While there were some positive aspects to this apartment, I can not recommend it. Let's start with the positive. There were wonderful large windows, a modern kitchen (which we didn't use) and an incredibly comfortable couch. The apartment was clean.. When we got there a man was checking the internet, TV and wireless connections to make sure they were in working order for us. Now the "not so good." The apartment is advertised as quiet. Quiet is the last word that I would use to describe it especially on weekends. While it backs up on a small street as described, there is a jazz club and numerous restaurants beneath the aparment and the small street is a hangout for the youth of Paris. They were out in the streets partying until all hours of the night. If you're 20 something and like action, this might be the spot for you. If you enjoy sleeping at night, it probably isn't.. Speaking of sleeping, the sheets weren't big enough for the bed. Finally getting the significant security deposit back from the owner/management company is impossible.
Owner response:During the week, I have never heard of any complaint, even though this apt has had over 100 guests, and I have stayed myslelf in my apt numerous times, it is totally quiet because the street across the living room is a small pedestrian steet and the bedroom is on a very quiet courtyard. There is no restaurant in that street, nor any night club, these are located rue Saint Andre Des Arts, one block further, and all the nice locations of Paris have some night life on week-ends, at times it may be noisy occasionally on a Saturday night, this is a busy City, but the numerous feedbacks here are showing that your experience is a one of a kind. Aso, my Property manager has told me thta there had been some hidden damages to the chairs, guests had probably swinged ?

We have stayed in this apartment during our last two visits to Paris, and will be there again in 2011. It has been renovated recently, is very nicely decorated, well equipped and actually larger than it appears on the photos. The cleaning team of Usaparis did a fantastic job again. Each time we arrived there, it was just immaculate. It is at walking distance to the Seine, Louvre, Musee d'Orsay, and other major sites, and steps to many fantastic restaurants, bakeries, specialty cheese stores and all you may think of. We were traveling with two teenagers and were very comfortable letting them go out at night alone in that nice neighborhood.

Bonjour! We stayed at 2P Dauphine for 17 days in October ! You rolled out the welcome mat, and we were ensconced in "heaven in the 6th!". I have been remiss in sending back the apartement review, so I will edit and send it via email. Rental dates: Oct 15 - Nov 1, 2010 Cleanliness: 6 Chandeliers need cleaning in both rooms, Furnishings: 4 Sleeper sofa in living room is very worn and looks dirty, but probably just very worn. My friend slept there for a week, and said it was actually satisfactory. But, a new sofa and tablecloth on the little table would do wonders for the overall appeal of the living area. Neighborhood: 10 Exciting and lively. The best place to be in Paris! Highly recommend "Vins et Terroirs" for dining nearby ! You should recommend the frozen food store, PICARD, located outside (down below) the living room windows, for people wanting to return home and / or save money and fix prepared foods! Delicious... Appliances: 5 Nice looking kitchen, but oven inoperable. Honeymooners boiled their rabbit (ugh!) Customer Service: 10 Excellent response time ! Polite assistance ! Left notes regarding status and repairs performed. Very much appreciate the follow-up! I never did get the bedroom heater working, but it wasn't cold, so I did not pursue it. Also: The dead potted plants should be removed. If not maintained weekly, and die, no sense in having them. It downgrades the appearance. The fireplace front (wood part) could be caulked and painted black (?) or the pinkish / marble color, to blend in; it would help the ambiance... We left two wine glasses in the cupboard. Toujours! Julie Blumberg (mom to the hooneymooners before my arrival !) P.S. The drvier hire recommended by you made us feel like family ! He was great to the kids, ...and great, to us ! Merci beaucoup !

