Cozy & comfortable San Fran flat

My family and I stayed at this 2 BD flat for a week and found it to be more than comfortable for our stay. The laundry machines and fully stocked kitchen were extremely convenient (and more economical than eating out every night) and the flat was just a few blocks away from the ocean, a Safeway, a Walgreens and a great running trail. The fog that rolls in off the Pacific added to the experience and the area was much quieter than staying downtown (which is only about 15 minutes away by car). Parking wasn't really a problem either, we usually found parking either on the same block or around the corner. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay!

We go to San Francisco two to three times a year to visit family and go on hiking adventures in the area. We also love Golden Gate park which is close by. This property is in a nice neighborhood, with views of the ocean and the city right when you step outside the door. It was perfect for us since we drove up from Orange County and were able to park our car on the street. We found the beds to be very comfortable, the kitchen and living room had everything we needed, and the extra 1/2 bathroom was great since there were 3 of us. The price comes out to be about the same as a hotel but it's so much cozier, we will recommend it to both friends and family. We plan on renting this property again for our next trip!

We had a wonderful time in SF! The apartment/home was well taken care of (one of the nicest on the street), three blocks from the ocean, a few blocks from Golden Gate Park, three blocks from the view to see the Golden Gate Bridge, and ample parking close to the apartment. I would recommend this apartment to anyone who wishes to stay in SF. Beautiful wood floors, dishes and utensils were included. Beds were very comfortable. When we go back to SF next year, we will be staying here again. The apartment is based near a main road that leads to practically everything in the area, so we never got lost in town. 5 stars from us! We stayed there on our 30th wedding anniversary with our closest friends. They loved the place too, and want to stay there the next time they visit SF. This was one of the better deals in town - I know - we looked for three days - and we are very happy with this place!

Superb Place

For ten days guests in the apartement in July, we found everything like the description on the website. It is the perfect place for a family with two or three teenagers to join ether the surrounding area near the Pacific Ocean or exploring San Francisco by taking the bus: for everybody his individual program. The apartment was comfortable, spacious, clean and has all you need (plus extras; we appreciated the good design, the laundry, the W-LAN, the flat-screen TV and, of course the steam sauna); we felt like home quickly. The host Duane respects privacy, but is around, if you need something. A quiet, safe neighborhood and no problem to find a parking place. There are a couple of good asian restaurants close and to grab some food at the market nearby is easy. All in all: eyerything like promised or even more! We had an amazing experience here and can recommend this place to everybody. Looking forward to a next visit to this jewel, Duane!

Good Location; Home Provided All the Basics

We enjoyed our stay at this San Francisco condo. We had a family of four with 2 boys and the location near the Pacific Ocean and Golden Gate Park was a great location and nice home base for us to explore San Francisco and the surrounding area. Parking was available on the street and was sometimes taken nearby, but that's par for the course in San Francisco. The wireless internet also came in handy. Overall, the condo provided all the basics and was ideal for our stay.

Recommended for:Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.

San Francisco Flat

Had a nice vacation in S.F. The Flat was comfortable. One bathroom had a broken toilet seat; parking was a bit of a problem. We usually had to park on the next street. Overall, it was comfortable and quiet. Great location close to the ocean.

Owner response:I am the owner and also live upstairs. No one mentioned anything about a broken toilet seat at any time. In fact, this is the first notice about it. Generally, the cleaning people will also advise me of any issues as well. I provide a cell phone number as well as e-mail to all guests and if advised would have had it fixed immediately. Wish I had been notified. For SF, the parking is great in this area.
