This is a beautiful owner-designed house. The rooms flow into one another and have square footage and design that allow a group of people to share without feeling cramped for space. The colors selected for the interior were perfect for me and the furniture is comfortable and attractive. A nice feature is a separate TV room. The house is about 100 yards from a perfect little beach which is framed by the large windows. Ted built in a lot of clever niches in the house (wide window sills, cutouts in walls, etc.) and filled them with his treasures (beach finds, travel souvenirs...) so many, I was still discovering till the end of my stay, and somehow arranged them without the house feeling cluttered. There's an interesting array of books and a well-stocked kitchen which spares you an annoying trip for the soy sauce you forgot to bring. The house is very clean, the neighborhood is peaceful and quiet. It's a rare house I can't find SOMETHING the owner should have done differently, IMHO, but this is one of them.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

The pictures do not do this home justice. The inside of the home looks like it has never been lived in. It has a huge view of the ocean from every room on the second floor. The kitchen is something to envy with everything a gourmet cook would need. I have rented beach homes for many years and this is the finest one ever.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

An amazing house in a glorious place. The house is beautiful - very open floorplan and very peaceful setting. A huge plus was the house is fairly well stocked compared to many other rentals - any and all condiments you could ever need are there, which is nice if you forget to bring a little something. The owner just asks that you replace what you use. The owner was extremely helpful and attentive. As for things to do, just walk the beach people...it is glorious and if you go north up the beach, you can easily spend a whole day on the beach w/out seeing another soul.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We really enjoyed ourselves in the Sea Sanctuary home. Ted the owner was very professional and easy going. The location is what we expected, you cross a rarely travelled road and find yourself at the sea. The photos are accurate, it's a very clean, organized and sunlight open home. Several deer visited us every day and birds were plentiful. The meditation room was a special bonus for us (as was the composting bin for our 5 year old daughter, she loved the responsibility!) Star gazing from the hot tub was unbelievable. Town is a short drive away and has everything you would need. Overall I recommend this property if you are interested in some quiet by the sea. Thank you Ted for sharing your home with us, Namaste. p.s. There is a great sushi place in town on the main road next to homemade ice cream.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

This house is amazing and exceeded our expectations! The upstairs was so roomy we barely saw the downstairs! The dream kitchen was so fun to cook in. The owner was very easy to work with, helpful and accommodating. Would definitely recommend this home to friends and family and plan a return trip! Sitting and sleeping in the window seat was a highlight for our little nieces. Must recommend Cowlick's Ice Cream shop in town--we went there everyday! The setting could not have been better--we all loved our stay.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We found ourselves looking forward to getting back to the house at the end of our days – and it did not take long for us to feel like we were coming ‘home’ each night. The love and attention to detail that was put into the building and maintenance of this house is very apparent. Sitting under the stars, listening to the waves in the hot tub was amazing, and we appreciated knowing that it had been cleaned the day that we arrived. We also appreciated the meditation room downstairs – even just having a meditation room set the tone for the entire house. We especially enjoyed the kitchen, it was a good space to cook in and the cooking tools were everything we needed. On down times, the kids were always hanging out in the nook above the great room, reading or playing board games. The website and list of activities provided were fantastic – we looked into a few of them, although the kids vetoed the horse-back-riding, and we learned that the whales were not yet on their route back yet. The tide pools in the beach directly in front of the house are huge and full of sea life. I can't say enough about how great this trip was for our family. Thanks again for sharing your space. We hope that we will have an opportunity to visit in the future.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Even with such amazing pictures & excellent description, it still does not do justice nor compare to what is actually going on here. The environment & feel of this place was unexplainable yet such the perfect setting to an amazing week. From the moment we opened the door,it was far beyond what I imagined!.All stress dissipated! As we explored each room, nook & cranny like little children at a Forth of July firework display you could hear the "ooos" and "aughs" throughout the house. From the breathtaking view of the ocean to the excellent taste in design, decor and captivating art work this place was absolutely stunning from the inside out.Very much complimentary to what we hoped for... (quality, relaxing time together; enjoying the simple things in life.)With that being said, I discovered the best " sleeping remedy" a cozy little spot in the bay window makes for some of the best peaceful night sleep and highly recommended to anyone staying here.Falling asleep to the sound of the crashing waves IS the natural remedy. And what better way to start the morning than waking up to the most beautiful view of the sun shining on the endless ocean and a friendly neighbor wishing you a good morning while walking their dogs.Stepping out onto the back balcony being greeted by the sound of chirping birds fills the air with beautiful music while admiring a mom & baby deer gathering for their breakfast. This was just a little sample of what the sanctuary exuded! And what a perfect spot it was! We spent a lot of our time being girlfriends here. The hot tub was a very popular spot for doing just that.We each found our place in the home.We played games on the big dinning room table. While one curls up with a book another takes advantage of a long needed bubble bath. The incense gave clue to several of us finding their way down to the meditation room. The smell of delicious cooking mixed with the bonding of lots of laughter and singing could be heard from beyond these doors. We felt very comfortable. The whole entire place was clean and spotless. We indeed made fond memories during our stay.We admire and respect each detail that was put into the balance of the sanctuary, making it so welcoming.Highly recommended to anyone looking for a relaxing roomy environment. You will not be disappointed.Tranquility, peace and relaxation fills each space with reflections of this beautiful sanctuary! The owner topped it off! Excellent communication,a pleasure to work with! Thank you! Thank you!Recommended for: Girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

