We had a wonderful vacation with extended family. We had 11 people -house was very well stocked and luxuriously appointed. Very close to moonlight basin and Big Sky skiing. Very helpful owner. Need to follow driving directions to the letter. Definitly need 4 wheel drive/snow tires.Easy to drive to Yellowstone-not far from Bozeman. Beautiful views. We went snowmobiling in Yellowstone, took a snowcoach tour, skiied, went dogsledding, did a sleigh ride dinner, snowmobiled outside park. Would recommend this property highly with no reservations. We took our kids to the dinosaur museum in Bozeman.

Crooked Creek Ranch provided a wonderful home base for our recent trip to Montana. The property provided breathtaking scenery and first rate accommodations! The home was warm and inviting and tastefully decorated; the gourmet kitchen was a delight to cook in; the beds were heavenly and the huge, wrap around deck provided endless hours of wildlife spotting and star gazing! The hot tub and pool table provided a perfect end to each night. The owner was great to work with and he truly took a personal interest in ensuring our stay was special. We've only been home a week, and we are already daydreaming of returning!

We learned of Crooked Creek Ranch through my brother Doug (who had stayed here with his family last year) and were not disappointed by his recommendation! Crooked Creek is packed with every amenity a vacationing family could want, offers unbelievable views of Lone Peak mountain and the Beehive Basin, and is located in Yellowstone country where there’s an unlimited supply of family activities. In a week, we managed to tackle whitewater rafting, hiking, horseback riding, the bungee trampoline and scenic chairlift at Big Sky resort, and the mandatory trip to beautiful Yellowstone park. There’s also a wonderful array of restaurants and fine dining available in Big Sky. In particular, we enjoyed an evening of cocktails and dinner on the terrace at Moonlight Basin…while also making Lone Peak Brewery our favorite hang-out for lunch and Happy Hour. However, our favorite part was just spending time with family at Crooked Creek Ranch. This house could easily accommodate three or four families. We really enjoyed grilling steaks and burgers while hanging out by the fire pit (or in the hot tub) under the starry sky. In addition, our kids (ages 5 and 7) loved sleeping in bunk beds, playing pool in the game room, and watching movies in the home theater. If you’re looking for a great family adventure then I would definitely recommend Crooked Creek Ranch. We will be back again – next time for skiing!

Our large group of 15 stayed very comfortably for a week at Crooked Creek. The layout is perfect with a spectacular view from every room and every window! The kitchen was awesome with all the amenities. We truely could not have asked for a more perfect place! The hospitality and thoughtfulness of the owners cannot go unnoticed and is greatly appreciated! I would happily recommend this gorgeous home to anyone!

Thanks so much for allowing us to stay at Crooked Creek! Unbelievable views and accomodations. This is one of the finest properties we've ever rented and our group has been doing this for over 15 years. Nothing better than sitting in the hot tub at the end of the day and looking out over the Beehive Basin at Lone Peak! Truly amazing experience... and the kitchen is incredible! We've already booked for next year, and we typically don't repeat resorts from one year to the next.

My family, as well as my sister's family and our father and mother all stayed an extremely comfortable week at Crooked Creek Ranch. With ample luxury and space, we enjoyed skiing Both downhill and Xcountry right out the back door) in a foot of fresh powder then coming home to stunning views, cooking in a gourmet kitchen, hot tubbing and hanging out around the "cowboy cauldron" (which kept us amazingly warm...even in 3 degree weather.) The owners are very nice and were accessible throughout the stay for any questions. They are also very helpful and anxious to address any needs renters may have. Unlike many world class ski areas, the community is welcoming, helpful and entirely without a negative attitude. All and all, Crooked Creek is an exceptional place to stay in an exceptional community with too many things to do in too little time. We LOVED it and can't wait to return.

As you begin your ascent towards upper beehive basin and see the impressive Crooked Creek House high on the mountain in the distance, you think to yourself, "That can't possibly be the house we've rented. No way." We ski a lot and have rented tons of mountain homes, and we can say, that without question, the Crooked Creek House is the most impressive we've ever seen. From virtually anywhere on the property you will be treated to near-panoramic views of the valley and peaks across the way and the raw beauty of the Spanish Peaks that are very near. The interior of the house is rustic but luxurious. Nice rough stone and wood finishes abound. The layout is great for a family or as it was in our case, a large group of friends for our Big Sky Wedding. The listing details and photos were spot on and the owner was very helpful in answering any and all questions we had. Another plus about the house is the extensive network of trails practically right out the back door. Endless days of hiking await. We give the house a 10 for location, cleanliness and layout. The only negative we can think of was that the hot tub had not been adequately serviced and stopped working our 3rd out of 5 days there. As the location is up windy mountain roads, we wouldn't recommend the house if you do not have a vehicle for your stay in Big Sky and make sure to rent an SUV in winter! Nonetheless, we would definitely go back and will recommend the house to family and friends for years to come.

We stayed here in mid-March and had a fabulous trip. The house is incredible, positioned with beautiful, open views of both Beehive Basin and Lone Peak. The views make the hot tub one of the best apres-ski spots in big sky! Moonlight Basin was a great place to ski, with no lift lines and a great lodge. Yellowstone is also not far, so we did a snowcoach tour & got a great winter view of the park. Would highly recommend this rental - and hope to be back in the summer with the property bordering national forest & trails.

Our ski group just spent 4 luxurious nights at the Crooked Creek Ranch. The accomadations were absolutely first class. The cabin also came equipped with every thing imaginable to make our trip more comfortabe. The owner checked in with us before, during, and right after the trip to make sure all our needs were being met. Every single party in our ski group was 100% satisfied with our stay at the Crooked Creek Ranch and would reccommend staying there to anyone.

I have been skiing for 45 years and have skied most major areas in North America. The Crooked Creek Ranch at Beehive Basin at Big Sky is one of the best experiences I have had. The house is truly amazing, with every amenity imaginable. It is spacious and luxurious. There are no neighbors within sight or sound, and the mountain scenery is spectacular. The skiing at Moonlight Basin and Big Sky was awesome, and we never waited in any lift lines. I highly recommend this experience.

We highly recommend this property. The home and property are by far the most beautiful that our family has rented in the past 14 years in Big Sky. The house is gorgeous and there are spectacular mountain views from every room. You won't be disappointed.
