Discounts available on this cute and cozy studio plus loft plus extra bunk area at popular Mountain Shadows complex. The unit is 2 stories and comfortably sleeps a total of 7 adults. Entire unit has been newly painted and has brand new log mountain/style furnishings. Downstairs you will find a nice knotty pine full size futon, flat screen TV, wood-burning stove, dining area, kitchen and full bathroom. The kitchen fully stocked, ice and bright and has extra seating at the bar.
Upstairs is the roomy and nicely furnished master loft area with a spacious full bathroom. All bedding, furniture, window treatments and accessories are brand new. This condo has vaulted ceilings, is very warm, light and bright with south-facing windows allowing a lot of sunlight in. Off the living/dining area is the nice large covered balcony. There is also an extra seating area with full size pull out futon sofa that can accommodate 2 more.
The complex is ideal! People love staying at Mountain Shadows because of the convenience it offers. Being directly on the shuttle run and in town allows you to shuttle to and from the lifts and walk to all the shops and restaurants in town. The amenities offered are great as well. Amenities include a pool, 2 saunas, 2 Jacuzzi's, BBQ areas and laundry facilities.

Cute place, but not the best experience

The condo is just like the pictures, except for there's a lot of dog/cat hair (or some sort of hair) all over the place. The sheets/blankets also had tons of hair everywhere, which is pretty noticeable if you are wearing black pants. On top of that, the twin downstairs had sand in the sheets almost like it hadn't been changed. The first night we were there was extremely cold. If you are use to using wall heaters to heat your place, then don't stay here. The first night the only heaters we could use was a little oil heater and the wood burning stove, which wasn't sufficient at all in keeping us warm. Fortunately, I called the management company the 2nd night, and the owner agreed to let us use the wall heater. I've stayed at other units in the Mountain Shadows complex before during blizzard conditions and wasn't as cold as we were at this unit. The management company also brought us some clean sheets to change the twin with; however, they did mention that normally they don't provide linens as it's not a hotel. Overall, I would probably not stay here again. While the unit is really cute, the pet hair, coldness, and sand in the bed deter me from wanting to stay at this unit again.
