My husband and our two youngest boys thoroughly enjoyed our week at your lovely property. We spent many hours on the private dock fishing and catching a wide variety of fish. We did venture out for several site seeing trips and especially enjoyed the Lighthouse and the behind the scenes tour. The home was decorated very nicely and was very comfortable. We definitely would encourage others to visit!

The house was perfect, very clean and comfortable. We had a great time even hanging out at the house. As usual St. Augustine is a great place to go and being on the Intracoastal is even better. We had our boat and hit the normal places on the water, couch house for Regee Sunday, Downtown, Caps, and King Fish Grill. Harrry's downtown and was great as usual. The house would be great for anytime, weekend, week, month it was like being at home, the owners were great and so were the neighbors, Thanks Melinda.

Great vacation home

We stayed here for about a week and a half, and really enjoyed it. The home is beautiful - wonderfully furnished, very comfortable. The location is great - right between the beach and the Intracoastal waterway. We loved sitting on the patio, looking out onto the water and grilling steaks for relaxing evenings. The neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful. The home is immaculate - spotlessly clean. We would definitely recommend this home.

Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

This rental was the best I ever had. It is clean, modern and very nicely decorated. It has everything you need to relax on vacation and more. The bamboo sheets and Lavender soaps where wonderful. The house is private and the layout is extremely nice. Sit on the back porch and watch dolphins and boats go by or walk to the end of the dock and watch the sun go down. The Beach is quiet and full of shells. Good restaurants around if you don't want to cook. This place is a gem.

We were very pleased with this property. We use VRBO almost exclusively for our vacations. This home was the best we have rented to this point. Everything was exactly as expected. We did not need the owners while we were there, but the fact that they live next door was a big draw for us. The location was convenient to the historic area which was our primary focus on this trip. It also was not that far from the beach. While we were at the house, we really enjoyed looking out to the intercoastal waterway. If we didn't want to walk to the dock, we could sit in the house or sit outside on the back porch. The housekeeping is immaculate, and the furnishings exactly as described and pictured.

This house was great for our girls' getaway. We enjoy playing games and just spending time together so the location and amenities of the house were perfect for our purposes. The location is a quiet neighborhood, but the beach and several nice restaurants are very close. It is a good area for walking, either the streets or the beach, and two bikes are provided for guests to use. The decor is very well done and the house truly is immaculate. The view and dock on the Intracoastal are a nice extra!

We were certainly not disappointed! The house is very nice and well cared for, and had everything we needed! We loved the location also. Now all we need is another trip to St. Augustine, because there's so much to do! Having the ocean so close by was very convenient, and I'm now in love with the Atlantic coast.. We certainly ate well! Saltwater Cowboys was one of our favorites. Thanks, Melinda for all your help and advice. You just may have us as guests again someday!

My husband and I just returned from a one week stay at the "Wahoo House". This is a lovely home very nicely decorated and stocked with anything one might need. The beds were extremely comfortable and the house was spotless when we arrived. We visited St. Augustine many times for dinner and shopping. It was a few minutes drive away. We had coctails out on the dock on the intercostal several nights also. I already have relatives interested in a future rental here and we would definately like to stay here again. I picked this house because of the picutures that showed me it was more than a typical rental. It is as nice or better than the photographs. Thanks for a great expericnce. K&R

A Beautiful Week

We just got back from a delightful experience staying at your private cottage on the ICW. We normally stay at hotels in the area when we visit St. Augustine, but this was so much better. It was very enjoyable to spend the first half of each day relaxing (beach combing, fishing, etc.), then each afternoon catching one of the many sights in the area (St. George St., Sightseeing Trains, Lightner Museum, Pirates Museum, and others). It was an over-all wonderful experience that we hope to repeat in the future. Thanks for making it possible.

Wonderful Getaway!

So close to town but far enough away to be tranquil and relaxing! We loved this home and property! What a treat to wake up in the morning and walk out through the beautiful low hanging spanish moss covered oaks to the private dock overlooking the tidal river. Superb accomodations were right on target and no expense was spared. St. Augustine (4 miles away) has a lot to offer - history, great food, museums - just a bunch to see and do. We had Manatee's swimming past the dock as well as dolphins! We fished our hearts out - catching everything from Flounder to Black Sea Bass - certainly a fishermans haven! The house was as clean as described and the sheets are as good as described! We went to the nature preserve (6 miles away) 3 days to beachcomb - found plenty of sharks teeth, sea glass and shells. Super nice beaches - well worth the parking fee ($3 donation)! Went to Alligator farm - a must see - Gomack is unbelievable - go early before it gets hot and feed the alligators too - fun! Did the trolley pass, which was nice to be able to jump on and off of - saw Fountain of Youth, Old Jail, museum next to old jail - all was good, but seeing it once was enough. So many things to see and do - you could spend all week just touring and shopping! Outlet malls are close too! Thanks for sharing your little peice of heaven with us - we enjoyed it and will recommend to friends and family!!

