Vista Mare is the quintessential beach house. This beautiful cottage sits directly across the street from the gulf along Scenic 30A in Seacrest Beach. Enjoy your own private oasis with a private pool in the back yard. Sit on the porch and enjoy the incredible gulf views or take a stroll along the beach. There is a beach access directly across the street from this home. This house has just been completely remodeled in 2008 to give it a fresh feel.

Vista Mare sleeps up to 10-12 people. There is a king bed in the master suite and a queen in one of the guest bedrooms. The other guest bedrooms has two sets of bunk beds with double beds on the bottom and twins on the top. There is also a queen size sleeper sofa in the living room. All bedrooms are outfitted with televisions along with the living room. The home is stocked with a DVD collection and board games for those rainy days. The home is finished beautifully with hardwood flooring and granite counter tops throughout. It has been professionally decorated by a local design company. Vista Mare is outfitted with wireless internet for those of you who have to work.

This area of 30A is well known for it's laid back lifestyle yet is close to shopping and restaurants. Take a ride and enjoy the community of Rosemary Beach or over to the new Pier Park in Panama City Beach. This location is perfect whether you are looking for peace and quiet or looking to get out and have some fun!

Relaxing after a day on Seacrest Beach

VRBO Bear stayed here - 07/17/2009 I just returned from a wonderful trip to Seacrest, Florida! My human friends and I stayed at a fabulous house right along Scenic 30-A, a 19-mile road that hugs the Gulf of Mexico coastline.

Soon after arriving, I took a two-minute walk across the street from the house and my bear paws were in the beautiful, sugary sand! The beach was pristine and never crowded.

After playing in the surf, we headed back to the house for lunch in the fully-equipped kitchen featuring granite countertops. Then, I went for a swim in the new pool right in our fenced backyard. We cooked some wonderful meals on the large gas grill.

With the two bedrooms downstairs and the one upstairs, we had plenty of room to stretch out. I really enjoyed the bunk beds! Plus, the decks were great to hang out and take-in the view. From a full-size washer and dryer to beach chairs for our use, this house had everything we needed for our family beach vacation.

This house was located in a perfect spot along 30-A and there were many convenient attractions nearby. One day, we drove into Destin and played putt-putt golf at The Track Amusement Park, and another day we went to Fudpucker’s Beachside Grill & Bar where I got to pet an alligator! I wish we had stayed another week so I could see everything this area had to offer.

We could not have picked a better home to stay in for our family vacation. Next year, this is definitely a spot I yearn to return to again!

  • We had a great week in this beautifully decorated spacious home! It is wonderfully located across the street from the beach access, has a good view from the top porch, and is in a quiet neighborhood. The private pool was great for the children (and adults too)and the beach and ocean are beautiful in this area. The closest convenient store is about 2 miles away and the nearest grocery store is about 5 miles away. If you are looking for a quiet relaxing family atmosphere which is what we like, this is the place! Josh is great friendly guy with which to deal. We had a great time and plan to be back again!

  • We LOVED this home!!! The bunk room was a big hit, since we do have FIVE children!!! The house is very spacious and we loved the short walk across the street to "our" beautiful beach! It was also nice being 20 minutes from Destin and about 10 minutes from Panama City...Seaside is a great little community just 5 minutes down the road with a lot of great night life activities (concerts; family movie night etc)also where the Truman Show was filmed :o) We made so many fun & happy family memories this year and will continue to rent Vista Mare every summer going forward!!!!   • We had an awesome week at Vista Mare! The accommodations were tastefully decorated and were very adequate for our group. The location was great with beach access right across the street. The top deck had a great view of the gulf. The kids especially enjoyed the pool and the beach. We WILL be back!
