Jubilee is a newly built home (2008) and sits directly on the Gulf of Mexico. All five bedrooms have wonderful views of the beach. This three story home is truly luxurious and there is not an amenity missed.
On the first floor there are 4 bedrooms. All beds have pillow top mattresses, down pillows and comforters. The first room is the bunk bed room; great for the kids. Each bunk has a drop down DVD player. The next two rooms are queen size beds and have amazing views! The fourth room on the first floor has a king size bed and a shared bathroom between rooms 3 and 4. There is also another bathroom for the 1st and 2nd rooms.
The second floor of this home is spectacular. The views are breathtaking with large open windows to soak it all in. This is the living area of the home. There are living, dining and kitchen areas all wide and open. In the living area there is a large, flat screen TV. The kitchen has top of the line appliances and gorgeous cabinets. The best part of this whole floor is the screened in porch off of the kitchen. This porch has a fireplace and a built in grill with plenty of sitting/sleeping choices! There is a half bath on this floor.
The master suite of this home takes up the entire third floor! This room has a king sized bed and a gorgeous full bath. Of course, the views are amazing up here too!
There is nothing missed in this home and will truly provide an experience of luxury, comfort and pure Jubilee!

I rented the Jubilee property from July 28, 2012 to August 4, 2012. It did not meet the amenities as were advertised. One big problem was the porch that is screened in with the grill that was a major part of advertising did not even work. We were prepared to cook on the grill and went to use it and you could tell for quite some time it has not been operational. The kitchen also fell short. The one pan that was there had Teflon peeling all over it so anything you cooked you would be eating Teflon. I went and bought pans and pot holders because there were none in the house. The Dishwasher does not clean the dishes without leaving residue all over them, therefore leaving us to hand wash everything, not something you want to do on vacation! The silverware drawer does not have stops on it so my child went to get a fork and the whole drawer fell on her foot. There was also only 1 dish towel. The unit also was very dirty when we arrived. It looked like the only thing that was done was the toilets and clean sheets on the beds. There was dust on everything sand everywhere and the dust on the door louvers was totally disgusting. It looks like no one had ever dusted them and they are very noticeable. The carpet under the beds had about 2 inches of dirt and dust on them. The ceiling fans don’t look like they have been cleaned before. For us having to pay for cleaning I think you are getting ripped off. The bathroom drains in the showers need to have some drain cleaner put in them especially the downstairs hallway bath, the water rises to your ankles. The door knob needs to be replaced it is very hard getting in and out of the front door and also hard to keep the door closed without slamming it everytime. The DVD player also does not work. Also when we had a very bad storm come through, we had to put trashcans all over because the water was running out of the dining room ceiling where the crack is and in the bunk room end window also the first queen bedroom window all leaked. Overall the house was very disappointing! We saw from the sign it is for short sale, but if you are going to continue renting it in this shape it is not fair to people paying this high amount for a “LUXURY” house to being tricked into thinking from the pictures posted that this is what you are going to get your money. For the amount of money a night one would certainly expect more! I would not suggest renting.Owner response: We apologize for your experience at Jubilee. It is one of our most popular rental homes and has been for years. We appreciate any and all feedback and are happy to report that these issues have been addressed. We just wish we would have been called during your stay. For instance, we stock pots and pans here at our office and would have gladly brought some over if we had known. Unfortunately during your stay you only called during one of the storms to let us know about the leaks and that there were some issues with some of the drains, but did not mention any of the other items in this lengthy review. As a matter of fact I checked them out and asked how their stay was and they said that they had a great time and loved the place so I am sure that you can understand our surprise and confusion!! We are here to take care of your needs during your stay, but can only do so if we are made aware of any issues. The owners have recently replaced the outdoor grill and the pots and pans have been replaced as well. The dishwasher has been serviced and works just fine. The silverware drawer's stoppers have been replaced as well. We take the cleanliness of our homes very seriously. Our inspectors inspect all houses prior to the guests' arrival and Jubilee was most certainly done. We ask our guests to let us know if we need to do anything at all during their stay and cannot help if we are not able to go in and rectify the situation or are not told that there is an issue. We called a plumber out and he took care of all of the drains in the house so this was solved. The front door of the house is in a position where the wind is constantly getting at it. Very breezy conditions out there. The last guests that checked out on Monday did not have any issues with it.

My family (2 adults, 2 school-age kiddos & 1 enthusiastic Labrador) stayed at Jubilee in March 2010. The best parts of the home: clearly designed to be a vacationer's beach house ~ the many large windows that afford lovely views of the ocean were a huge highlight. My favorite part of the home was the lovely kitchen which allowed me to prepare many meals while enjoying the view. We picked up oysters on the half shell daily plus many types of fish and even lobster for lobster and eggs at the nearby fish market. The screened in patio which opens off of the kitchen was a family favorite as well. We enjoyed the grill and the outdoor fireplace was appreciated early in the morning for coffee while looking out at the beach and also in the evenings as the weather cooled. Our labrador loved laying out there on the tile keeping an eye on everyone as well. The pictures do not do this particular space justice--you will love it! This home could be challenging for anyone adverse to climbing lots of stairs. **You must climb several flights to arrive to the front door (not much fun to haul your belongings after a drive) and then--at the 1st floor level you will find 3 bedrooms/bathrooms. My kids favorite was the bunk bed room with the windows to the beach at each level and drop down DVD players at each bunk. **more stairs to main level with a terrific family room, dining room, kitchen, screened in porch. ** finally---next set of stairs to the main bedroom suite. Once you are there it is nirvana--huge space with steam shower--lovely! We found that the cable didn't work in the 1st level bedrooms--even after we called. Also, there was what appeared to be a recurring leak under the kitchen sink that didn't receive attention though we called..TWICE. Coastal Joe was terrific to work with in every other way--we just wondered why the breakdown in the maintenance area when we were trying to take care of the home. Would love to return! We were delighted to find the beach truly dog friendly--so everyone take care of your dogs while you are there! Also--loved the fact that this is a quiet and peaceful area. Enjoyed many family card games, sandcastle building days and cocktails by the beach. Lovely!Recommended for: Pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers.

The house was ideal for a family vacation, with the water about 70 yards from the house with nothing obstructing our view of thew water. The beach was outstanding with sand as white and soft as snow! The water was clear and warm just perfect for our enjoyment. The house had a number of excellent amenities. Would I rent this house again - DEFINITELY! It was a fantastic, relaxing vacation location.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1

This was our 9th year going to the Cape and it was another great trip. We endured the tropical storm (Claudette), but it was still great to be there. Jubilee is a wonderful, beautiful home. Great views, great space, lovely decor. The outside porch was our favorite thing. Aside from just a few issues (satellite didn't cooperate) everything was wonderful. The staff at Coastal Joe was very accomodating and calming during the storm. They were there to answer any questions we had. Such a great house, it is absolutely beautiful!!! My kids loved it, we loved it, best house we've stayed in by far. Our cell phones even worked everywhere in the house! Would definitely stay there again, no doubt! Will probably book it for next year. Would love to own this place!!!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0