This place is absolutely beautiful! My boyfriend brought me here for my birthday getaway! I had no idea where we were going and showing up to this beach front house was amazing. It was just the 2 of us in the house for 4 days. It rained while we were there and it was beautiful to watch the rain from inside. We stayed inside almost the entire trip and enjoyed a nice fire. We cooked there rather than going out to restaurants. It was so relaxing and peaceful and so nice to be so close to the water. My boyfriend also surprised me with going horseback riding on the beach which I had been wanting to do for a really long time. The place we went to (I forgot the name) offered a discount since we stayed at the Sea Sanctuary. The hot tub was also amazing. We read Ted's story about his journey building this house and I think he did a great job accomplishing his goals of the house. I couldn't have planned a more perfect trip and we will definitely come back to the Sea Sanctuary.Recommended for: Romantic getaway

Sea Sanctuary is a beautiful house, and the location can't be beat. Views from the house towards the ocean are stunning. The kids were excited to be so close to the beach, and walking distance to a seal rookery. The house is clean, comfortable, with lots of areas for sleeping, and a great kitchen. Ted, the owner, was easy to deal with. We would definitely return to this house.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

great convenient location on the ocean with no worries about the kids crossing the little "road" between the house and the ocean. We vacationed with 3 generations and grandkids ranging from 9 to 15 years old and all found plenty to do. The sunsets from the hot tub can't be beat. The grandkids loved the "eagle's nest" inside, although access to the ladder might need to be blocked off for younger kids . The property was as lovely as it looked in the photos. Ocean kayaking was a memorable experience and safe for all ages. Recommend D'Aurelio's for best pizza ever and the peanut butter pie at Laurel Deli in front of the train station.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