Perfect Honeymoon Experience!

My wife and I stayed for a week at this beautiful property for our honeymoon and first visit to St. Augustine. The house was amazing! We slept great every night on super comfy bamboo sheets. The garage had two bikes we used to cruise around. The back yard is beautiful and we watched the sun set every night on the back dock. The kitchen was spacious and had everything we needed to cook all our meals. We also loved the whole decor of the house, it wasn't your typical cheesy beach decor, instead it was very elegant but functional. The Owner was very helpful whenever we had questions or needed to get in touch. Property was spotless and clean. The location is great, just enough out of the way to be secluded with only a 4 minute drive to downtown St Augustine. I would HIGHLY recommend this property to anyone planing a visit to the area. Could not have been a better honeymoon for us! Thanks!!

The title is our expletive.........we loved it! The house is lovely,Immaculate, spacious and wanting nothing. It was great for our waistlines to make our own breakfast, walk the beach, swim,come home to shower and head out to explore all the wonderful sights of the area. Choosing our dinner spots was always an adventure so we sampled several types of cuisine e.g French, Spanish, Japanese sushi and of course some traditional Floridian seafood. We so enjoyed the view of the waterway and relaxing with our books,drinks in hand, under the shade of the magnificent live oaks. Flora and fauna abound! It was a sunny, 82 degree morning when we left Florida but als, we arrived to a cloudy 52 degrees NH afternoon. We want to go back to our Wahoo Street heaven.!! Thank you Melinda! Note to all guests: Tre Sebastian is a really lovely boutique. Make it a point to drop in.

The house more than lived up to our expectations. It was immaculate and very comfortable and was located in a very peaceful neighbourhood. It had one of the best equpped kitchens of any property we have rented. We could be in St Augustine in ten minutes. Our one appliance failure was addressed promptly the same day. It was also within five minutes of one of the best seafood restaurants in the area.( Caps On The Water). We would highly recommend this rental.

I highly recommend staying here. The house is so beautifully designed it lives large. Professional decorating shows throughout. It is comfortable, immaculately clean and has all the comforts of home. Right within view of the intercoastal waterway to the west, and a 3 block walking distance to the Atlantic ocean and walkable beaches make this a home I would return to again and again. Its got location, ambiance, and gracious owners.

LOVED the house!! St. Augustine is wonderful, we took in the sights all week, caught the trams around town, and ate some of the best seafood in Florida. Then when we were too tired to do any more we came back and relaxed at the house and watched the sunset... Couldn't ask for a better vacation! Thanks for letting us stay!!

My husband and I stayed in your rental house early in June and had a wonderful vacation. The house was everything we could have hoped for and more. The furnishings are beautiful and the kitchen well-stocked. I enjoyed sitting on the back porch and also walking under the live oaks in the back yard to the intracoastal waterway. It was very convenient being just a few minutes away from Vilano Beach and St. Augustine. We ate several meals at Vilano Beach restaurants and the food was very good. We highly recommend your rental property to anyone who would like a quiet vacation at a beautiful location but with numerous activities within easy driving distance. Thanks for your hospitality.

We were delighted with our accommodations. The house was beautiful at first sight -- the surroundings were serene and picturesque -- and the location was wonderful -- close to the beach which is fabulous and the old city which we thoroughly enjoyed once again. We stayed four nights during Bike Week and were more than pleased. The beautifully decorated home in such a lovely setting was a delightful surprise. The house was spotless. The owners were both gracious and hospitable. We've already booked it for the Fall.

Stayed three nights here in January 2009. Wonderful location - close enough to walk to beach, short drive to St. Augustine and Ponte Vedra, quiet neighborhood. The house is meticulously clean and beautifully furnished. Highly recommended.

Excellent place to stay! The house is lovely and the owners(who live next door) are wonderful. We walked to the beach, fished in the river and played golf in St.Augustine. Stayed two months and will definately return. Would highly recommend this rental. C.Bailey
