    Awesome condo!! Perfect location!! I have traveled and stayed in many condos/villas and this one is TOPS! Clean,quiet and fully equipped w/ kitchen and bath supplies for all your needs. For surfers it is the prime location. We came for 10 days(outside surf season) and it was going off everyday! The pool was so nice for relaxing and meeting other travelers. Gracias Roberto and Garett for all your help in making our trip so nice! The only thing missing from the website is the sound of the waves which lull you to sleep at night!

    This Condo Is best.! I have stayed at various condos many time in Hacienda Iguana. An decided to try to use a different options for a days. It was perfect, the best view of all of condos and everything you needed. Cold air-condition, Full kitchen, very clean and the maid fold towels into a heart from me and my wife. I come back and always use this now.. Gracia por todo Robert!

    Awesome condo with the BEST view of Panga Drops!! Walk 5 minutes to surf at the best break in the area. After surfing, sit on the balcony and watch others!! Very clean, great owners that live in the house next door so if you need anything at all, they are available. Would also recommend renting a surfboard since the shop there has a nice quiver to select from. I WILL stay at Jacks condo ONLY on my next trip and I certainly WON'T bring my own boards. Expensive and a real pain! Highly recommend!!

    Me and a buddy stayed here for 10 days. The condo was in great condition. It had all the basic necessities stocked (bottled water, toilet paper, dish soap, paper towels, etc...) which was nice. It also has everything you need to cook meals and the such. Owner was first class and had all kinds of suggestions, movies stocked and was always just a call away. The condo was cleaned every couple of days and we had no complaints. Along with the beach out front, there's a nice pool just downstairs. If your a surfer, the condo overlooks Panga Drops. We pretty much kept the windows open at all times as the breezes were nice and so were the sound of crashing waves just outside our balcony. I got a bit spoiled going to bed listening to that and waking up to barrels outside my window every morning. Just up the beach in the same development is Colorado's and Popoyo is a short drive away. If you need a boat to other spots, they will come pick you up right in front of the condo. Overall, we would highly recommend this condo to anyone looking for a nice place to stay!

    From beginning to end this was hands down the best vacation I have ever been on. Traveling was made easy by Jack and Patty who graciously answered all the hundreds of questions my husband and I had before traveling to Nicaragua for the first time. Our driver Roberth was amazing, the condo exceeded all our expectations and was exactly as presented in the online photos; right on the beach with a gorgeous view of the ocean and sunset from the spacious patio. If you are looking to relax, really relax, unwind get some sun and hit the surf you will not be disappointed with your stay. We plan to make traveling to Nicaragua an annual event. Recommendations Before Traveling: Do your research Ask questions BEFORE you book your trip Take advantage of the driver service Stock up on groceries on your way down, get everything you need except for fish which you can buy from local fishermen

    This place is just fantastic! I stayed here for 7 nights with my father and a friend to surf in Nicaragua and we could not choose a better place to stay. The condo is great and the owner Jack lives just a few steps away and is ready to help you with anything you need. Here you are right ON THE BEACH. We had a fantactic vacation! I hope to go back to Nicaragua soon.

    This place is GREAT! We stayed for seven nights and it was fantastic. You are literally steps away from great surf and the views from the balcony are beautiful. The large floor plan is clean and well designed. We had planned on doing some sight-seeing, but never did because we were happy just staying here with the surf and the spectacular beauty of the ocean at our front door. When we were not surfing we took walks up and down the coast or into the nearby jungle to check out the monkeys and other wildlife. We can’t wait to get down there again.

    Everything listed in the property description is accurate. I've stayed here several times and each visit is wonderful. Patty and Jack are friendly owners that are always available to answer questions, address concerns, or make suggestions on where to go, what to do, and things to see. They truly care about your stay. This condo has one of, if not, the best views for surf checks. The second story balcony affords a commanding view of the waterfront. The accommodations are clean, the floor plan is spacious, and the amenities are modern. I would recommend this property to a friend or relative that's looking to have most of the comforts of home in a faraway place.

