This large pet friendly 2-story home , with a 6 person hot tub on the lower deck and free wireless Internet for you laptop for and digital cable (expanded) for your TV,is wonderful for a vacation getaway this winter. This home is perfect for a couple looking for a romantic weekend or a large family group looking for that great mountain experience. To see why, take the "Virtual Tour".

The large great room on the main level has 5 huge picture windows and is decorated in a lodge style with lots of moose and bears. Mother Nature supplies the cool weather and the owner supplies the firewood, so you will enjoy curling up in front of the large wood-burning fireplace almost any season of the year. The sofa on this level opens into a comfortable queen size bed. In addition there is a small loft with a twin bed overlooking the living area. On this main floor there is a master bedroom as well as a second bedroom, each with a queen size bed and a huge picture window. The one and a half baths on this floor are arranged with the tub/shower in a separate room with connecting doors to a half bath on each side. The dining area and fully equipped kitchen also have a lot of cute bears, but don't worry-they won't eat much.

Downstairs you will find a family room with a foosball (non-electronic) game table and another queen sleeper sofa. There is a second master bedroom with a king size bed and a full bath decorated with lots of lodge decor. A finished utility room houses the full-sized washer and dryer.

Each level of the home opens onto a separate spacious deck. This home has a new 6 person hot tub for the lower deck so it is all ready for our winter guests. Watch deer, turkeys and other wildlife wander through the large wooded yard as you enjoy your morning coffee or make use of the gas grill to cook those steaks or hamburgers.

Apple Chalet II is about .2 or .3 miles from several restaurants on Beech Mountain and is just a half mile from the slopes at Ski Beech. It is about a mile from the recreation area at Lake Coffey.

This home is within walking distance of #20 Charter Hills Choice and about 0.3 mile from 28 Beechwood Villa.
