To anyone reading this review, and considering Heavenly Vista as your home away from home...look no further, this is THE one! You will not find a more accomodating and gracious host than Bill. My planning process was seamless with Bill's communication and the knowledge he shared with the surrounding areas. The home itself is an absolute splendor to stay in. My family of 2 adults and 4 children, and my brother's family of 2 adults and 2 children, had more than enough room to spread out. One of the most enjoyable parts of our time there was the kitchen and dining areas. The kitchen is so well equipped, we cooked almost every meal there. And every night, when the 4 little ones were tucked away, our 2 older children and the adults enjoyed an evening of board games at the dining table. The master suite is a retreat in itself, and the beds...omg!!! It was a challenge getting out of them to hit the slopes early! Did I mention the not 1, but 2 jacuzzi's we took advantage of?!? Although the tempratures were a little chilly for this family from Hawaii, there was no way we were gonna pass on soaking in that hut tub till our skins were pruned! The location of the home is literally minutes away from the center of it all. What a convenience that is. We walked at the Heavenly Villiage, played and dined at the nearby casinos, and took a short 30 minute drive out to Kirkwood for two days of snowboarding. Btw, if your looking for an AWESOME restaurant. "Gi Fu Loh" in Harrah's serves amazing chinese cuisine, and the atmosphere is modern and upscale, with reasonable pricing. All in all, my family and I had an amazing time there. We played, we relaxed, and just enjoyed our surroundings and each other. This trip was a big deal for me, my 4 girls are getting older, and opportunities like this won't last forever. It was a year of planning and saving, and thank my stars I found Bill and his beautiful home. We will have the memories of sharing a Christmas holiday with love and gratitude and new experiences. Heavenly Vista was a very nice and comfortable place to stay! Loved the kitchen which was fully equipped with every cooking utensil we needed! Hot tub was perfect after a day of snowboarding. Loved the Cal King master bedroom with its fireplace and another hot tub. Loved how detailed the wooden furniture was. Great stay! We'll come back again!

Heavenly Vista has been a wonderful place for a group of friends from San Francisco and San Luis Obispo to celebrate the start of this now 2010! Everything was spotless, extremely well organized, and the prompt replies from Bill made our stay easy, restful, and past wonderful. We loved having baths in the outside tub. Plenty of towels, bed linens, and a fully-stocked kitchen was extremely helpful. Thank you Bill and family for having such a wonderful place to share with all of us. We'll definitely be back!

I just wanted you to know that we all had a marvellous holiday in your lovely house in Lake Tahoe. The first thing we did when we arrived at 11 pm was toss a coin to decide which of us would get to use the master bedroom. The coin came up heads, which was what I called, so Bill and I won! I felt a little guilty but I needn't have because Michael and Emma were very comfortable in their suite of rooms downstairs. We loved a number of things about the house. The kitchen was great and so well equipped. You know, we didn't eat out once in the evening. The kitchen/dining/living area was so pleasant - we really enjoyed relaxing in it in the evening, all of us taking turns to cook a meal. Bill's cooking skills are a well-kept secret, so we were all surprised by his wonderful Christmas Day starter - king crabs cooked to perfection in the steamer. His birthday is coming up soon. I think I might surprise him with a new kitchen gadget! Michael, who did most of the driving, really enjoyed using the remote garage door opener and we all thought the access to your lovely warm house at the end of a day on the slopes was particularly easy. There's a lot more I could say but I'll have to sign off now and get our evening meal on the table. Thank you so much for being such a wonderful host. I'm sorry we didn't get to meet or even talk on the phone but I certainly appreciate all the consideration you showed us. Happy New Year to you and your family. Heavenly Vista was better than we could have imagined, especially after the long drive from San Diego. Straight to the hot tub! Lake Tahoe is beautiful. We hiked down to the Vikingsholm castle in Emerald Bay, and even used the sleds provided at the house on some fresh snow. It was wonderful to have the fully-stocked kitchen and a Safeway store a stones-throw away. We cooked every meal at the house. The kids enjoyed having their own TV and DVD player and choice of bunk beds, and we enjoyed the hi-speed wireless access to catch up with family and friends for the holiday. The couch is sinfully comfortable. We'll be back- thanks Heavenly Vista!

We had a great time this weekend up in Tahoe and we had beautiful weather! We loved the house… great décor, nice and new, and spacious. The backyard was great too unfortunately we didn’t have time to play any games but we did use the hot tub one night. We also used the beach passes one day and that was really nice. The ipod docking station worked well and guestbook was handy. Thanks again for your help! I would definitely stay there again if we come back to Tahoe!

Thank you Heavenly Vista! Our family had a great time here. It was like home for us. All three of the families that stayed here had tons of room, no-one was bumping into each other. The kids were happy playing in the back yard with the horseshoes and badminton. The hot tub was even better! We look forward to staying here again! Happy Fourth of July!!

Heavenly Vista was an ideal getaway. The house was perfect for all nine of us. We especially loved soaking in the hot tub while looking at the slopes we were boarding on a half-hour before! The kitchen had everything we needed and the beds were soooo comfortable! We watched Ironman (the movie) on your amazing TV and loved the surround sound- it was just like a movie theater. You thought of everything when you set up your house. We can't wait to return this summer! :-)

From Danny (9 yrs. old) - The flat screen TV was wicked! Cool hot tub lights. Go tubing at Hanson's. From Billy (9 yrs. old) - I liked the giant TV and great kitchen. The bunk beds are awesome! Cool fancy glasses. The hot tub is hot! You have to try the snowmobiles at Zephyr Cove- wicked! Kristin (Momma) - To Heavenly Vista; You all did a beautiful job outfitting the place. I felt pampered and romantic! I can't wait to return! :-)

Thank you for having us stay in this wonderful cabin this weekend. We felt welcome from the moment we arrived. The house was nice and warm, the couch well-stuffed, the beds comfy, and the kitchen open and inviting. We had a great time sitting in the kitchen for breakfast, and watching TV and movies in the evenings. This weekend we went tubing and snowboarding. Snowboarding was a blast, except the weather was unpredictable at first with warm sun turning to rain. Later on Friday it turned to snow and snowed the rest of the weekend! It was so beautiful here! Of course, what trip is complete here without a trip to the casinos? A few of us won big, a few lost small, but overall a GREAT trip- thank you once again!

We absolutely enjoyed our stay here- everything was perfect! The home is so warm and inviting. Perfect for a winter getaway. The amenities are all wonderful and we gladly took advantage of them all. We sincerely appreciate Bill's hospitality in opening his home to us. Tahoe was amazing! We extended our stay by one day to take advantage of the fresh powder on the slopes. Thank you so much for a magical vacation! This whole week has been amazing. We cooked almost every meal on the excellent cookware, had a movie night with the giant TV and superb couch, and soaked in both spectacular hot tubs. The beds are so comfortable, there is plenty of hot water, and it's so peaceful here. We don't want to stay anywhere else. We will book our next vacationright away! I loved the views from the back deck and master suite, and the trees surrounding the house. I'd love to stay all day and slide around in my socks, but it's a powder day. Thanks for such an incredible stay. I really enjoyed the clean, warm environment and the unique architecture of the house.
