  I had the pleasure of staying at Bogdan's place for a weekend to ski at Jay Peak with a group of 8 friends. The location was really convenient - close to a few general stores and also to the ski resort. The property is clean and well maintained. Bogdan stayed right next door in a separate unit and was always helpful when I needed help with fixing the water. It was great talking to him! Note that there aren't any 24-hour convenience stores nearby and shops close by 9, so make sure you know what to bring on your trip!

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+.

  I stayed here with a group of friends for a ski weekend in Jan. 2012. Great location for skiing at Jay! Grocery store right around the corner too. This house is in good condition and very cozy. The only problem was that the beds were not comfortable (more than one person commented on it) and I kept waking up in the middle of night due to being uncomfortable, which was obviously not ideal. If the beds were newer, this would be a wonderful house to stay in. The only other issue was there was no hand soap, dish soap or sponges in the house, so we had to run out to the general store and buy some. Other than that, we had a great time!

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, adventure seekers.

  We stayed for a week and found the house to be clean and just what we needed. The laundry facilities and dishwasher were great bonuses. Distance to Jay Peak ski hill was short and less than an hour to Stowe. Our family had a great time.

  Recommended for: Families with young children, adventure seekers, families with teenagers.

  The location is perfect, just close enough to the Canadian border, Jay Peak Resort, and around the corner from a general store. The house was clean and inviting, with a functional kitchen, cozy sofas and blankets, and lots of sleeping room (we were 4, but could have stayed 8 or even 10 comfortably!) Bogdan and his family were accommodating and friendly. Overall, the value was perfect for a ski weekend -- we would definitely return in the future!

  Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, families with teenagers.

  Great place for skiers, I stayed here with a few friends the weekend of 2/11. The house is is very clean and comfortable; doesn't have a lot of bells and whistles but who needs it up in Jay. It is very close to Jay Peak (10-15 min drive) and the house is easy to get to even without an AWD vehicle. Grocery store is right down the road. Washer and dryer was a big plus to have for skiiers. Owners were very responsive to inquiries. Would recommend this to anyone looking to go skiing at Jay.

  We stayed at this house for a long weekend and enjoyed it very much. The house was clean, comfortable, and the location is great. We will definitely consider staying here again.

  This house was great, everything is newly renovated and well kept. We stayed during the "Artic Freeze" weekend in January and the heating in the house was excellent. It is a short, easy drive to Jay. Most of my party forgot towels and Bodgan supplied us with 5-7 towels right away. The only thing I would say is that the couches are not pull-out couches, so if you have 10 people they are just sleeping on a regular couch. It may be a good idea to pack an aero-bed or sleeping bags. Otherwise, the house was great and my family and friends are hoping to rent it again later in the season.

  I stayed with my friends at this townhouse in the middle of January. The place is great and is newly renovated and very comfortable. The owners were extremely flexible and the hospitality was great. They provided my friends and I an excellent place to stay just a quick drive from one of the best mountains on the East Coast. I will definitely stay at the house again and look forward to making the trip many more times. Thank you Bogdan.

  We stayed here the New Years week - the house is newly renovated and is very clean and comfortable. Very close to Jay Peak (and the approach road is easy even without an AWD). Grocery store is in walking distance - great place for skiers. Laundry facility was a big plus. Bogdan and his wife are very gracious hosts - we'll be back again and will recommend to others.
