We stayed in this apt. for 8 days and enjoyed every minute. The location is ideal, everything worked well and the owner was remarkably available, helpful, happy to answer a variety of questions. We would not hesitate to rent the apt. again when we return and recommend it to travelers looking for a comfortable, enjoyable time.
Recommended for:Sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+.

Just returned from my trip to Israel and my family really enjoyed staying in this apartment. It's so centrally located that you can get to anywhere in minutes! Over our two week stay we walked to the old city (kotel), Ben-Yehuda St, The Central Bus Station, etc. The famous Mahane Yehuda market is literally a 2 minute walk! The owner, Steven, is extremely helpful and accomodating. I will gladly stay there again!
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.

Great location for those who like to walk and sightsee. My wife and I stayed a week in September 2010 and had a great time. We were in walking distance to the Yehuda Market (100 meters), Main shopping area off of King George Street (300 meters), Jerusalem Central Bus Station (500 meters), Old City Jerusalem (1+ kilometer), Knesset (1+ kilometer). Liron was our hostess and she was wonderful. She helped us in our every need and took care of us like family. If you want to be around the local people and like to take walks day or night this is the place.
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

This apartment turned out to be absolutely ideal for our needs. It was a block and a half from the Mahane Yehuda (the Shuk), 2 blocks from Ben Yehuda St, and 2 blocks from Yaffa St. It could not have been more convenient to bus lines, a wide variety of restaurants, and shopping for every conceivable want. Steve and his wife were very accomodating and responsive, and a great resource for all kinds of questions. We will return again to stay here when we are in Israel in the future.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway.

We just returned from 6 nights in apartment 2. The apartment was comfortable and very attractive. There was a king sized bed and a small second bedroom for 1. Everything worked well, the TV, the internet connection, the heat, the shower. The nighborhood is great and the area is safe. We highly recommend this apartment. Also, the owner was easy to work with and his contact in Jerusalem was very helpful. As a warning, as you walk to the apartment it might seem a little sketchy - it is in an alley - but just wait until you get settled and the area will reveal itself to you as friendly and full of great shoppping and eating.