I always rely on recommendations from other renters before chosing ...and this place exceeded the feedbacks! The Usaparis staff greeted us when we arrived at the airport, carried our luggage and took us to the apt.... We really appreciated having been worn out by a delayed flight... They gave us a wonderful introduction to the home and the amazing neighborhood. The location is fantastic. When you go outside, you in the heart of it all, steps away from restaurants, fine groceries, incredible croissants shops and bakeries, fashionable stores and lots of cafes. Detailed instructions and information are provided in a brochure, in addition to the tips that were warmly provided by the Usaparis local team. The layout and the appliances worked really well. The apt. needs some painting job here and there, but Usaparis told us it was scheduled in November because of the massive number of reservations. There is a bus stop right in front of the entrance door of the building, but one must be really lazy or tired to use it, because the River, the Louvre, Saint Michel and Notre Dame are right there. We were also told by the tour guide of the Louvre Museum that the location is one of the most pricey in the World, so we still wonder how we could get such a fabulous rate from Sacha, the manager of their Office in Florida, a born Parisian who knows every bit of the City des Lumiere. It was also extremely convenient and secure to make our booking though a US firm. Their staff in Paris speak a perfect english. Sacha recommended the Cafe de Flore and we did wind up going to Café Flore for breakfast !! The beds were quite comfortable, and the apt is the best combination of comfort, price, location and quietness !

We have visited Paris a few times, always stood in Le Marais. This time my daughter wanted to stay in the Saint Germain des Pres area, where she has a close friend. We liked the locqtion of this apt. and booked it thru Usaparis very conveniently. They have an office in Florida, very professional and convenient. We felt safe this way. The experience alltogether was terrific. The apt., is located right in the middle of the most lively area in Paris, and one of the most expensive too. Never seen so many restaurants, bars and shops. There is a very inexpensive City Carrefour rue de Buci, a few steps away, so we could save our budget ! Bus stop was right in front of the door with 2 lines taking to the Louvre in less than 4 minutes, unless you want to enjoy the walk that is less then 10 minutes. Same to the gorgeous Notre Dame de Paris. Eiffel Tower is a bit farther. Boat trips are available at the end of the street, the Vedette du Pont Neuf, and it is just fabulous to do the night cruise. The service of Usaparis in Paris was just as friendly and helpful as the one in Florida. The apt. was amazingly quiet; as the windows are opening to a backstreet, pedestrian. It had all the equipment we wished, except the dishwasher. It was very clean and comfortable, although it requiresd some fresh painting work, which they told me was scheduled in November, and therefore I got an unbeatable rate ! I definitively recommend this place and this company. BTW we took their driver service that brought us to the apt. without hassle, after a 9 hours flight, this was extremely appreciated !

Everything went very smoothly, from the booking and the expert advices of usaparis, to the driver who took the 7 of us us back to the airport in great comfort. We rented also their apt. rue du Dragon nearby, that was a dream place too, but I definitively recommend this Company and their vacation rentals !

Our stay at this apt was just a delight. The living room is large and has 3 windows on a quiet pedestrian street, even thoughthe entrance of the building is on the rue Dauphine, a very busy street with losts of restaurants, cafes, shops... and busses. There is a bus stop with 2 bus lines right in front of the building, so it was extremely convenient to visit around. The pedestrian streets around have the exquisite charm of the Vieux Paris. The walk to cafe de Flore through Place de Furstenberg is unforgettable. we have been to Paris quite a number of times, but this is definitively our preferred spot.

This was our long awaited first time (romantic) trip to Paris, and we enjoyed it so so much ! This was because of the beautiful Spring time in Paris, but also thanks to the amazing location of that apartment and the wonderful service of Usaparis, both their staff in Florida, their team in Paris, and their driver service. The apartment was very clean and comfortable, and surprisingly very quiet, with all what's going on around it ! The small streets around are the most romantic we have ever visited.

We had a great 4 days staying in this apartment. The location is fantastic, just a short walk to Pont Neuf or in the other direction Bon Marche and a choice of Metros close by as well as the Musee d'Orsay. Also lots of restaurants, bakeries and food shops. We enjoyed buying our food and wine and cooking great dinners as well as eating out. There were a few disappointments however, the bed was a bit challenging with a queen mattress on the double base. Also the entrance off the street is a narrow passageway which is clean but unloved. The apartment was clean but needed a bit of tidying up and some repairs needed to be done, like a power socket. The pick up person Lizza was great however the local apartment contact person did not appear to be helpful. We did not let any of this spoil our great visit to Paris, we really enjoyed the space the apartment gave us and the flexibility.
