We have for rent a rustic cottage in the forest in Little Cottonwood Canyon. It is down a private heavily wooded lane and bordered by Forest Service land. This is not a Condo in suburbia. The cottage is almost 100 years old, but has been updated. The bathroom is freshly remodeled with a romantic claw foot tub. It is about 500 square feet with one large room, a small fully equipped kitchen and a remodeled bath. We live in the cabin next door and you can use the hot tub with about 50 feet of walking. The cottage has a large rustic open fireplace and very cute furnishings. A front screen porch could serve for stashing your skis. Snowbird is six miles up the canyon and Alta is eight. A ski bus park and ride lot is within walking distance. It is about four miles down and out of the canyon to a shopping center with grocery, Blockbuster, Starbucks, restaurants, etc. We are below the avalanche gates so you won't get interlodged, but you will be prevented from going up if they close the road. All in all a very cute romantic and unique property.
