Verandah is a secluded community away from the rush of the city. The grounds are very well maintained mixing old Florida -100 year old moss laden oak trees with the tall palm trees and abundant flowering shrubs. The Orange river runs along the south edge of Verandah, past the club house.
There is so much to do and everyone we've met is very friendly. It's easy to feel at home. The Golf staff is very helpful and professional, as is the staff at the Tennis and Spa center. The food is quite good and the service is excellent. Canoes are provided at no charge and a paddle up the Orange to see the Manatee is a unique experience.
At the condo the Lanai looks over the 5th fairway and nearly every evening there is a fantastic sunset.
