My cozy cabin is located on 12 private acres up above Route 30, right across from Beebe Lake. There are 2000 acres of conservatory land with beaver ponds, wildlife, waterfalls, streams, rock climbing and hiking trails. It's a short 20 minute hike up to Eagle Rock which has an amazing view of the Lower Adirondacks and the Champlain Valley. This is a quintessential Vermont cabin that is fully equipped. If you enjoy privacy, nature and the sound of gushing water, this is your getaway.

The lake is a short walk to the end of the driveway. Beebe Lake is great for fishing, kayaking, swimming and sailing. No motor boats are allowed, though boats can be rented on nearby Lake Bomoseen and Lake Hortonia. The supermarket is 15 miles away and there are several country stores within a few miles from the cabin.

Some of the nearby tourist attractions are The Hubbardton Battlefield and The Maple Museum in Pittsford, we are near, Killington, Fort Tyconderoga, Lake Bomoseen, Brandon, Rutland and Middlebury.

My girlfriend, 2 dogs, and I had a great time at the cabin. We were expecting that from the ad and the ease of transaction from the owner, but we were happier then expected with the cabin. It is clean, neat, and to the point. Everything needed is there. A plus is the huge window in the living room, what a view. We chose to sleep in the living room instead of the bedroom to take advantage of the views. Plenty of land and trails to hike. The hike to beaver pond was great, we did it in the snow in october!! dont see that to often on long island. Best of all was the privacy. We were not bombarded with neighbors or an overfriendly owner..We were not looking for a B&B type experience at all and we got what we wanted. To sum up, i felt that my money was well spent here and gtlad we chose to rent from david. We also plan on returning and anxious to make time to use the ATV next time...which is a great perk. Thanks David from me and family

This cabin exceeded my expectations, even with the great VRBO ad. It's private and tranquil, but still has everything the Vermont countryside has to offer - great farmer's markets, hiking, swimming in nearby lakes, even just beautiful rides through farm country. My 6 yr old son played in the stream every morning looking for frogs and I've never seen him happier. On our way home after vacation he sighed and said "Mom, I wish we lived at that house." David was also a generous and accomodating host. His binder of things to see and do is not to be overlooked. So many great suggestions! Thank you for offering up your cabin to my family. We will definitely be back!

The description doesn't do it justice. A beautiful setting, peaceful, quiet & tranquil. The cabin was clean, comfortable, warm and very homely. Everything we needed was there including telephone contact with the owner if there was anything we needed E.G. directions, local information etc. A real bonus was seeing hummingbirds right outside the window. Thank you so much for a wonderful week. Steve & Jackie UK

We stayed at falling waters for our honeymoon, driving up right after our wedding. I have never been anywhere more peaceful or immediately homey. We were greeted by more frogs than I have ever seen. The owner is so helpful and accomodating. The property is amazing, the hike up to eagle rock is quick but steep & very worth it for an incredible view of the adirondacks and surrounding areas. We spent so much time exploring the woods, photographing the wildlife, and just relaxing. Our only 'problem' was deciding where to sit..the side porch, the front porch, the hammock, one of many benches, inside by the beautiful window....what a problem to have! We mostly stayed at the (very cozy) cabin but it is very easy to get anywhere you want to go! I would recommend this property to anyone who loves nature and the sound of water, it is a truly special place. Thank you so much, we hope to return very soon with my stepson!

We just spent a week at this amazing property. We loved so much about this location, the waterfall, the stream, the wrap around deck, the hiking, the books, games, swimming in the lake, the hammock, the fire pit, Eagle Rock, the deep woods, the smell, the feel, the peace and serenity that comes with this perfect little spot on the mountain. You are surrounded by nature, a great get away to read a book, listen to music, fall asleep to the sound of the waterfall, nap in the hammock...just get away from it all. It is a little piece of paradise with all the comforts of a home. The owner and neighbors are very helpful. This is a place that has to be experienced, the pictures are great but they do not even begin to capture the beauty of this area. Great shopping near by. A great place for a family vacation or girls retreat. This place is amazing!!!

By Stephanie (Brooklyn, NY USA) My husband, 1 yr old daughter and I stayed at this cabin for 4 days last week and had an amazing time! The cabin was super clean and really homey. Was a perfect mix of comfort, convenience and small, get-away simplicity. The property is gorgeous and we enjoyed many hikes up the mountain and relaxed at the outdoor fire pit at night! The property owner invites you to use anything in the house or on the property and just asks you have respect for the next renter. The neighbor is very sweet as well - we encountered him on a hike as he was returning from mowing up the mountain - he pointed us to the beaver pond and came by the cabin later to make sure we made it home alright with our daughter. Seriously couldn't have asked for more... we will definitely return!

We had a wonderful time during our stay at the cabin! It was so peaceful. We were able to completely relax, but there are plenty of things to keep you active if you prefer. The accommodations were even better than what I imagined. It was an all around great experience!

We loved our stay! The beauty of the area in which the cabin is situated is astounding. The cabin itself is very lovely. In addition, the owners are very kind- pleasure to interact with.

Owner response: Thanks Sharon, we are so glad you enjoyed it. We would love to have you again next year. Gerardo