This house has it all. I have stayed at many ocean and beach vacatiion houses and have never been so happy and relaxed. This house is exactly like the description and pictures. It offers the best of many worlds (georgeous views, easy beach access, miles of walking paths, close wildlife, peaceful atmosphere, great kitchen fully stocked, seperate media space, and a hot tub with beach or star views!) The owner was generous and easy to work with, even helping us with planning ahead of time. It had so many lovely touches that realy gave us the feeling of being in a sanctuary. The loft and musical instruments were a hit with everyone, especially the kids. The fireplace and greatroom were spacious and inviting on a cool night. We also loved how amazing the nearly empty stretch of beach was. There was also ocean wildlife right outside the door to explore and view. I will book early and often to come back to this wonderful space!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Wow - what a wonderful experience! This house is extremely spacious and well-maintained. The kitchen/great room/dining room/loft are the heart of the home. We spent quite a bit of time cooking, chatting, eating, and even making music in this area. (Ted has a piano, conga drum, shakers, etc.) Unfortunately, we never took the time to light the beautiful three-sided fireplace, but I'm sure it would be very nice. The front deck overlooking the ocean has the hot tub - wonderful place for a sunset. The back deck with loungers and grill is a perfect spot for morning sun. We really enjoyed our morning coffee and a book out here. There is a nice TV room off the great room with a sofa sleeper and a french door for privacy. The master bedroom/bathroom are filled with light and very spacious, with direct access to the front deck (hot tub). Ted provides a beautiful kitchen with everything you may need. Everything is marked with a label and/or instructions (for example - dishwasher/oven/coffee maker). The large dining table held 8 people very comfortably. There is a welcome letter with information on all aspects of the house - very thorough. The lower level is very large and open. A day bed and futon provide extra sleeping space and there is a queen bedroom and bathroom on this level as well. Behind some lovely Japanese style sliding doors is a meditation room. (could also sleep more people) My girls loved hanging out and playing in this big, open area and we loved having them down one level to cut down on the noise. ha ha. Laundry on this level as well. The location was wonderful. Crossing the road (hardly a car on it), you immediately come to the dunes/beach. Then you cross a wonderfully long, paved trail, and continue on the dark sand beach until you hit the water. About a 10 minute walk to the left is a seal colony - very fun to watch. The views were stunning and walks were wonderful. The house is about a 5 minute drive to Ft. Bragg. We asked someone how to get to Glass Beach (in Ft. Bragg), this was a unique little outing - beautiful area. Further south is the town of Mendocino - which is definitely worth a visit as well. Ted was great to work with, oh and he's a very talented photographer as well. His photos hang on the wall on the lower level - amazing! We left some clothing items in the house and only discovered they were missing after we left. He promptly mailed them back to us and did so at his expense - class act!! Our best!!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

I planned a trip here for my husband and his brothers 31st birthday. we loved this house. the view of the ocean is breathtaking and sitting in the hot tub enjoying the sound of the waves and tranquility of being there was great. It was just what we needed. the beach is literally right across the street and there is miles of it to walk on. the house is a few minuets out of town but close to the state park and horse back riding trails. We loved our stay here and hope to stay here again soon. Thanks again Ted your house is AWESOME!!! This home is a gem! The home is new and beautifully finished -- it has a really tranquil Japanese/Asian style decor with lots of natural wood, bamboo, and some slate. Downstairs are two beds that kids can use in a workout area as well as a separate bedroom. There's room for the kids to play, which is awesome. There's also a little meditation nook and a really nice washer/dryer combo. Upstairs is a beautiful kitchen, a cozy TV room, and a master bedroom, as well as a fantastic viewing area -- including a loft! -- to look at the water, search for migrating whales, and watch the waves crash on the beach. This house has a stunning view of the ocean! There's a small piano and some musical instruments, too, and lots of really special touches. It is just a perfect family place. I can't say enough good things about the owner. He went out of his way to make us feel welcome, including emailing us information about various activities and events in town, and even giving us referrals to service providers (such a masseuse), and he even offered to help get anything we needed in advance. Wow!! The owner lives there normally, so this is really his place (not a generic rental) and it shows! I had one small problem with the hot water heater conking out, but the owner had left his phone number and a quick call to him let us diagnose and fix the problem instantly -- he was super responsive and was able to talk me through how to reset the heater and get everything working just fine. We did notice the tap water had a little sediment (brownish color) in it (perhaps due to super heavy rains while we were there?) so we ended up drinking bottled water during our stay, but otherwise this was absolute perfection! I can't say enough good things about this home and the owner! First rate!! Fort Bragg is a wonderful coastal community just north of Mendocino with some neat beaches, coastal walks, the Skunk Train, Glass Beach, etc. We have relatives in Fort Bragg, too, so visit often -- we were looking for a really nice place to stay with our family (including two kids). Note: the home is great for kids, but not baby-proofed; probably best for 3+ yrs. It's about a 10 minute drive south to downtown Ft. Bragg, but it's worth the extra trip for the great view and tranquility provided by this location. We will definitely look to stay here again on our next trip to Fort Bragg! I highly recommend this home to others -- it was one of the best VRBO experiences I've ever hadRecommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
Owner response: Good point on the baby-proofing! Since reading this response, the home has been baby-proofed with all household cleaning products safely tucked away out of reach. I haven't noticed any brown-sediment in the water since returning to the home after their stay. The home is on well water, but there are multiple treatment/filtration systems before the water reaches the tap. There is yet one additional filter on the water dispenser on the refrigerator should water quality remain a concern. Thanks for the feedback!

