My 1600 sq. ft. Florida style townhouse/condo has 1 balcony viewing the best Gulf Coast for beautiful moon lit nights and long sunny day's on our white beach. This townhouse/condo is 2 stories on the 4th and 5th floors facing the beach. Their is an elevator. On the main floor is a full kitchen, dining room living room combo with access to the balcony for beach viewing. What a wonderful veiw this is! Also on the main floor is a 1/2 bath.
On the second floor there is 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths and a walk in laundry room. We have a wonderful pool which over looks the inter-coastal water. Where you can swim in the pool and watch the seagulls pass you by. This condo is in walking distance to (same side of street)a new Publix's grocery store. Key lime pie at this grocery store is to die for.
1 1/2 miles north of the condo is a place called John's Pass. John's Pass has everything you need for a vacation while in Florida. Shopping, resturants, water sports of all kinds and much more. We are 30 mins. west of Tampa airport, 1 hour and 20 mins. from Disney (which isn't a bad ride at all), and 5 mins. north of St.Pete's beach. You can't find a more central area than Treasure Island, Fl.
If you fly into Tampa and you don't want to rent a car, take the airport limouzine buss shuttle service right to my front door for a few $'s. A 30 minute trip, 24 hour service that the Tampa airport offers. Book ahead! Then take the Treasure Island trolly around everywhere you need to go. This is what I call easy!!!

Why the Owner Chose Treasure Island
I vacationed in this area with my parents when I was 15 years old. I fell in love with this area because of it's simplicity, and said one day I would return. We have vacationed at my husband's friend's condo for a few years and when the condo next door was for sale we bought it. The beach was and is the biggest beach that I've ever seen, and the sand is so white. Can you just imagine digging your toe's in the sand on your beach towel listening to the waves hit the shore? The sun is so warm hitting you. Do you know where your flip flops are? My condo is so close to the beach that you don't need a car to get there. Walking to everything is convenient and recommended. When you have kid's, and everything you do, you don't need inconviences. This area is as simple and beautiful as it gets. The new Publix's grocery store is one block away, how easy is that! The pool that over looks the inter coastal water is sweet. Lay on your raft and watch the seagulls pass by, and do nothing. I can't be at this condo on the beach as much as I would like, so, I would like to share it with you. Everyone need's relaxation as much as possible, it's what we work so hard for. This condo is in a layed back area, nice and relaxing!
The Unique Benefits at this Townhome
Our condo complex (Gulf to Bay Lagoons) doesn't have alot of amenities other than a pool. Isn't the beach what your coming to Florida for? I call my condo my home base. Out side of the condo complex you have everything you can think of doing, busy, busy! Returning to the condo say's to me, slow down and relax. It doesn't have alot of people traffic. At some point on your vacation you need to slow down to feel it's going to last longer. This is the place for you. My condo is all open, light in color and it has a feeling of tranquility and a view of the beach and sunset to die for. You can see everything and everyone from my patio on the fourth floor. From watching dolphins in the early morning to watching weddings at sunset, you see it all!!! My condo is also close to John's Pass just 1 1/2 miles north of the condo. You can do everything like parasailing, deep sea fishing, a four hour cruise, jey skii, rent a boat, restaurants, mega shopping and tiki bar's for night time entertainment. Also in the area is, miniture golf, fast food, a candy store, Publix's grocery store, Chocolate by Joe in St.Pete's, ice cream shops a board walk, more tiki bars, and other restaurants, a Cuban sandwich shop(the best) and lot's of little Florida souvenir shops. It's also 5 min. north of St.Pete's beach and 1 1/2 hour from Disney, 30 min. from Tampa airport. My condo is pretty central to alot of fun things to do.

Just returned from our stay at Sue's condo and we had an absolutely wonderful time. The condo is exactly as advertised. We found it very clean, spacious and in a nice quiet building. The pool area is wonderful and my daughter loved the dock on the inter-coastal at the back of the property for watching the fish and the dolphins. The beach was right across the street and was beautiful. Everything you need in the area is all within walking distance including grocery, restaurants etc etc. we walked the beach to John's Pass several times and it is a beautiful area. Our family had a blast and will be back. Thank you Sue

