This home has a state-of-the-art, custom-designed kitchen, dining room, and living room with fireplace. Step back in time as you enjoy the lake breezes from the wraparound verandah of the Innisfree Manor. French doors lead from the dining porch to the state-of-the-art kitchen, giving you ample space for entertaining. There are decks on the back and front, great for sunbathing or barbecuing. The fireplace, French doors, beautiful bay windows, hardwood floors, and custom staircase all ad to the luxury of this home.
The Innisfree Manor has four full bedrooms and three and one-half baths. This provides comfortable accommodations for 12 people or more. The first-floor bedroom is an especially nice feature for guests who may need special accommodations. The master bedroom includes a private bathroom. There are decks off of two bedrooms. The children's suite has its own TV and VCR. There are three bedrooms with queen-size beds, and one bedroom with eight twin size beds.
This home is a short walk to all amenities with wonderful activities right outside your door. Lake Michigan's Sheridan Beach is a beautiful stretch of white sand with a fantastic view of Chicago's skyline. It is a very quiet beach and it is always meticulously maintained. The resort pool, inland lake, and park are right outside your back door.

The house is actually more updated than these pictures reflect. It is large and clean and really nice. The neighborhood has a great 1950s beach town feel to it with the design and colors of the homes. However, the neighbor right beside this place has 2 pitbulls, which is a little nerve wracking with small children. He also is not overly tolerant of young children. There are several people who live in this community full time and they were all pretty grouchy about kids. The walk to the beach is not exactly "short", but it's not too long either. There is not a lot in Michigan City to do and what few things there are, are rather overpriced. It's not really very "tourist" friendly. If you don't have little ones, and just want a house to hang out in, this is a great place to stay. Just bring extra washcloths.
Recommended for:Age 55+, girls getaway.
