We are a family of 4.We stayed for 2 weeks and had a great vacation. The place was spotless and the walk to the beach took less then 30 seconds. We spent our entire holiday on the beach swimming and looking for shark teeth. We found lots of them.Back to the house....I already said clean...Lots of room. And the air worked well.We can't wait for next summer.

We spent the 4th of July weekend in the guest cottage this year. The weather was off and on rain but the accommodations were excellent. Plenty of outdoor activities in the area and some great restaurants too. Hope to make it back again soon.

Owner response: Thank you for the good review. We are glad that you enjoyed your time at our beach house. I wish we had more control over the weather but every day at the beach is a good day. We look forward to having you stay with us again. Scott and Sherri

From Trip Advisor Reviews: The home was very comfortable, spacious and well equipped. We had our 2 grandchildren with us and the space worked very well. The closeness to the beach was great - just a short walk and a great section of beach. It was close to restaurants and shopping yet a quiet neighborhood..........We would certainly come back if we get the opportunity!

From Trip Advisor Reviews: "Very well-kept and clean older property in a beutiful beach area of Florida that has not yet been totally overrun with people, development, and high-rise condos, yet close to good restaurants and diversions. We will be coming back. Communication and transactions with the owners were prompt and professional. Small questions were immediatley answered. The biggest problem was we didn't want to leave!"

Form Trip Advisor Reviews: "Thank you so much for sharing your beach house with us! The beach was just a couple of houses away and felt like our own private spot, complete with blue herons who watched the kids swim like lifeguards. The shelling was fantastic there, too. The house and cottage were very comfy and everyone felt at home there. We were able to cook a regular Thanksgiving dinner with no difficulty. Everyone enjoyed playing pool at night or when it was raining or too chilly to stay on the beach. Our multigenerational family group aged 7 to 83 all wished we could extend our stay for another week. We would definitely stay with you again!"

A year ago I was given a month of sabbatical leave in order to research and write a book. After searching for an appropriate hideaway for several months, I found the Beachcomber Bungalow advertised on the net. It sounded too perfect to be true, but I gave Scott Belden a call and he assured me that it would be exactly what I was looking for. With that assurance, I paid the deposit and made final plans to go to Manasota Key. My spouse and I arrived the day after New Year's, and found--if anything--the description had been understated. Unlike condominiums and many other beach properties, the Bungalow had the feel of a real home, which it is. It was spacious, beautifully appointed with all modern amenities and comfortable furniture. The Bungalow provided to be so spacious that my spouse called her sister in Virginia and invited her to join us. It was a short junket to collect her at the Tampa airport and the girls enjoyed each other in a way they had not been privileged to do since childhood. The bungalow allowed us to be at home and prepare our favorite meals which were made from fresh supplies from well stocked supermarkets, a wonderful farmer's market and several fresh seafood suppliers that are conveniently located on the mainland. The home was located only a few steps from the beach, in an absolutely quiet, serene setting. It was wonderful!! We found the gulf waters to be an ever-changing kaleidoscope of marine life set in exquisite scenery. The sunsets were breathtaking. The shells were very varied, plentiful and beautiful. The water was ever-changing and the sand was kept clean and beautiful on a daily basis. Exquisite! An extra bonus of the key was Stump Pass Beach State Park, which offered trails, a wide variety of indigenous flora and fauna which drew me to savor its beauty on an almost daily basis. My walks there, along with shelling, sunbathing, photographing and surf fishing, made Minnesota Key the perfect place for appropriate diversion from my work, as well as offering great physical exercise. Living for a month on Minnesota Key offered the best of two worlds: the seclusion that I sought for my work and, just across the bridge over Lemon Bay, any and everything one could want or need for comfortable living. Whether one likes surf fishing or deep sea fishing, golf, sightseeing, great culinary experiences, or sightseeing, this is the place! Be sure to bring your camera because the scenery is ever changing and most breathtak

We stayed at this property for 3 weeks in late May and Early June. Had a great time and the accomodations are very nice and the house is clean and very near the beach, only a few houses away. I would recommend this house to anyone wanting a relaxed and enjoyable stay at the beach.

We rented the big side for three generations under one roof. Everybody found something they could enjoy: the beach, solitude if wanted, the pool table, internet hookup, easy shopping near by, eating places and coffee shops, and unparalled sunsets.

The house was spotless. I took my daughter there to get over a medical procedure. The beach was the best medicine. It only 100 yards form the cottage and the view was amazing. The people who live in the neighborhood are very laid back. The owners have made it easy to relax and enjoy. The decor is fantastic. One is close enough to go to amazing restuarants and pubs, but the kitchen is set up to stay in an cook. The dining area is great for a large group to eat or play cards at the table. The pool table is a great addition, as is the washer and dryer. I plan to go back.
