We spent a glorious week at this Poway property for our annual family vacation... two families of four (kids ages 1 - 7) plus two grandmas and it was perfect! The location was great - beaches and major attractions 30 - 40 minutes away, beautiful quiet setting, manicured grounds to play badminton and croquet and to lay out...and the pool and hot tub were wonderful (and fenced!). The outdoor BBQ area was perfect for all of our grilling needs and the gourmet kitchen was more than we could have asked for (two dishwashers!!!) The pictures didn't do this property justice - and it was stocked with more than the "essentials". The owner was more than helpful and was able to give us local recommendations. I would recommend this property to any large families or even a small group get away - if you want to hit the theme parks, or just spend some time relaxing around the pool, this property is perfect. My favourite part was that each bedroom had it's own ensuite - no sharing bathrooms! Amazing weather, beautiful property, perfect family vacation!Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children.

This property is absolutely amazing and was just like the listing described! Top quality and amenities everywhere, exceptionally clean, nice and all on one level. Staying there made our stay so much more enjoyable with room to relax, fun things to do while at the home and the ability to cook and not eat out in restaurants for every meal. The owner could not have been more helpful. Just a delight!Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.
Owner response: The property is roomy indeed. This group had 15 with 1/2 the group being kids. It is a place for magical memories. I hope you get the chance to experience the property for yourselves.

Our family rented this fabulous house for a vacation and we all feel we could not have chosen a better place to spend the week. The house is decorated so lovely and is very comfortable! Our family includes 2 young grandchildren and the house is perfectly suited for toddlers. The grounds around the house are landscaped beautifully and there is a lot of room for outdoor activities. The kitchen is fantastic and has everything you could ever need for family meals and easy clean up. We would rent this house in a heartbeat! It was such a privilege to be there!! We loved our week in Poway! The house is spacious, comfortable and absolutely beautiful! Just wait until you see the kitchen! About the owner: We are Canadian owning in one of the most beautiful areas of California.
Why the Owner Chose Poway:
Poway is described as "the City in the Country". There is a western flare and the energy is very positive. The area is beautiful, clean, and has anything you need with all the privacy and quietness you would want as well. It is close to amazing golf courses. There are tennis courts you can use throughout the community. The people are very friendly. We love coming to our vacation home. It is next to impossible not to have a GREAT time.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
All the conveniences of a large city are within 10 minutes of the property without the "big" feel. Kids love the acres of room to play when you don't want to be in the hub of people.
Poway is situated 30 minutes from most of the major attractions in the area including the beaches.
I love the vast number of trails in the area for running, biking, and walking. Going to Lake Poway (just down the road)is one of my favorite things to do. Walk around the lake for an hour or walk to Romona damn. A great workout or a wonderful natural stroll in the wilderness.
