Simpson Beach location:
Our Simpson Beach Condominium is directly on the longest sandy beach on the island. The beach stretches all the way to the lagoon canal and is ideal for beach walks and collecting sea shells. The condo is in a quiet residential neighborhood with a mixture of private homes and elegant vacation properties. There is plenty of room for lounging on the pool deck or in a shaded beachside garden. A gated parking lot provides ample parking for all guests.
Convenience is the word for our location. Within walking distance, you will find a French bakery, grocery stores, ATM's, a drug store, restaurants, carryout food, a sports bar and more. Casinos and night life are a short drive from the condo.
Information on St Martin / St Maarten
St. Martin is 37 Square miles and is well known for some of the finest restaurants in the Caribbean; this is a foodie's island with a variety of cuisines in all price ranges. It is also known for it’s European boutiques and bargains on electronics, cosmetics, linen and jewelry.
Water sports, casinos, and nightlife also make this island a popular choice with singles, couples and families. There are plenty of activities such as horseback riding, The Butterfly Farm, ziplines and much more.
St Martin is easily navigated by car. This is very useful for visiting the major towns as well as a variety of beaches. A regular sedan is adequate. Driving is on the right side of the road, the same as US, Canada and most of Europe.
While French and Dutch are the official languages, English is spoken almost everywhere. The US dollar is accepted everywhere but you may find prices quoted in Euros on the French side and Netherlands Antilles florin or guilders on the Dutch side. Shops and restaurants will convert prices to US currency. Credit cards are accepted in most places and there are ATM’s if you need extra cash.
St. Martin is a fun island and the Simpson Beach Condo’s work well for the independent traveler who prefers a great beach location. "Simpson Bay Beach Condos is excellent for a relaxing self-catering vacation" I have enjoyed two wonderful weeks at Apt. 8 Simpson Beach, the first time in March, 2003, and this year in July. The apartment is delightful, in an excellent location, and near enough to the airport for very easy access. The apartment is very well equipped, and is so comfortable and relaxing. All the comforts of home, but oh with a difference! Home does not have a lovely view over the bay, with turquoise sea and white sand beach. This beach is just at your feet, and you can go for a long walk to either end, searching for shells as you go. The apartment shares a very nice pool, with all the lounging facilities you could want. The place is very well maintained. The locality of the apartment has shops, restaurants and interesting local details. You feel as if you are part of the buzz of a real neighborhood, and not stuck in a tourist enclave. Further afield, the island is wonderful, with beaches to dream of, such as famous Orient Beach on the French side. I would certainly love to return any time.

"This was a lovely apartment in paradise" We stayed at the Simpson Bay Beach Condos for a week, and could not have had a more pleasant stay. The location was absolutely perfect - close to everything while still being quiet enough to be relaxing. The gated parking was terrific, as were the large number of stores and restaurants within walking distance. As for the condo itself - it was also wonderful. All the amenities were there, exactly as promised. I'd definitely stay here again!
