NEW FLATSCREEN AND SOFA BED added summer 2011.Many people say that Powderidge is the best location at Snowshoe Mountain! located on Highland Ridge offering glorious eastern views of the basin and the Village. Powderidge is slope side adjacent to the Powderidge lift and trail system with Snowshoe Village located about a half mile away and you can reach it by taking a pleasant walk on a lovely path that is lit up at night. You can enjoy the spectacular view of the mountains at a lookout along the path. Don't miss the sunset!
This quaint one bedroom home is perfect for the smaller family who enjoys ski-in/out, great views, walking access to the village, ample parking, Powderidge is located at the top of the Powderidge ski lift during ski season, you can slip into your skis just outside your door and gently slide down the hill on one of the several slopes that start at the top of the lift area.
The home features new carpet and vinyl, great mountain and village view, covered balcony. In the summer, you can sit on the deck and sip a cool drink watching the deer crossing the meadow for their regular evening visit. Occasionally, you can glimpse at the local bear from a distance, and glance at humming birds zipping over head. Come up and enjoy the wine festival, jazz festival, biker rally, and other summertime events. World class mountain biking in the summer, some of the best motorcycling on the East Coast and fly fishing on the Elk River (an ORVIS destination) are minutes away. What are you waiting for?

We live in Salem Virginia. After several years of renting every winter at Snowshoe we decided it was time to buy a place of our own on the mountain. Since we are not able to make it up every weekend it made sense to make unit available for rent when we couldnt be up there. When you rent from us you are not getting a place that is "just a rental", our family uses it all the time, we have a personal interest in keeping it nice, and clean, the kind of place you will enjoy staying in.

Great 1 bedroom condo with all the comforts of home. Epic views! A little more snow would have made the location outstanding. If your not used to baseboard heating, setting the heat on 60 is plenty warm. Owners pleasant to deal with. Will return.