    The location couldn't have been better, literally right on the beach. I grew up on the beach so I can vouche as far as location. If you travel to this spot understand there's no places around the corner to food shop, make sure you pick stuff up prior to arrival. We faced an ovetwhelming amount of ants so if that's not ok then this place may not be for you, I must say that I don't know if this is a normal occurence. The pool area was occupied with people so make sure your ok with potential parties, wasnt an issue for us. Jack and Patty use Zack as a contact for anything you may need. Please not that if Zacks tied up with.something else you may need to wait however long for your request. Unfortunately Jack and Patty werent as accessable as we would have liked but we understood they to have lives. The confo is awesome, really really nice, we had more then enough space! Think about renting a car if you plan on going to see the sites or else your at someone elses beckon call. Overall, foods great, locations TOP NOTCH and the locals were super friendly, VERY SAFE.

    Not knowing what to expect when we arrived in Nica.(it was my first time in Central America) I was immediately pleased. Our accommodations were beautiful, modern, clean, top-notch and simply easy. Within seconds of our arrival, we were dipping our toes in the crystal blue water with the wind gently blowing through our hair. We couldn't have asked for more from the accommodations. Our hosts made sure that we were comfortable and then left us be. The place was spotlessly clean when we arrived with the air conditioning keeping things pleasant indoors. We quickly turned it off and opened the terrace doors to allow the ocean breeze in and the unobstructed picture perfect view. Two roomy bathrooms with huge elegant showers kept us all comfortable. We had a DVD player with a library of DVDs for us to watch after sunset. But we found that we'd rather walk the beach at night anyhow to check out the bioluminescents(sp?)There was fresh drinking water ready to go and a fully equipped kitchen made breakfast and lunch a snap. I feel like I can still taste the papaya. We came prepared with groceries for breakfast and lunch but didn't need dinner as there were many nearby restaurants with some really amazing local fare. Eating out for dinner was a great way to catch a little bit of the local spirit of the area and experience the genuine warmth of the local community here. Even though we came when the surf was in the "off season" there were plenty of waves to be had and plenty of room at the breaks for everyone. And, with our condo overlooking the beach we were always in the know about what the break was up to at a moments notice. We look forward to coming back and resting in the hammock that overlooks the ocean, taking jogs on the beach, surfing the breaks, and catching a cerveza with the locals over fresh civeche and lobster. This is the perfect getaway.

    It does not get much more beachfront than this. The waves literally lap up to the patio below our 2nd floor condo. We arrived on a Sunday and stayed for three days. The condo is clean and big enough to literally live in. We stayed with another couple so the biggest problem was deciding who gets the master bedroom on the ocean. No A/C needed with the ocean breezes. We're not surfers but the beach is beautiful and enjoyed watching the surfers wipeout. Mornings spent walking the white sand but most of time we just watched from the patio, the ocean waves come in. Since we're golfers, we hit the little white ball around some. Nice nine holes and well maintained. The restaurant has a limited menu so recommend you bring your own food. We recommend this highly to anyone wishing to do very little. Just relax!

    We had the most incredible time at the condo. The views and service are incredible. The beach is one of the most peaceful and beautiful I have visited. The waves are also some of the best around, and the waves at panga drops are almost always breaking with great form. This was hands down, one of the best vacations we ever had.

    The condo is right on the beach, second floor, with great views and nice cool breezes. At night you can listen to the waves crashing on the beach. Very relaxing stay. A short walk to Panga Drops surf break. It is about a 20 minute walk to Playa Colorado, (possibly the best break in Nicaragua), but, you can drive there in less than 5 minutes. The condo has 2 bedrooms, air conditioning, and a nice outdoor deck. There is also a swiiming pool, which is nice to cool off, and great if you have kids. There is only 1 restuarant in Hacienda Iguana, so it's a good idea to bring lots of food with you. My wife and I enjoyed our stay thoroughly and would recommend it highly.

