Spend your next vacation in Paradise. The Mauna Lani Palm Villas is the newest addition to this Triple A, Four Diamond, World Class Resort. This small, gated community consists of 44 luxury villas nestled between the 18th Fairway of the North Course, the Mauna Lani Spa, Fitness Center, and Racquet Club, and a Historical Preservation area. It is quiet and private yet within walking distance of the beach and all resort facilities.
This 1,304 square foot three bedroom + 2 bathroom queen model sleeps 6. Beautifully furnished in Hawaiian décor, the villa contains everything you need in your home away from home.
The villa boasts a gourmet kitchen with designer cabinets, granite countertops, and modern appliances. A built in gas grill with bar sink, granite countertops, and cabinets on the back lanai makes outdoor dining a pleasure. Nine-foot ceilings and an open floor plan make this unit spacious and comfortable for stays of any length.
This unit offers complete privacy. The lanai backs up on a natural preservation area featuring natural lava and ancient Hawaiian petroglyphs. Beyond the preservation area is the beautiful Pacific Ocean. A path through the preservation area begins just outside the front gate of our complex and leads to the private Mauna Lani Beach Club. If you would rather drive, a key card provides access to the parking lot.
The Mauna Lani Beach Club has white sand, calm waves, and great snorkeling. Enjoy reading a book and watching the surf from your private covered and cushioned chaise lounge. If you are here the right time of year, you may even see a humpback whale breach in the cove. The restaurant at the Beach Club serves lunch, drinks, and snacks so you can spend the whole day enjoying the sun and surf.
If you don’t feel like going to the beach, walk outside the front door of our unit and across the garden and manicured lawn to reach the Palm Villas resort style pool with waterfall and spa. A fitness center and barbecue area is also located near the pool.
If you are a golfer, you will enjoy discounted rates at the two championship golf courses within the resort. There is also a full service pro shop and restaurant available. The views of the ocean are spectacular.
Additional resort amenities 3 miles of oceanfront, and a boathouse offering snorkeling, scuba, sunset cruises, and whale watching. The resort also includes 15 acres of ancient Hawaiian fishponds surrounded by miles of walking/jogging paths, and 2 major hotels featuring 14 separate restaurants
The brand new Shops at Mauna Lani feature a Tommy Bahamas store and restaurant, Ruth's Chris Steak House, Kona coffee, ice cream, a gourmet food market, and a variety of smaller shops, restaurants, and galleries. It is just a short walk from our front gate.
The Mauna Lani Racquet and Fitness Club is located across the road from our complex. It features 6 tennis courts (some lighted), a 25-meter lap pool, weight room, sauna, steam room, and full service Spa.

Our family of 4 (teen and pre-teen boys) stayed here for 6 nights in December 2011 and LOVED it! This was a truly magical spot from the magnificent beach that we could easily walk to and explore volcanic caves along the way with ancient petroglyphs -- to the beautiful peaceful sunsets that were enjoyed on the back lanai. The condo was very clean and well-maintained when we arrived which is very important to me! It had an exquisitely tasteful interior, cozy dining area, a great spacious living room, a large cozy master bedroom and 2 fabulous other bedrooms that the kids felt like heaven in. Great TV's in each room & Wi-fi (no need to say more)!! The well-equipped kitchen that would please any gourmet cook with a great built-in backyard BBQ that my husband thrived in with each use was fantastic. Also, great beach gear that included boogie boards, snorkels/masks, beach bags, coolers, and beach towels. We also found a close 10 min. drive beach with fantastic waves for the kids to use the boogie boards at called Hapuna Beach. Security gates for cars entering/exiting also made the place feel very safe. Great grocery store within minutes of the condo made our stay even more carefree, as did the attentive caretakers. The listing description was very accurate regarding the location. Very helpful owner who answered all of our questions quickly. The attractive photos don't do this condo justice! I can't recommend the spot highly enough for any occassion or in any season. We look forward to returning. What an amazing week at an amazing condo…Thank you!!!

We stayed here for 6 nights in March with 3 kids: 9, 11 and 14. We had many meals on the back lanai - beautiful sunset views. We used the beach toys, boogie boards and snorkel equipment. The unit had everything we needed! The pool was so close - just out the front door and it was a beautiful walk to the beach (10 - 15 min). The kids would walk and we would drive to the Beach Club so that we had the car for the return trip. The beach club was lovely and we could use their chairs and cabanas. Amazing snorkeling right off the beach! We drove into Kailua-Kona for the Fair Winds snorkeling tour - highly recommended! We also drove to the Mauna Kea visitor centre. It's been a memorable trip and I would happily stay here again or recommend it to friends. The rental agent was terrific to work with - and she helped my husband plan a surprise vow renewal ceremony on the beach. Thank you for everything!

We have 2 children (2 and 11 months) and this was perfect for us! We loved the pool nearby and being able to walk to the Mauna Lani pool and the owners beach. We even found time to sneak to the spa next door! We could even walk to the little grocery store and get coffee in the mornings at the new coffee joint. The location was ideal! The furnishing were comfortable and having the w/d was a huge plus with the little ones. The big bath tub in the master bath was perfect for bath time. They loved the little back yard and all the birds and lizards we saw. We used the snorkel equipment and the beach toys - so nice not to have to drag all that! Thanks so much for a wonderful time!

Thank you for sharing your beautiful condo with us. I can't stress enough how perfect its location and amenities are. We could walk to the beach (and Beach Club), the pool, the Mauna Lani spa and fitness center, the Mauna Lani Hotel with its ancient fish ponds and Culture Center, and even the grocery store. We highly recommend the massages at the Spa, checking out what is offered at the hotels Culture Center (especially time with historian Danny Akaka), the lovely walk to the beach and smoothies at the Beach Club restaurant, cooking on the lovely lanai, looking out toward the preserve and enjoying those wonderful breezes or Roy's Restaurant if you don't want to cook (though we did almost every day). We also took advantage of the location to drive to Waikoloa and take advantage of all its amenities and restaurants. We hope to return!
