This is a charming one bedroom apartment in the heart of Paris. This area is one of the most safe and popular in the entire city. The property is in the Latin Quarter & near The Louvre, musee d'Orsay and The Seine River. This is a very lively neighborhood, with all attractions and ground transportations at your doorstep. The living room faces the street and boasts 3 large windows with double panes. The apartment also features oakwood floors, a fireplace, and 1 bedroom containing 1 queen size bed overlooking the courtyard.
The Living room has a pull out sofa that is great for sleeping up to 2 people. It also has an American kitchen with a nice bar & 3 stools. There is one full bathroom with a stand-up shower decorated by marble tiles. Then there is a second half-bathroom with independent access from all of the other rooms. This stylish building is quite ancient, being built in the 17th century.
THE AREA
The area is the Center of Paris, Left Bank, full of hot and trendy spots to dine out or hang around, fine or casual dining places, banks, cafes, restaurants, gym, churches, bakeries... and much more!
The Latin Quarter is the oldest area in Paris, having been the centre of Gallo-Roman Lutetia in the 3rd century. You will find remnants of this period at the Thermes de Cluny, Roman baths standing next to the Medieval Cluny Museum.
Since the Middle Ages, the Latin Quarter has been an academic centre of knowledge and learning built around the Sorbonne University.
Rue Dauphine is a very quiet street, and all amenities (including groceries, metro, post office, pharmacies, cafes/restaurants )are just 5 min away by foot.

A few basic tips that will make your Paris experience more enjoyable :
1. Do not think automatically that being in the first arrondissement of Paris or being as close as possible to the Louvre is your best bet. You may end up with some severe disappointments for a couple of reasons.
2. Renting a vacation rental apartment is NOT the same as booking a hotel room. There is no reception desk "downstairs" ! One of the ways to cope with this difference is to have a cellphone. You may lose your key, the building code may change, and get stuck in front of the building at night, and so many situations that I have seen where a cellphone would have avoided a minor incident to become a major inconvenience spoiling your vacation.