We arrived from TN on September 24, 2011 and left the next Saturday. We always rent from VRBO and this is th BEST condo we have ever stayed in. It was very spacious, clean and quiet. For the entire week we were the only family at the pool. It is a walk across the street to the beach but so worth it. The view from the condo is spectacular. We had beach chairs, umbrella and beach toys for my son provided by Sue. This was such a bonus. I can not say enough nice things about our experience. We were very pleased with the condo. Everything was perfect. If I HAD to change anything maybe make the arrival time a little earlier like 2:00. I will recommend this condo to everyone and I look forward to booking next summer. My husband and I and our daughter and son-in-law stayed at this condo during the week of August 11 - 17, 2011. Pros: The view from the balcony of the beach was great; although the beach wasn't as close as the picture showed in the listing. The condo was large and spacious. Condo complex pool was nice with a bay view. Restuarants nearby. Trolley nearby. Cons: Biggest complaint is that the master bedroom was uncomfortably HOT. This being in part because that is on the side where the sun sets. Also, the exhaust fan in the master bathroom wasn't working, so any moisture from a shower made the bedroom hotter. Windows were single-pane which allowed more heat and noise from the busy street below to enter the master bedroom. The condo thermostat in the living room area downstairs read "Never put air below 75 degrees - it freezes up". So, the master bedroom was never cool, even during the morning. The whole condo became very uncomfortably hot during the hours that the electricity was disconnected. The shower head in the second bathroom wasn't spraying much, so we ended up just using the one shower (4 adults) for the time we were there. Also, there was a notice that read: "Please - Replace what (soaps, etc ...) you use. Thanks." So, if you were flying and couldn't bring any incidentals like toilet paper, bath soap, hand soap, paper towels, garbage bags, dishwasher detergent, etc., plan on adding extra money to the cost of your stay to replace these items, and having to leave the extras there. The owner did deduct $100 for our inconvenience and also stated that "it is August and everyone knows it is hot". Granted, it is hot in August outside, but I don't expect that to be the case when there is air conditioning inside.
Owner response:I would like to thank this person for such a negative comment that they felt they needed to post it even after we had this situation worked out. Yes I did forget to pay my electric bill. An honest mistake that was fixed immediately! I also gave her money back for that day. She also complained as stated about the master bedroom heat. Yes this is true. The room faces the beach area and we are under a tar roof so this room more than the other gets warmer in the summer. I have had air conditioning companies out to try to fix this problem and because of being under a tar roof the work can't be done. So through the years I've had free standing air units in that room. Unfortunately people do steel. I have another air conditioning unit again going in the master bedroom. I will raise my refundable security rate because of this issue. I do apologize to the new viewers who are reading this. I have worked vary hard in this condo for people to have a nice vacation and can only hope that new renters use great judgment when reading her comment. I can promise to new and old renters that this situation has been fixed. Thanks you for your patients and understanding.

When my husband began looking for a place my family could take a vacation together he found this one. As he spoke with the owner, Sue Meyer, he knew right away we wanted to stay in her condo. She was great to talk to and answered all his question fully. The listing on the property was perfect. The photos you see are exactly what the condo looks like. It was so clean and every thing ready for our use. My husband, my self, my three grown children and my son-n-law had a blessed time. It is great access to many restaurants, stores, beaches, and the most beautiful sun sets you could ever ask for. Johns Pass is just down the road with the best shops. We loved Bubba Gumps. If you love smoked mullet then you must try Ted Peters in South Pasadena. Truly all I can say is I can't wait till next summer to be here again. We all had a blast. I could stay in this condo every summer for the rest of my life. GOD IS GOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Owner response: I try to keep my price low. If you look at VRBO my condo is priced really low for the size. I try to give a fare deal to everyone. Yes, I did overlook my electric bill. Who is perfect? That has only happened to me once in the three years of renting the condo. When I first started renting my condo I asked renters to replace what few items that I already had in there to keep my rent low. Two years ago I dropped that condition with my renters. I now give my renters those few thing just to get them started on their vacation. My mistake in not finding that note that Tammy is talking about. I live in Missouri not Florida and can't see everything that happens there. I ask my renters not to put the air below 75 degrees as a guideline. August is the hottest month of the year. If you have to put the air on 70 degrees I can handle that. It's those who put it on 50 degrees that causes me to call a repair man. In short I have had some awesome renters. I can't please everyone but I will do my best to work with you on a problem if one happens, but belittling me Tammy, really? I have over 100 great references if any needs one. Just ask! One more thing. The beach is really large. If you Google the area you will see how close the condo is to the beach. The picture Tammy is talking about was just a pretty picture of the beach that was taken from my balcony and zoomed in on. I just wanted people to see how awesome the beach looked. The sand is up to the road. That starts the beach area. Thank you for your time.
