlet shopping is also located in nearby Manchester, Vermont. There is plenty of antique shopping in the surrounding towns as well.
Other local attractions include - Adams Farm (animals and crafts) Boyd's Farm (pick your own fruit), horseback riding, bowling, movie theater, Harrimans lake for boating and fishing, Mount Snow Golf course, White water rafting and fishing on the West River, Mountain biking on Mount Snow.