    The condo's clean, large and up to date with a full window and sliding glass door view of the white sand beach only steps away. The setting feels private and relaxed and the village offers a private golf course and two great surf breaks. The locals are accommodating and the beach and surrounding area very beautiful and explorable with long open expanses of sand to walk or relax on. I live on the beach in California, but this place feels so remote yet comforting, I love it. I spent my time beachcombing and relaxing. I surfed for hours in the warm water and a tour the coast by a small locally made boat provided adventure. There's the perfect mixture of remoteness and luxury. I can't to visit again.

    We have traveled to Central and South America multiple times. This was our first VRBO experience. The VRBO format is simple and easily understood. The info goes way beyond slick ads and pretty mktg. words. It is very personal and easy to get a good “feel” for the property. The property owners “Promise A Lot; Deliver More.” They could not have been more gracious or helpful. Their descriptions and photos lured us; the actual location, ambiance and amenities demand our return. Our satisfaction must be obvious. A dozen or more of our friends are looking to visit Nicaragua, and in particular, this condo. There is one descriptor that sums up the owners – Simpatico. Before departing the States, they sent us in depth info with maps, detailed directions, history, highlights and instant email answers to any of our questions. This level of service, coupled with nonpareil beach, surfing, sunsets and remote surroundings, adds up to one of the best – maybe THE best – trips we have had. The condo is right on the water and there are only 12 units. We had our own private paradise. The layout had 2 large bedrooms and baths, a completely equipped kitchen open to the dining room/living room which opens onto a large, shaded veranda – all facing the ocean. They have thought of every comfort and amenity. Plenty of books, satellite TV, several dozen DVDs are provided. Construction of the building is first class and even soundproofed. Air conditioning is more than adequate with large ceiling fans in each room. World class surfers entertained us daily. Decisions can be difficult: Do I read around the palm shaded pool or a lounger on the beach? Maybe I shouldn’t leave the infectious hammock on the veranda, sipping a Flor de Caña, stuck on page 1. Do we walk down the 2 miles of pristine beach; breakfast/lunch at tables right on the beach; cerveza at a small sand floor tienda; dinner at Gigantitas? Tough decisions. The Nicaraguans are incredibly friendly, prices are very reasonable and the experience memorable. There is one danger: Once you visit Nicaragua, you may never want to leave.

    Stayed at this condo in February of 2011. Everything was perfect. Housekeeper cleaned the place everyday. Fresh water in the cooler everyday. Amazing view of Panga drops from the hammock on the balcony. 10 minute walk down the beach to Colorados. Boat trips daily up the coast to other amazing surf breaks. I highly recommend it...in fact, I'm planning on returning next year...See you soon Jack and Patty!

    We couldn't have asked for a more relaxing vacation. The condo was perfect in every way, the best part was falling asleep listening to the waves (your that close). Great place to surf, hang at the beach or pool and close enought to travel to some local resturants that were great. Great Host's which will help with anything you need. love the area, lot's to explore and see. we'll be back.

    My husband and I stayed here last September and it was WONDERFUL! Although the drive there can be tricky.. interesting roads and terrible police. Once we got there we learned very quickly you never need to leave! The condo itself is very clean and spacious. The AC worked the entire time and the water was always hot. There are hikes within walking distance from the condo with plenty of monkey viewing. My husband surfs and the location couldn't be better. He was able to get on Panga Drops and Playa Colorodo before any of the tour boats made it in and I could watch him from the hammock on the balconey. I felt safe at all times and Jack and Patty are great! We were able to get some of the staff to bring us fresh fish from a local village and Patty helped me arrange for a massage. We have traveled all over central America and are very independent drive and explore type people, and this is the first place where we only wanted to stay around the condo and beach. This really is a fantastic vacation for a couple or family. We will certainly be back.