Even though I'm privileged to reside in the incredible city of San Francisco, I love to travel as often as possible: paris, venice, moscow, berlin, the bahamas... the skies the limit. But to this day I've never experienced such a genuine state of rest in both my body and mind then I found while staying at this particular piece of property. My girlfriend and I stayed for a brief two day weekend but left as if we caught up on months of much needed rest. If you're seeking a truly memorable getaway where you can walk the coast by day and gaze at the crystal clear sky at night then this is the place for you, and if you're anything like me and tend to lean toward large international cities to visit, take it from me, you'll be pleasantly surprised by choosing this beach front house in California.Recommended for: Age 55+, girls getaway, pet owners, romantic getaway.

This custom home is exceptional and even better than described. Every detail inside and out is a beautiful site. There are so many windows overlooking the ocean view. You have to turn your head a full left to right to enjoy the entire scenery. The decor expresses relaxation, peace and harmony. Its location is very close to downtown Fort Bragg. It was a joy to return home to this house after sightseeing. We felt we were the luckiest visitors in the Fort Bragg/Mendocino area because of this home. Very clean, bright and spacious. The owner's thoughtfulness and care to this home is superior. Would definitely return to stay there again and recommend this to others. We just returned from our second stay in Ted's house, and we had another fabulous time! The house is beautiful- it's actually even lovelier than the pictures show. The house is spotlessly clean, with plenty of towels and linens, and a full stocked kitchen. Our kids (four of them between the two families) love the loft, the cozy den for tv watching, and the large living space downstairs. The location couldn't be better- you can hear the crashing of the waves and it's just a short walk to the beach. At the end of the day, we enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub on the deck. There is also the trail/paved road along the beach, which is great for walks and bike riding. Although there are many attractions in the Ft. Bragg area, both times when we have stayed in Ted's house, we haven't driven anywhere!! Ted is very easy to work with- he answers emails promptly and is very accomodating and helpful. I have stayed in many houses through vrbo, and this house is, without a doubt, the best. We are already looking forward to our next visit!!!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We Stayed There and were GREATLY Disappointed! The house it NOT at all as it appears in the pictures! When you first walk in Downstairs it is unfinished with NO furniture and VERY unattractive, Only a very uncomfortable old futon downstairs. There in 1 very very small room to watch TV upstairs, but only about 4 people can fit in that room at a time! The WiFi does not work either. The House was Dirty when we arrived and just over all a bad experience. We rent in Fort Bragg Often and this house was by far the worst we have ever been too!Owner response: I was disappointed to see this review as I take the management and the condition of the home very seriously. These particular tenants had caused some damage to the property during their stay, and when I tried to contact them to inform them of what I had found, instead of responding to me directly, it appears they chose instead to post this negative review, the only one of all reviews to date which is not a 5 star review. To respond specifically to their points, the main room downstairs indeed has very little furniture as it instead has a large open area which is described in the listing as a photography gallery/open exercise area. It is a great space for doing yoga or other exercise, or for children to play away from the adults upstairs. It is not designed to be a second formal living room. The den is described in the listing as a smaller room (it is 11x17) and has a 9' sectional sofa for TV viewing. In my opinion, having the Television separate from (although attached to) the living room allows for serenity in the remaining living spaces for those who would prefer listening to the sounds of the ocean while on vacation. The wi-fi has gone out in the past at times so perhaps their stay was one of those times. Had they contacted me, it might have been easy to rectify during their stay. The wi-fi worked immediately before and after their stay, however, and in fact I am posting this response using the wi-fi connection. As to the overall cleanliness of the house, myself (the owner) and another person spent nearly 7 combined hours in cleaning/preparing the space for this group's arrival. We use a checklist to make sure things aren't overlooked. I can't swear that everything was perfect, but we sincerely strive to prepare the space to be in lovely condition for guests' arrival.

