6 Ibis Street is furnished in sophisticated island style. Up 14 steps to the pool deck level and enter a stylishly decorated living room with a leather sectional sofa, huge 65" flat screen TV, DVD, stereo and surround sound. Italian tile flooring runs throughout open floorplan on the main level. The top of the line kitchen has granite counters, stainless steel appliances and counter seating for 6 and a booth sofa seating for 4. The formal dinning room has seating for 8 to 10. The game/breakfast room, with views of and an exit to the pool deck, is off the living room and has a game table with four chairs and a love seat. There are two master bedrooms. Each has a king bed, walk in closet, TV and DVD player and private bath with tile floors and showers and granite countertops. Bedroom #3 has twin beds, and bedroom #4 has a queen bed and opens onto a covered area of the pool deck. BR #3 & #4 share a bath with a shower/tub. There is a spacious laundry room on the main level and another full bathroom as well.
Upstairs is a separate kids/teens level. The bedroom has two twin beds with pull out trundles, sleeping 4, and a window seat. The bathroom has a Jacuzzi tub and separate shower. The Kids TV room has a red sectional sofa, flat screen TV and DVD player. The sound from the kids level is contained so it doesn't disturb the main living area on the floor below. There is a covered garage area under the full footprint of the house that makes a great recreation area with a shuffleboard court, ping-pong table and dart board. There is also an outdoor shower for cleaning up from the beach. Both the pool and/or the spa can be heated upon request. Pool deck has easy access and visibility from the main living area of the house. The deck is furnished with a gas grill, glass top iron table with seating for 6, lounge chairs and deck chairs. The walk to the beach is a straight shot down Ibis Street and there is a cart in the garage for hauling beach chairs and coolers.

The Unique Benefits at this House
We felt strongly about building the pool on the same level as the living area. The line between inside and out is blurred. Children can be watched while in the pool as adults are preparing meals enjoying games and setting up an alfresco dinner on the patio. The two master suites are a bonus to families traveling together.

Most have been for the best and the Island is an exciting place to live and to visit.Our family enjoys the water sport and fishing opportunities together with the tennis and golf year round. We spent the week at 6 Ibis with a family of 10, we all had our personal space to relax. The home was in a great location; near ocean, bike trail, shopping and tennis. Being completely stocked with linens, kitchen and laundry was very helpful. We found the home very clean and seemed to enjoy it more as the week went on, discovering more ammenities. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

The listing is definitely accurate for the location and photos reflect the home perfectly. This is a great home in North Forest Beach with close proximity to the beach. Our group of 8 found the accommodations very comfortable. The house is tastefully decorated and very cozy, yet plenty of room for our group. The property was very clean and well-maintained and the owner was very attentive to all of our inquires. I have to say the kitchen is the most well-equipped for cooking with great cookware, plenty of utensils, dishes, glasses, containers, and gadgets for cooking large family meals that I have seen (I have stayed in several homes over the years at HHI). We had several meals at the house and enjoy that part of our vacation quite a bit. The weather was wonderful in September and this part of the island's beach is beautiful, along with being located within walking distance to Coligny. I want to personally thanks Beverly for her hospitality and will definitely consider this property again in the future and recommend to others in search of property at HHI.

This house was so comfortable....a home away from home!! It is a 3 minute walk to the beach, close to Coligny Plaza which has great shopping and resturaunts. We were there with 2 other families, a total of 14 people and there was plently of room. The upstairs "teen suite" was perfect for our needs. The owners are lovely, very attentive to their property and it shows. We had a great time and would recommend it.

This home exceeded our expectations and the photos did not do this home justice! The location was fantastic...short bike ride to Coligny Plaza and a very short, pleasant walk to the beach. The open concept design and the layout of the bedrooms was perfect for a large family and never felt crowded. The toaster oven stopped working during our stay and Beverly arrived shortly after with a brand new one!! The kids had a blast with their own upstairs retreat! The house was very clean upon arrival. Compared to other homes in the area, this home was a perfect balance of comfort, convenience and value. We are already starting to think about planning our next trip back to 6 Ibis St! 6 Ibis is a wonderful place for a large family to stay. The home is updated and the open floor plan is great. The kids loved having their own hang-out upstairs. Although the pool is small it certainly serves the purpose…the kids (and adults) can cool off in the pool and Jacuzzi while meals are being prepared. Plus it is such a convenient location…only a 3 minute bike ride to Coligny Plaza and about a 3-4 minute walk to the beach. We had a couple of issues/concerns and the owners came over immediately to take care of things. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend it highly. 7/23/11

What a fabulous beach house. The pictures online do not do it justice. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our week. Between the second "teen" living space (we have four of them with friends stopping by!), the short walk to the beach, the convenience of Coligny Plaza and the pool with jacuzzi the house was a total hit. Much of our time was spent outside reading, playing at the beach, hanging out by the pool or eating on the deck. The owners were great to work with and have done a fantastic job of remodeling their home. We have rented many homes and my husband says this is probably the nicest one we have ever stayed in. We can't say enough good things about this house. It truly feels like a home. Our only hesitancy is that it will become popular enough we will have difficulty renting it again! Thank you Wilburn's.

This home was wonderful, beautiful home and great location. This home was very clean and well maintained. We were on a family vacation 3 families all together and there was plenty of room of everyone to have their own space. Very close to shopping,restaurants and lots of activities. The pool was great and the hot tub also great even in the hot weather. I would recommend renting bikes, lots of fun!! You can bike almost anywhere! Looking forward to coming back next year! Great for families! Room upstairs great for teenagers, really is sound proof!
