This large pet friendly 2-story home , with a 6 person hot tub on the lower deck,located a half mile from Ski Beech resort on Beech Mountain, is wonderful for a vacation getaway any time of the year. This home is perfect for a couple looking for a romantic weekend or a large family group looking for that great mountain experience.
The large great room on the main level has 5 huge picture windows and is decorated in a lodge style with lots of moose and bears. Mother Nature supplies the cool weather and we supply the firewood, so you will enjoy curling up in front of the large wood-burning fireplace almost any season of the year. The sofa on this level opens into a comfortable queen size bed. In addition there is a small loft with a twin bed overlooking the living area.
On this main floor there is a master bedroom as well as a second bedroom, each with a queen size bed and a huge picture window. The one and a half baths on this floor are arranged with the tub/shower in a separate room with connecting doors to a half bath on each side. The dining area and fully equipped kitchen also have a lot of cute bears, but don't worry-they won't eat much.
Downstairs you will find a family room with a foosball game table and another queen sleeper sofa. There is a second master bedroom with king size bed and a full bath. A finished utility room houses the full sized washer and dryer.
Each level of the home opens onto a separate spacious deck. You will enjoy relaxing in the 6 person hot tub located on the lower deck after a day of skiing or sight seeing. Watch deer, turkeys and other tame wildlife wander through the large wooded yard as you enjoy your morning coffee or make use of the gas grill to cook those steaks or hamburgers.
This home has A TV in each Bedroom and one in the living room and one in the family room. You will also appreciate the fact that there is wireless Internet for your laptop.
Access to the home is easy since there is parking for 4 cars level with the road. A wooden sidewalk with handrails and a total of 11 steps leads down to the house.
Apple Chalet II is within walking distance of several restaurants on Beech Mountain and is just a half mile from the slopes at Ski Beech. It is about a mile from the recreation area at Lake Coffey.
This home is pet friendly. If you make arrangements in advance you may request permission to bring a small or in some cases a medium sized canine family member with you.
In the summer you will appreciate the fact that this home has Beech Mountain Club privileges. For a fee, you are allowed access to the Olympic size heated pool (Memorial Day-Labor Day), the outstanding golf course (May-October), tennis, fitness and dining facilities. |
