Beautiful and very private post-modern house adjacent to a private preserve. The house is attractively furnished with a combination of modern, resort like furnishings and art. It is airy, spacious and bright.
The living room and formal dining area has a cathedral ceiling, a fireplace and large, high windows. It opens to a huge, wrap around deck and overlooks a heated pool. The adjoining kitchen is fully equipped, has a spacious dining area and also opens to the deck overlooking the pool. In addition, the first floor contains two bedrooms with queen-size beds and a shared full bathroom. There is also a powder room.
On the second level, there is a huge master bedroom suite with a king size bed, an area for breakfast or tea, and a large master bathroom with a Jacuzzi. The bathroom has double sinks and an enclosed shower.
A second room upstairs can be used as a den, fourth bedroom or an office.
The house is centrally located in the Hamptons, convenient to everything. It is less than 5 minutes from ocean beaches and downtown Bridgehampton which has great restaurants, antique shops, a spa, trendy shops and boutiques. It is also close to golf courses, tennis and fitness centers.
The Hamptons is considered to be one of the most desirable resort areas in the world. The beaches are considered among the world's best. In addition to the activities listed below, you can tour several local wineries, attend fund-raising activities and galas, visit art galleries and local craft shows, attend the world famous Bridgehampton Classics Horse Show. There is much happening in the Hamptons during the summer - especially in August.
