The new Northstar village has a little bit of everything for everyone from ice skating to shopping to fine/casual dining and even open fire pits with private booths for cocktails and roasting smores with family or friends.
Enjoy the golf course even during the winter right out your back door. Perfect for snowshoeing or cross country skiing, building a snowman or having a snowball fight! AND After a hard day on the slopes if you don't feel like going to the Recreation Center hop into the hot tub on your back deck complete with outdoor speakers and a spectacular view of Martis Valley!
Close by is Stateline and Nevada which means Casinos and gambling! Truckee and Kings Beach are only 10-15 min drive for supplies and groceries. Reno is only thirty minutes away and has a Costco, Whole Foods and Trader Joes. Lake Tahoe is just over the hill and has great views during the winter and summer.
With three bedroom, three baths, two living rooms (one for the adults and one for the kids) and a loft it is a perfect setup for 1-2 families with kids or a group of friends looking to have a great place to stay!
A full kitchen and dining room area, one car garage and space for four cars in the driveway with additional parking one block up will make sure that everyone is comfortable. This Cabin in Northstar is excellent! It easily accommodates 12 people . It was clean and well maintained. The owner was terrific to deal with and prompt with answering questions. I would highly recommend staying here!!!! The recreation facility was incredible and the shuttle system a huge bonus!

This is the PERFECT vacation house!! We rented it for a week - 2 families, 6 kids and it was incredibly spacious! The ammenitites that we had access to at Northstar coulnd not be beat, we will definitely come back!

We had a wonderful time with our extended family at this very spacious cabin. It is a perfect place for families to stay. The kitchen is very well supplied! There is a beautiful deck overlooking the golf course. The view is spectacular. It was so easy to take the free shuttle to the rec center every day. This was the best cabin we have ever rented! It was so nice to have a whole separate area for the kids. The house is huge and comfortable and exceeded our expectations!

The property was well maintained and very clean. Ideal for two families with kids (bunkroom) and teens (den with loft). The listing and photos accurately describe the property but it was much more than we expected! The owner was very helpful with driving tips. The shuttle service was very convenient and better than driving to the resort. We had a great time! I would stay here again.

Wonderful house with lots of space--two fireplaces--very nice. Everything was great--very spacious, great views of the golf course, convenient shuttle to Northstar. Our party was 5 adults and everyone was very very happy with the place. Would definitely stay again.

Great location, wonderful house and lay-out, perfect for 2 families with lots of room for all! (4 adults / 3 kids) We truly had a wonderful time in this home - the best part was we felt like we were staying at a friend's place - so comfortable and everything we needed was there. The kids had lots of room to play and hang out, and having the golf course as a back yard gave a nice open feel even though you are actually REALLY close to the village. Well-equipped kitchen, nice bbq and hot tub area and nice big washer/dryer (key for all those soggy ski clothes!). Being from Hawaii, the inside temp is always important, and this house warmed up nicely with the fireplaces, etc. Shuttle was convenient. We'd stay here again!!

We had great stay here. We had a group of 6 adults, so having 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms was perfect. The house is fully stocked with everything you could need, very clean and spacious and the owners were very easy to deal with. The hot tub out back is a great amenity, and the views out of the back of the house are excellent. I highly recommend the use of the shuttle to the Northstar Village. Parking at Northstar is really far away from the village and you end up having to take a bus regardless, so it is super convenient to call an automated number and have door to door service within minutes. I would recommend this house to friends and family (and they even allow pets!).

We had a fantastic stay at 190 Basque! It was a perfect layout for our two families (4 adults, 5 children). The kids loved the double bunk bedroom! Amazingly convenient to Northstar Village by shuttle, and situated right on the golf course, with lots of backyard for playing in the snow. A wonderful time! Thank you!
