What a wonderful time we had with our family. We had plenty of room to spread out. This will now be our home away from home! It is perfectly stocked and comfortable, and the living room is even nicer than in the photo (my husband is now on a search for the same recliner). Also, having a washer/dryer in the unit was perfect too. The creek is right there and our little nature hikes brought many wonderful suprises. We can't wait to return!

My family and I spent Spring Break week in Hi Country Haus. There were six adults and three pre-teen children in our group. It was a great vacation. The views from the condo were so lovely and picturesque. As we were out by the creek one evening, a moose ambled by to check us out. We got great pictures and the kids have a great story to tell. The condo had plenty of space for all of us. It wasn't roomy for nine people, but we all had our own space and there were no complaints for lack of room. Beds were comfortable. There were plenty of blankets. We also had plenty of towels, at least for one day. To accommodate the demand and with a washer and dryer in the unit, we just did a load of towels each day as we left for the slopes. One note, you will need to bring your own laundry soap. Although only two baths, it served us just fine. One sink is outside the toilet/shower area for the main bath, so that made logistics a tad easier. The kids in our group loved the bright baby blue shower enclosures. Those things definitely harkened back to the 1970's era but were very clean and in good repair. The ski locker outside was great to stash all the gear. Man did we have a ton of it! Each night we built a fire from firewood we had delivered by Bill's Firewood service. The man was fast and cheap. He brought us four bundles of wood for $15 in less than 20 minutes. For comparison, the corner store (right by the turn in to the condo) had wood for sale for $5.99 per bundle. Bill’s was a great savings and convenient. I’m all about that on vacation. The kitchen has been modestly updated. The cabinets are beautiful and the layout is workable. As a whole the kitchen has what you need, but is rather basic. Most of the time that's fine for a vacation rental. For me it was a source of frustration. I really enjoy cooking and have been spoiled by my own kitchen. Since I cooked all our meals in the condo I needed a few more kitchen implements, specifically a measuring cup that had the markings on it. However, we adapted and overcame the shortage. Since we found a corkscrew for our wine straightaway, it was ALL good! Certainly the minor inconvenience of making do in the kitchen did not spoil the wonderful week at Hi Country Haus. We would rebook this unit without hesitation.

We truly enjoyed our stay at this Hi Haus condo. It is so warm and cozy and accommodated our group with great comfort. After a long day of skiing, the condo was an inviting place in which to return. We looked forward to coming "home" each day, start a roaring fire in the beautiful fireplace and just relax. As a matter of fact, we liked it so much that we opted stay in and cook every night instead of going out. Thanks, Lisa, for your flexibility and hospitality. On a scale of 1 - 10, this experience was definitely a 10!!

My wife and I stayed at this delightful condo for a short break - as soon as you walk through the door you will be very pleased with the spacious layout, the tasteful decor, and the superbly remodeled and modern kitchen. The owners have put a great deal of thought into making this a very comfortable place to stay. The beds are very comfy, with good quality bedding - we didn't use the fire during our stay - we imagine it would make the living room an even more relaxing place to return to after an energetic day. We took in some trail running while we were there and were reminded of what a great spot this is for active folks. We will definitely return and highly recommend this excellent condo to prospective guests!

We had plenty of room to play together or separately... 3 kids with adults and everyone was happy. Loved the bunk beds, 2 bathrooms were great! Well stocked kitchen with gadgets and dishes. The stream was a surprise- don't remember reading about it being righ in the back yard- so soothing! We walked to downtown every night- very convenient as the van needed a break from driving! Hernando's Pizza was our favorite meal of the trip- thank you for the tip. Wished we had booked the whole trip in Winter Park. We hope to come back and ski in the winter! Wonderful!

Thank you LIsa, Ron, Sage and Skylar for sharing your Winter Park home with us. We had a wonderful time. The location was perfect for our weekend. We went sledding the first day- what a great hill, and downhill skiing the next. It was ideal to simply walk out the door and go down the stairs to the shuttle stop for the area. On our last day we XC skied at Devil's Thumb. The place was a nice size and convenient for all our needs. Glad to have the hot tubs and rec area + the wireless access and television which were good for our evening crash. Thanks again.-Brad Martin and family, Allenspark, CO

Great location, beautiful surroundings, cozy fire and an all around wonderful vacation atmosphere. Our family loved the condo and the time we had in Winter Park. The walking/hiking trail was an added bonus. Nice and quiet with just the river to keep me company. WOW! Hope to come back again.

We had such a great time in this condo. The accomodations were just what we wanted. THe place was perfect for couples and would be great for kids with the bunk beds in one room. It was very cozy with the river running by and we even got to watch fireworks from the porch. We loved that we could walk to dinner and to great breakfast restaurants as well. I highly recommend this place and we can't wait to go back.
