Our home is located across the street from the ocean, sitting atop an ancient lava flow. It is approximately twenty feet above the beach road (Alii Drive) and affords you the sounds of the ocean surf, and a full view of the ocean.
The large lanai in front (60 feet wide)is wonderful for viewing whales, dolphins, Kona sunsets or just plain relaxing. There are two rear lanais with views of Mt. Hualalai. Located on a semi-private driveway, there is ample off-street parking in this quiet and safe neighborhood.
You are within short distance of the two most popular beaches in Kailua-Kona...enjoy Kahaluu Snorkel Beach (4 blocks south) or White Sands Beach (2 blocks north). Walking, jogging and bicycling are all very popular on Alii Drive as this stretch of road is home to the Ironman Triathlon Event held every year in October.
Enjoy the lush tropical backyard, with private pool and barbecue. If you pick up a bag of birdseed and retire to the backyard you will enjoy the numerous colorful Hawaiian birds that are sure to visit.
