Our "Boanna Cottage" is the ideal getaway vacation for nature and recreation enthusiasts alike. Set in a tranquil and beautiful forest setting, our cottage has been tastefully decorated and fully appointed for your comfort. The cottage features a spacious living/dining area, a master bedroom with queen size bed and a second sunroom bedroom with queen size bed, closet and adjacent office space. The forest views from the sunroom windows afford the opportunity to spot deer which frequent the property grounds.
Enjoy swimming, fishing, boating, water skiing and kayaking within minutes of the cottage. Bring along your boat! The Lake Thunderbird and Lake Sequoyah marinas are a 5 minute drive from the cottage. You will also find a lovely swimming beach on adjoining Lake Sequoyah.
Need even more recreation? Cherokee Village offers numerous amenities...including two championship golf courses, lighted tennis courts and six outdoor swimming pools (including one for adults only). The nearby Spring and South Fork Rivers also offer excellent fishing, boating and kayaking opportunities.
Of course, coming to the Ozarks must include a day (or more) in Old Town Hardy…..just 10 minutes away! Hardy is renowned throughout the country for its numerous Ozark Mountain handcraft and quilt outlets, along with antique shops and quaint cafes.
A trip to Blanchard Caverns is a MUST DO! These caverns are spectacular and will be a memorable part of your visit to the Ozarks. Nearby Mountain View and the Ozark Cultural Center will round out a wonderful day! The Caverns lie about 2 hrs. South of Cherokee Village and your drive will take you over some of the most beautiful Ozark Mountain roads you will ever see!