Without a doubt, this home is the perfect ocean retreat for anyone needing a rejuvenating get away. The photos provided truly understate both the magnificence of this home and the splendor of the location. The home is an exquisite example of true craftsmanship and is beautifully maintained. The splendor of the surrounding property remains in its native state and the back deck is the perfect location for observing the numerous birds, deer, and other wildlife that inhabit the grounds. An unobstructed view of the ocean and exquisite sunsets can be enjoyed from the warmth of the fireside living room, the pillow-lined bay window, or the loft overlooking the kitchen/living room area. Artifacts from world travels are gently tucked into the quiet nooks throughout the home, and incredible black and white photographs present a gallery of some of life’s most beautiful moments and people. This ocean retreat provides a meditative and serene atmosphere for reading, resting, and revitalizing the human spirit. From our first inquiry through the balance of the stay, Ted responded immediately and addressed all questions and concerns. We actually had the pleasure of meeting Ted during our stay and found his home to be a reflection of his kind and gentle soul. We look forward to future vacations in this true sanctuary.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We spent a magical four days at Sea Sanctuary in June. Our party consisted of three adults, a teenaged girl, and a pre-teen boy. We were blessed by beautiful weather for the whole visit. The house was exactly as it had been described to us. It was also exceptionally clean and lacked nothing that we needed. The kitchen is wonderfully appointed, and we enjoyed cooperating in the preparation of a series of great meals. We had brought all our own groceries, The only utensil we missed was a wok, but we had one with us (!). I confess that we did use a few of Ted's spices - nice collection in the second drawer on the left of the stove ;-) After dinner the first evening, we adjourned to the hot tub. Maybe some plastic wine glasses would be a nice addition, but we coped nicely with the exceptionally fine ones in the kitchen cupboard. This established a nightly ritual of watching the sun set and then turning on the hot tub lights and lazing in the rapid onset of darkness. My wife and I had the upstairs bedroom and really liked the sliding doors that allowed us to drip our way to the well-appointed bathroom after soaking. The huge open space downstairs adjoining the meditation space was the scene for some wonderful morning yoga sessions, and the equipment stash was greatly appreciated, even though we had our mats with us. The house has at least a dozen places where one person or two or three can be together while away from the others in the party, which helps wonderfully to maintain the sense of peace that the house's design helps one feel. The meditation space was special. A rare addition to most western houses, it was delightfully Japanese with overtones of Ted, who is something of an eclectic soul. Just down the beach, the seals that hang out on a huge offshore rock had recently given birth to some pups, and we used the house binoculars to bring them into close view. There was even mystery: the most curiously powerful smell of honey just as the trail takes off to the seal viewing area, for which none of our party could identify a source. Ted has promised to try to identify it. In sum, This is a magical place, well appointed, delightfully located, and was a perfect place to spend time among people we love.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

This home is not only immaculate and beautifully designed, it is also comfortable. It felt like home away from home, but better! For those who wish to experience the best of the north coast, this would be the spot. Located north of Ft. Bragg on a glorious 10 mile stretch of beach that is little known (espcially the further north you walk), it is a magical place to be, whether it is stormy and the waves are crashing or sunny with herbed breezes. Come here to be inspired and to breathe a little more deeply.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

I highly recommend this property to anyone wanting to get away from the stresses of everyday life. It is situated off a road that see's little traffic, in a meadow frequented by deer, with an ocean view that takes ones breath away, not to mention the beautiful sunsets every evening. We enjoyed a long weekend reconnecting with family and celebrating our mom's 80th birthday. The house is first class with a large gourmet kitchen that opens to a spacious great room with a wall of windows overlooking the Pacific. The ocean is just steps from the door. The bedrooms are comfortable and beautifully furnished. The hot tub is situated on the upper deck overlooking the ocean. The owner has poured his heart into the designing and building of this home and it shows! Thank you for sharing it with us.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

What a beautiful house!! It absolutely exceeded our expectations, in every way possible. Although there are only two official bedrooms, the house is very spacious, with lots of optional sleeping areas (the den, the large living room area downstairs, the meditation room). It is tastefully decorated, and is a very peaceful and comfortable house. The location couldn't be better- you are literally across the street from the beach and the long paved walking road along the ocean. It's a great house for kids as well, and our kids loved playing in the loft! Before our stay and during our stay, Ted promptly answered all my questions. It's rare to find a vacation rental like this one- beautiful yet cozy. I would highly recommend it, and we will absolutely be back there again!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We had a fantastic stay with friends and family. This is a very personal home we felt as if we knew the owner Ted for years. The house is set up perfectly with just enough private space and room for togetherness. The best place I have stayed in on the north coast, even the kids felt welcome with the board games and stuffed animals. This is one of those rare homes on the beach in Fort Bragg. Our mornings were spent walking on the beach with a cup of coffee while the kids explored the dunes. Next time we will bring the bikes. The kitchen was perfectly stocked, each night someone else cooked a fabulous meal for the group. We toasted Ted and ate beautiful bowls of cioppinno with the windows open to hear the surf crashing below and the fireplace to warm us. After we tucked the kids in downstairs we headed to the hot tub to stargaze with a glass of wine. The heated floors were delight on my toes as I headed off to bed. Can't wait to go again!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

What a wonderful place to hold a working retreat. From the first inquirey into the property to receiveing the deposit refund the process was seemless and the owner very helpful. All that was advertised, the amenities, the photographs, the location was true to discription. The house it self is a masterpiece of workmanship. Members of our staff who were private contractors before working for a Park and Recreation Agency were highly impressed with the workmanship and detail. The rooms and common spaces were ideal for conducting the different workshops. I would recomend this property to anyone visiting the area. If the oppertunity arises, we will be back next year!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We had the pleasure of staying at the Sea Sanctuary 9/11/09 thru 9/14/09 for my daughters birthday. The Sea Sanctuary is Peaceful, Serene,Powerful& Humble.Rarely is a home of this caliber available as a rental. It is family friendly, and we spent many hours walking up and down the beaches, collecting seashells and seeing the jellyfish. The hot tub was fantastic, and my daughter had a birthday that she will never forget.Thank you again Ted, for sharing your magnificent home with us and many blessings to you!Did you find this review helpful? When you think about visiting the coast, you always imagine an ocean view, easy access to the sand and surf, a wonderful place to walk with the sound of the waves, the gulls and the wind as a background. Sea Sanctuary is everything you imagine. I had a glass of wine in the hot tub while a friend cooked beautiful food in the great kitchen just steps away. Nothing was missing. We're going back.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 2/2

Thank you so much for allowing us to share in your beautiful home, it was a perfect honeymoon for me and my wife. We enjoyed every moment in your home(beautiful, warm and cozy) and the time we shared together allowed me to get even closer to my new wife and share those moments you remember forever. When we arrived (at night) we both were amazed how many stars were in the sky. The sounds of the waves crashing, all the stars in the sky...it was all breathtaking. We hope your travels have gone well and that you're safe. We hope to come back in the future. Thanks again Ted for a wonderful time! Ernie & Ivy P.S. Thanks for having the hot tub! ;)Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 2/2

This place is awesome inside and out. The view from the hot tub is truly amazing, and the elevated deck in the back is a great place to soak up the morning sun. The living quarters up stairs in front of the wall size windows puts the view of the ocean right in your lap. A two minute walk gets you to the beach trail where we walked for hours during our vacation visit. Seven days was not long enough, so we will have to come back again.Did you find this review helpful? Our stay in the Sea Sanctuary was wonderful. We do not get away from home very often, so our three days at this beautiful home was truly an escape. The home was so comfortable. Cooking in the large kitchen was the best. The house is so close to the ocean and being on the second floor, what a wonderful view. And yes, the hot tub was great too. It may be awhile, but we will go back. Thank You!!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 2/2

We just returned from our 4 day stay and it was fabulous. There is a gorgeous view from every room! The jacuzzi you can watch the waves crash up on the rocky coast. I especially loved the reading alcove(I could cozy up with my book, read, and watch the waves crashing at the same time)! The home is open and warm, with the kichen in the center so the chef doesn't miss out on any of the fun. The beach is so close we walked to it 3 or 4 times a day.We can't wait to go back!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 2/2
